The word for today is - Word !

Lets start with the Sermon, I heard Sunday morning, the word says get understanding.The Pastor talk about people dressing to look good in church, but their heart's are not right. It had me thinking about the word of God, where does God speak about dressing good, but people are not of Him (Spiritual).When studying the word of God you must submitted to the Spirit of truth.We should always go to the word for answers, what does God say, about this group of people. In the beginning was the word, and the word became flesh, read John 1:1-2, In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. The word of God tells us that every Spirit is not of Himself. The word says test the Spirits and know for yourself whether they are from God. Why ? Paul warns us of those who would seek to undermine us (the believers). Paul has informed us about the wolves who prey upon the saints. Because, as our Lord has warned us, they will come as “wolves in sheep’s clothing", read Matthew 7:15-19,Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. They will speak the Scriptures very well.The wolves of whom Paul warns us about are like someone on drugs ; they are hooked on meeting their needs. Wolves seek to turn believers from self-denial to self-indulgence, from self-sacrifice to self-service to them.They seek to satisfy their fleshly desires, they are servants of the flesh, their smooth and flattering with their words.Understand a wolf is hungry and seeking new prey to satisfy his or her own needs.They will attack and destroy any human that he or she can, so that they can be satisfied. A wolf is his own master and does whatever he or she wants, whenever they want too.Thats out of the will of God,thats wrong! This is not the Spirit of God ! Read Mark 9:40-43,For he that is not against us is on our part. For whosoever shall give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because ye belong to Christ, verily I say unto you, he shall not lose his reward.And whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea.And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched.We should be eager to pursue every privileged occasion to obtain the knowledge of God and His divine will for our life. Either a person is of the Light or darkness , Holy or unholy, Clean or unclean, of God or of satan.You may ask how can a people be this way? A people can talk the word of God, but are not doers of the word. They have know fear of God,they may say, the word says fear not. That is true for mankind , but the word says fear God. Read Psalm 111:10,The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endures forever. Watch and pray, thank God for want He has revealed to you, say nothing! Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !
