The word for today is - Vine!

Good morning,
The word for today is - Vine!

When we walk in the Spirit, we are abiding in Christ "the True Vine," and will reap fruit. We begin to realize that we truly died with Christ on the cross and now live in the power of His resurrection. The battle is already won for every believer in Christ.  We are asked to stand against the darkness in the victory of Christ. Read John 15,"I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser.  Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit.  Already you are clean because of the word that I have spoken to you.  Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me.  I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.  If anyone does not abide in me he is thrown away like a branch and withers; and the branches are gathered, thrown into the fire, and burned.  If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.  By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples.Jesus Christ says I am the true vine, God say this  to His disciples for a two-fold purpose: First, to let His disciples know that even though He would not be physically present with them always, He would send the Holy Spirit to be “with” and “in” them read Joh.14:17.   Second, He uses this opportunity to instruct them to remain in close fellowship with Him through the Holy Spirit, that they may bear spiritual fruit, receive answers to prayer, and have fullness of joy. Jesus Christ is the source of life unto the branches or the body of Christ. Christ is the Head or "source" of life to the church (the body of Christ).  As children of God, we have Christ in us through God's gift of the Holy Spirit given to every believer. This verse simply means that a person who is not abiding in God, then he or she is not growing spiritually in the knowledge and ways of God and is lacking in the fruits of the Spirit.  This person is or becomes useless in the things of God, and is similar to a withered branch that men would gather and burn because it bears no fruit. Do you know, who you are? Read Matthews 5:13, Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.  Remember the words that I (Jesus) said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.  The Holy Spirit will guide and direct our lives through God's Word and empower us as we yield our lives to Him. By remaining in the vine, we remain as lights in the world and remain as the salt of the earth being witnesses of Christ. Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Quick !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Quick !

Let's look at the move of God in I Corinthians 2:9  "But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him."Don't fret, nor are you to give up hoping, but remain still in the Lord's presence as He does a "Quick" work in your life and for your good. There are many who have been waiting in anticipation, while others have sat on pens and needles, waiting for God to move in their favor. Therefore, you need to get ready, for in deed you are about to witness the "Quick"manifestation of your heartfelt prayers. God ,knows exactly what you need to accomplish His will for your life, and His timing is impeccable concerning the way that you must take. The answers to your questions will come "Quick", the manifestation of God's promises will come "Quick. "This year 2011,you will experience the hand of God is moving in a powerful and dynamic way. Do you know that God is Omnipresence? Omnipresence means that God is always present. There is no place that you could go to escape God’s presence. God is not limited by time or space. Those who have found the comfort of making the Lord their refuge, in the midst of everything that comes your way faith shall keep you from being unduly afraid. Read Psalm 91:1-6,He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. We have no reason to fear if we trust in him (Jesus).Thank you God for your word. Amen!

The word for today is - Yeild !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Yeild !

Let's look at Exodus 20: 1-7,And God spake all these words, saying, I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt have no other gods before me. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments. Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord  thy God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain. Read John 3:3,Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Did you not know that, Nicodemus was afraid, or ashamed to be seen with Christ, therefore came in the night. Let's look at this first , he was a ruler, he was concern about his salvation. Jesus told him about  the new birth. This new birth is from heaven, read John 1: 13, Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. The things of the Spirit of God are foolishness to the natural man.  We must give up ourselves to be ruled, and taught, and saved by him. It means that something is done in us, and for us, which we cannot do for  ourselves. And here is the great gospel benefit, that whoever believes in Christ, shall not perish, but shall have everlasting life.A good man or woman acts truly and sincerely in all there ways. They desire to know  what the will of God is, and to do it, though against there own worldly interest. A change in there  whole character and conduct has taken place. The love of God is shed abroad in there  heart by the Holy Ghost, and is become the commanding principle of there  actions. Are you ,Yielding to God ? Let's look at Numbers 22:35, And the angel of the Lord said unto Balaam, Go with the men: but only the word that I shall speak unto thee, that thou shalt speak. So Balaam went with the princes of Balak.  Balaam wanted to do all these things to have a relationship with God, but he never wanted to obey. He wanted all the benefits and none of the responsibilities. However, Balaam is being driven by gold, by pride, and who knows what else, so he constantly, consistently refuses to do what God tells him to do. Some people still today want the blessings of being a Christian but none of the responsibility. Just as Balaam did!  Balaam is an illustration of a person who has access to the truth, like a person who reads the Bible all the time, but never obeys it.  Such a person is willing to cheat on his income tax, when he knows the eighth commandment  says, "You shall not steal." There are "Christian" people who are willing to kill their unborn children, yet know that the sixth commandment  says, "You shall not murder." There are "Christians" who lie all the time, knowing all the while that the ninth commandment says, "You shall not bear false witness." These people have access to the truth or have knowledge of the truth, but are never willing to put it into practice, why ? because they insist do what they want to do. If God repeats the same thing over and over again, it must be important. Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Defileth !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Defileth !

Jesus says in Matthew 15:7-9,Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying. This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their hearts is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.  Cussing and using the name of the Lord in vain causes one to become defiled. Let's look at  Matthew 15:1:1 "Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man."Matthew 15:17-20: "Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught? But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.  For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies: These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man." The word from God says in Ephesians 4:29,Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. This sets forth the principle of love in the heart, and the outward expression of it, in a humble, courteous behaviour. All lying, and corrupt communications, that stir up evil desires and lusts, grieve the Spirit of God. Read Exodus 20:7,Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain; for the Lord  will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain. Always, whatsoever ye do, do it to the glory of God. Amem !  What is the Bible referring to in 1 Corinthians 3:17 when it declares that God will destroy the man who defiles his body? Does this mean that if we smoke, drink, or take drugs and destroy our bodies that God will destroy us?  The Bible is not saying that God will destroy Christians as a result of them not taking care of their bodies. Unfortunately, Christians who abuse themselves physically are destroying their own bodies. Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are, read 1 Cor. 3:9-10, 12-17? Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Diligence !

Good morning,
The word for today is -  Diligence !

A diligent person pays attention to the details, to make sure everything stays on track. Read 2 Timothy 2:15,Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. The Bible tells us that we should hide God's word in our hearts read Deuteronomy 11:18; Psalm 119:11; Colossians 3:16. Look at 2 Peter 1:10, Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall. Look at Proverbs 13:4,The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing: but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat. Read also, Proverbs 12:24,The hand of the diligent shall bear rule: but the slothful shall be under tribute.Let's think about this, are you giving everything up to move forward to follow Christ? If we mean to follow Christ, we must lay aside the thoughts of things in the world. Look at Luke 9:59-62, And he said unto another, Follow me. But he said, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father. Jesus said unto him, Let the dead bury their dead: but go thou and preach the kingdom of God. And another also said, Lord, I will follow thee; but let me first go bid them farewell, which are at home at my house. And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God. Do you see that some seemed to have worldly concerns more upon there heart than following Christ. Those who begin with the work of God, must resolve to go on, or they will make nothing of it. Looking back, leads to drawing back, and drawing back is to perdition. He only that endures to the end shall be saved. The definition of diligence, conscientiousness in paying proper attention to a task; giving the degree of care required in a given situation;a diligent effort; persevering determination to perform a task. The word from God tells us in Proverbs 4:23, Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. Did you get that ? The mind from vanity, the understanding from error, that nothing hurtful enters, or evil comes out; it is to be kept by all manner of means that can be thought of, by prayer, hearing, reading, meditation; and, above all, by applying to Christ for his grace and Spirit to sanctify, preserve, and keep it. Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Double!

Good morning,
The word for today is -  Double!

Let's look at James 1:8,A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. It says all his way !  Read Matthew 14:31,  And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt? Do you see ( Peter) have very little faith?  He does not say, O thou unbeliever or, O thou who hast no faith, for some faith he had, though but little. The weakness of faith, and the prevailing of our doubts, displease our Lord , for there is no good reason why Christ's disciples should be of a doubtful mind. Are you a disciple? Even in a stormy day he is to us a very present help.Let's look at Matthew 28:17,  And when they saw him, they worshipped him, but some doubted. The (disciples) "they worshipped Him, but some were doubtful." "Double minded" has been translated by some as "double soul." Let's look at the danger of being double-minded, it's someone who is divided in his interests or loyalties, wavering, uncertain. Warning concerns the double minded hearing of God's Word read James chapter 1. He shows that double mindedness can creep into our attitude, and he ( James)  admonishes his readers in James 1:22, But to be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves." Let's look at double minded faith, it's believing in God without performing the actions, or the "works," that reflect that belief. Read James chapter 2. James challenges us to show tangible evidence of our beliefs: "Show me your faith without works, and I will show you my faith by my works."  Belief is not enough, he says. "Even the demons believe and tremble!" The bible tells us, faith without works is dead. Before speaking the words that flow from our mouth we should examine the thoughts of our minds and hearts for as Jesus said in Matthew 12:34, O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. The double minded man is actually dishonest with themselves and others, and appears to use truth and lies in whatever situation to benefit themselves in some way. All the things that God hates, duplicity of mind and hypocrisy are named many times in the Scriptures. Some things that cause us to be double minded and take our focus off of God, these idols can be a person, organization, activity , position on a job, money, possessions, self-importance,quite simply  earthly things. The end result is destruction. Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Heal !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Heal !

The word translated “healed” can mean either spiritual or physical healing. Jesus focused upon healing people, both physically and emotionally, throughout his ministry.Let's look at James 5:14-15,  "Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him." Do you see that it says? "If he have committed sins."  Also, let's look at  Jesus healed a man blind from birth, his disciples asked him,  Master, who did sin this man or his parents that he was born blind? Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him." So we see another instance where there was a reason other than sin for an ailment.  Let's  look at Matthew 9:22, Mark 5:34, Luke 8:48 , Jesus said to the woman who touched his garment: "Thy faith hath made thee whole." Did you get that? her faith made her healed. You must believe that you are healed.Often times people are physically healed when they place their faith in Christ, but this is not always the case. Sometimes it is God’s will to heal, sometimes it is not.  According to the Bible, healing is not limited to individuals. Read  Revelation 22:2 ,In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve  manner of  fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree  were  for the healing of the nations. talks about the "healing of the nations. Let's look at 1 Peter 2:24 says, “He himself bore our sins in His body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by His wounds you have been healed.” The verse is talking about sin and righteousness, not sickness and disease. Our full physical healing awaits us in Heaven. In Heaven, there will be no more pain, sickness, disease, suffering, or death read Revelation chapter 21. We could focus our minds and hearts on heaven,  where we will no longer have to deal with physical problems, read Revelation 21:4, “He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” If we heed God’s instructions, we have an overall greater chance of being healthy. Avoiding drunkenness and sex outside of marriage, controlling our anger, having a forgiving spirit, and constantly meditating on His word all have a beneficial effect on our health. Just as overdrinking and gluttony caused many of the Corinthians to be ill and die read 1 Corinthians 13, disregarding God’s principles can have dire consequences. God hasn't promised us physical healing in this dispensation but He has given us much more , eternal spiritual blessings which can never be taken away.  We can stand fast in the Lord. Where is your hope? Our hopes pull us in one direction; our fears pull us the opposite direction; and we are pulled apart! If you have ever really worried, you know how it does strangle a person! In fact, worry has definite physical consequences, headaches, neck pains, ulcers, even back pains. Worry affects our thinking, our digestion, and even our coordination. Let’s look at Philippians 4:6-7, Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;  and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Leader !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Leader !

The world says, "lead because you've got what it takes. You've got the skills, the charisma and you've got the drive. You go out there and make it happen, because it's all about you .No! In Galatians 2:20, "It is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me. If we are to lead effectively and faithfully, we must follow Jesus first, die to self, and let Jesus have control in order that others see who is leading us.  God calls certain people into leadership positions read 1 Samuel 9:16,Tomorrow about this time I (the Lord) will send thee a man out of the land of Benjamin, and thou shalt anoint him to be captain over my people Israel, that he may save my people out of the hand of the Philistines: for I have looked upon my people, because their cry is come unto me. I'm talking about the call to leadership by God, not by man. Amen ! In fact, leadership is one of the many roles that is necessary for the Body of Christ to function well  read Romans 12:4-8. What it takes to be a good leader?  Leaders are responsible for how well they do their  jobs and are accountable to God for leading God's people. Leaders were needed from the very beginning, when Moses led God's people out of Egypt through the desert for 40 years and then to the Promised Land. The Bible defines many good qualities for leaders. In Exodus 18, Moses' father-in-law tells Moses to "select capable men from all the people, men who fear God, trustworthy men who hate dishonest gain" for leadership positions read Exodus 18:21, Moreover thou shalt provide out of all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place such over them, to be rulers of thousands, and rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens.. Those in leadership positions bear a heavy burden. They are to serve as examples to those who they are leading by living in faith and by modeling a way of life that they want the people to exhibit , read Hebrews 13:7, Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.. Let's look at Proverbs 16:9, A man's heart deviseth his way: but the Lord directeth his steps. Father, I ask you today to order my steps in your word. Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Hand !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Hand !

Let's look at Psalm 16:8, I have set the Lord always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. The more we soak up the truth of God’s Word, the more assured we become that He really is going to take care of us. The important thing to remember in the midst of the chaos is that God is in control.Read Isaiah 41:10, Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed: for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee: yea,I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.Let's look at 1 Peter 5:6,Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time. Why are you here?   You are here because God made you and created you. You are not some accident of nature. You are the result of God’s creative work. God used parents to bring you into the world, but this does not change the fact that God created you and God has a purpose for you. There are some people who do not know who their biological parents are, but they should  know who their Creator is. God knew just who your parents would be. God knew everything about you long before you were ever born. Is there any reason as to why you are here in this world? Yes ! Is there any purpose for you? Yes ! Is there any place for you? Yes ! God had a reason and a purpose for creating you. God has a plan for you. God has a job for you and a place for you. And God has made you and designed you so that you can fulfill your job and your purpose. God has a place for every believer in the body of Christ. Every member of the body is needed and every member is important. Every believer has an important place in the body of Christ. Let's look at Ephesians 4:16, From whom the whole, body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.Did you not know that we are knit together? Also who did it? our Father, our  Lord and Savior.  Every believer has something important to contribute. Every believer has an important part to play and an important job to do. When Joseph was young he was completely separated from his family and from his father's love, read Genesis 37:28; 39:1. Was Joseph separated from God’s love? No ! Did God still have a plan and purpose for Joseph and a job for him to do? Yes ! And God has the same for us ( the believers). Every believer is a child of God forever. It is a love relationship that never ends.  It is a forever relationship for eternal life. This is true security. Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - First !

Good morning,
The word for today is - First !

First,to read and understand the Bible is to know that only God can open the hearts and minds of people to the Truth. For His children (the believers) are living in the last days, He prepares them for what’s to come as they prepare for His coming. He does not leave His children ( the believers) ignorant as to His plans for this world. He tells us first in Ecclesiastes 1:9, The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun. Did you get that? believe His word. Does your love belong to the Lord  first?  Has He absolute priority in your life?  Does everything else in your life come after Him?  What does the Bible mean by first love? The Bible ask us about our first love for Jesus. It is talking about whether our love for Jesus has first place in our life. “First love” does not necessarily mean the love we had for Jesus at the beginning of our Christian lives.  At the beginning of our relationship there is the phase of “falling in love,” which later changes to the phase of “being in love.” True love changes, but not in the sense that it decreases. This shows us that true love is more than just a romantic feeling. When passion and love for Jesus decline, we have  lost our first love for Him. God wants our undivided love. Let's look at one of the Pharisees who was a lawyer, asking Jesus a  question (testing him),in Matthew 22:36, Master (teacher) which is the great commandment in the law? Read Matthew 22:37-38, Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. He does not only want our praise but the undivided devotion of the whole person who turns to Him in love.He must have first place in our lives. He showed us in a very radical way that this first love for Him is absolutely essential when He said in Matthew 10:37,  “He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me” . If we let anyone or anything else come before our first love, then He ( Jesus) is no longer the first love, but the second, or even the third. Let's look at the words of Jesus, read, Revelation 2:4-5, The Lord Jesus said to the Church at Ephesus, “Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent”The first love was gone and so the church of Ephesus was in danger of losing her light. The Lord made it clear what true discipleship is when He uttered these earnest words in Luke 14:33, “Whoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple”. The words of Jesus, “I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.” The first love was gone and so the church of Ephesus was in danger of losing her light. Hold on to your first love, don't let your light go out. Who is first in your life?Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Servant !

Good Morning,
The word for today is - Servant !

Let's look at John 13:12-17,So after he had washed their feet, and had taken his garments, and was set down again, he said unto them, Know ye what I have done to you? Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am. If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet. For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you. Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him.If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them.Christ washed his disciples' feet, that he might signify to them the value of spiritual washing, and the cleansing of the soul from the pollutions of sin. Our Lord Jesus has a people in the world that are his own; he has purchased them, and paid dear for them, and he has set them apart for himself; they devote themselves to him as a peculiar people. Those whom Christ loves, he loves to the end. Nothing can separate a true believer from the love of Christ. When we see our Master serving, why would you not serve others? Are you greater then your Father (God)? No!Read James 2:26,For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.True believing is not an act of the understanding only, but a work of the whole heart. Read Matthew 20:26-28, But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant: Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many. The Lord tells us to serve one another. Read 1 Corinthians 15:58,Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. Read Galatians 5:13, For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. Let's look at Romans12:10, Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another. Also, in  Ephesians 6:7,With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men. The duty of servants is summed up in one word, obedience. The greatest leader of all time is Jesus Christ, for even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many. Thank you God for your word. Amen!

The word for today is -Study !

Good morning,
The word for today is -Study !

Let's look at the first step,Those who would learn the things of God, and be assured of them, must know the Holy Scriptures, for they are the Divine revelation. Read 2 Timothy 3:16-17,All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. Those who would get true learning, must get it out of the Scriptures for all need to be taught, corrected, and reproved. We all need the knowledge of the word of truth. We need to know, What does God's Word Say? Amen! The Bible is the sound and voice of God, the Bible assist you in your journey of understanding God's heart. Let's look at Romans 10:8-11, But what saith it ? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is , the word of faith, which we preach ; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved . For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.  For the scripture saith , Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. A True Believer is expected to do more than just claim to be a believer. A True believer is not just a state of mind, it's a way of life. The word tells us if "Ye are the salt of the earth (see Are You Salty?): but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men." "Ye are the light of the world." "A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works (see Works Means Obedience), and glorify your Father which is in heaven." Read 2 Timothy 2:15, Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. But strifes of words destroy the things of God.  We have to be approved unto God, not mankind, speak only the sound from God ( His word) .We must see to it that we are speaking the truth, the word of God only!  We must ,trust in the Lord with all our heart. Read Proverbs 3:1-2,My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:  For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee. Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Overcomers !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Overcomers !

Most people are so used to carrying the burden of stress.Unfortunately,it keeps people up at night.Much of the stress that people carry springs from the fact that they don't know who they are or where there are going. Let's look at 1 John 4:18,There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. God created each of us with a special purpose in mind. There is something that needs to be done on this earth that can only be done by you. The trials we face in this world will either break us or make us strong. The Bible says that when everything else is stripped away, only three things remain: faith, hope, and love. And that love is the greatest of the three. The word tells us in Philippians 4:6-7,Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.  Let's look at Romans 8:28,And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Did you get that? Only,to them that love God ! In Romans 8: 36-39,As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter (we are His sheep).Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.  He is our Father! Read Romans chapter 8 ! We are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit of Christ Jesus. God wants us to be blessed, joyful, fulfilled and happy.  He wants us to enjoy life and have life more abundantly. Read Romans 12:21, Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good. When you know how much God loves you then you will learn to like and love yourself.  Become rooted and grounded in God’s love so you will be at peace with everybody and happy with yourself. We are overcomers "by the blood of the lamb and the word of our testimony." In 1 John 5:4, For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.Who are the overcomers? Us the believers. It's in 1 John 5:5,Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Draw !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Draw !

Let's look at John 12:32, And I (Jesus), if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. Who are you lifting up? Is it the name Jesus? Read Matthew 16:24,Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. Who are you following? Is it Jesus ? or the word from mankind? Read John 3:14,And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up. So, by the voice of God, they that were dead shall be raised to life (This is talking about Spirit). For, God is a Spirit.. As the serpent was raised up, so shall Christ be lifted up: as they who were stung by the fiery serpents were restored by looking up to the brazen serpent, so those who are infected with and dying through sin are healed and saved, by looking up to and believing in Christ crucified. Read James 4:8,Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. The spirit of the world teaches us to lay up, or lay out for ourselves, according to our own fancies; God the Holy Spirit teaches us to be willing to do good to all around us, as we are able.Look at Romans 8:28,And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.Whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son.Whom he called, them he also justified.Whom he justified, them he also glorified. A true disciple of Christ is one that walks the same way Christ walked by the Spirit.Thank you God for your word . Amen !

The word for today is - Day !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Day !

We all have days when the last thing we want to do is rejoice. Days when our situation is out of control, are mood is low, and we are feeling overwhelmed with worry, guilt, doubt or grief. How did you start your day this morning? Let's read Psalm 118:24, This  is  the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. It doesn't say maybe be glad if we decide to be. It says rejoice and be glad, period.  No reasoning allowed? If you wake up and God has giving you another day, if cloudy, rainy, snowy, or sunny, Rejoice! Do you not know that today is a gift from the Lord? You didn't ask for it, it is giving to us. Read Lamentations 3:23,They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. When you don't feel like rejoicing, tell God how you truly feel. You will find that God will give you a reason to rejoice.  We need to always be honest with God. And as we talked to God, our prayers end in praise. God has given you this day to live and to serve him, be glad! Are you walking by faith or by sight? We have the assurance that in the storms of life today, Jesus Himself  is with us, He is standing at the door waiting to be invited in.We are not alone. What is your need today? Do you need comfort in your personal trials? Christ is waiting, What will you depend on for your needs today? Read Matthew 6:31-32, Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. To carry God's Word in our hearts through memorization, to be ready to face any problem, every difficulty, and whatsoever challenge that life can send our way today. Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Humility !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Humility !

Let's look at  Philippians 2: 5-8, Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Did you get that? Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of the mind let each of you regard one another as more important than himself; do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others. Read Matthew 23:And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted (lifted up) by God.  A humble person is someone who does not boast or is not self serving. Humble people are easily liked, very approachable and easy to get along with. Nothing will draw people to you quicker and easier than being able to talk and express yourself to other people in the exact same way that Jesus did. Let's look at  Jesus Christ, the model of humility. Jesus certainly modeled true humility, and from his example we learn that humility is putting the will of God before our own will.Read Matthew 11:29,Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. Jesus told a parable about one way that humble people act: they take the least important seats at a feast. Read Luke  chapter 14. This parable has a happy ending. The humble person did not vie for an important seat, but the host noticed him and invited him to move up to a more honored place. However, we all know that does not happen very often.  The humble person recognizes that he or she is a servant to everyone and is comfortable with the seating and the people he or she is close to. In contrast, the person who is not humble, but prideful and self-important, is upset at the company close by and wants to be with “more important” people. Can we past the test? Committing to a lifestyle of daily dying to self and living through Him is the foundation for true humility. Read Matthew chapter 18, Forgiveness is possibly one of the greatest acts of humility we can do. To forgive is to acknowledge a wrong that has been done to us and also to further release our right of repayment for the wrong. Forgiveness is denial of self. Let's look at James 1:19,Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath.  Let's look at Luke 23:34 ,Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots. When he was crucified between the two thieves, and as he hung upon the cross, and while insulted and abused by all sorts of men, and put to the greatest pain and torture, he addressed himself to God his Father. The prayer was offered for those who were guilty of putting him to death. Can we walk in humility? The word tells us,Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everybody.  Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Tongue !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Tongue !

If more people would learn how to walk and abide in the revelation and knowledge and learn how to express themselves in a more positive and godly manner to others, then the world would be a better place. The first thing that God is trying to tell all of us is that we have a certain amount of “power” in our tongues. Our tongue is referring to the verbal words that we speak out of our mouths to other people. You can either choose to learn how to speak and release positive words of love, encouragement and edification to other people in your own personal dealings with them, or you can choose to release negative words of condemnation, criticism, coldness and harshness. The choice is yours! The very first verse I will list below is the one that will tell us that death and life are in the power of the tongue. Let's look at Proverbs 18:21,  “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit. Read Proverbs 15:4,“A wholesome tongue is a tree of life, but perverseness in it breaks the spirit.” ”Many people have had all of their healthy sense of self-respect, self-worth and self-confidence beat right out of them as a result of all the verbal abuse they have had to put up with from their verbally, abusive families, personal friendships, and in the workplace. Jesus has already told us that those who will live by the sword will also die by the sword.  We have to take a stand and tell the truth even if it means initially hurting or offending someone. Read Proverbs 27:5,"Open rebuke is better than love carefully concealed. Faithful are the wounds of a friend, but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.” Also read Ephesians 4:25,29,“Therefore, putting away lying, each one speak truth with his neighbor, for we are members of one another. Also, let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.” The opposite of love is not hate, it is indifference. We should “speak to others in the way that we would want them to speak to us.”We should treat others like we would want them to treat us. The word of God tells us in Matthew 12:36, “But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.” Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Father !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Father !

God the Father , who is boss over everyone. God the Father has never submitted Himself to the will of another. But, Jesus has submitted Himself to the will of the Father. Jesus spent a lot of time praying. He often went to a solitary place and prayed for hours at a time, especially at difficult times in His ministry . We need to spent more time with our Heavenly Father.  The word of God says in Luke 11:9, And I (Jesus) say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. If you don't ask, then you receive not! Read Matthew 14:23, 26:36-41, Mark 1:35, Luke 5:16, 6:12. The famous Lord's Prayer is Jesus' model of the perfect prayer.Read Matthew 6:9, Jesus said, This is how you should pray: 'Our Father which art  in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.' This is the order of Prayer, Father what is your will for my life, not my way. The word from God is I ( Jesus) know the plans I (Jesus) have for you.Read Matthew6:32,(For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. Let's look at Luke2:49, And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father's business? Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. If only we will trust in him. Jesus, He died for us,  He laid down his life for us, the love of the Father.  Some view love as a feeling, but it is more than that. It is a decision followed by action. Read John 13:34, 35, Jesus said, "If you love me, keep my commandments." and "a new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." Do you see ( If you) do this ?  Your one of His disciples. It's the word of God. Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Humble!

Good morning, ( One year ago Haiti's - earthquake). The capital in ruins and is estimated to have killed more than 230,000 people. In the days after the Jan. 12, 2010 disaster, volunteers and hundreds of aid groups flocked in with food, water and first aid that saved countless lives. But the effort to rebuild has been dwarfed by the extent of the need and a lack of leadership, both in Haiti and internationally.

The word for today is - Humble!

Christians are taught that they should live just as Christ Himself lived.Being humble is something that is a must for anybody who says they are a believer, the Bible cannot be more clear about this. Jesus spoke about the importance of being humble. Let's look at , Every time you say the Lord's Prayer, which Christ taught us, you humble yourself before God ("Thy will be done"). Jesus humbled himself again in the Garden of Gethsemane, when he again submitted to the will of the Father. As Phillipians 2:8 states, "He humbled Himself and became obedient to death, even death on a cross."Jesus is the ultimate example of a person being humble.  You also need to remember to be humble when dealing with your relationships with friends and family. No matter how upset you may get with these people, never forget 1 Corinthians 13:4, Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up.  Love does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud..Read  Ephesians !   Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as Christ forgave you. God created us to love. First love Him, and then love one another. The Bible says, in 1 Corinthians 13, that; Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Thank you God for your word . Amen !

The word for today is - Understanding !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Understanding !

Let's read Hosea 4:6, My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. The Bible says in the book of Proverbs all you have, get understanding. The first thing we need is understanding. The first step of understanding is to have one's eyes opened and be turned from darkness to light. Let's read Acts 26:18, To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me. It is not good that the soul be without knowledge. The fear of the Lord  is the beginning of knowledge. Let's look at  Proverbs 9:10,  The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy is understanding. Read Proverbs 22:6,The Bible says, Train up  a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart  from it. This is awesome,it comes from the Holy Spirit. For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.  Let's look at Proverbs 10:13, In the lips of him that hath understanding wisdom is found: but a rod is for the back of him that is void of understanding. All Scripture is God's breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. It's in the word  let's read 2 Timothy 3: 16, All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. It also says in  Romans 12:2, And be not conformed to this world ( to the pattern of this world), but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.  Then you will be able to know what God's will is.Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Live !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Live !

Let's look at Acts17:28,For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring. When Peter repeats the Lord's words in 1 Peter 1:16,Because it is written, Be ye holy: for I am holy. He is talking specifically to believers. As believers, we need to be "set apart" from the world unto the Lord. We need to be living by God's standards, not the world's. God’s holiness pervades His entire being and shapes are all His attributes. His love is a holy love, His mercy is a holy mercy, and even His anger and wrath, they are holy anger and holy wrath. These concepts are difficult for humans to grasp, just as God is difficult for us to understand in His entirety. Let's read Romans1:16-17,For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth: to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. We all need a relationship with the living God. The word tells us,in 1 John 2:15  Love not the world, neither the things  that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him..We are to live according to God's Word . Amen !Let's look at Solomon  the wisest man who ever lived,He says that life is all about honoring God with our thoughts and lives and thus keeping His commandments, for one day we will stand before Him in judgment. Part of our purpose in life is to fear God and obey Him.The purpose of man life is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever. Jesus taught that we should, seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. That’s a promise that we can surely bank on.The  purpose for our lives is for us to experience the abundant life that He desires for us. Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Message!

Good morning,
The word for today is - Message!

The word of God is the message from God to us, this is the plan and order for life. Do you want to live or die? Read the message (the word) it's life! The message of God through Jeremiah was primarily for the people of Judah. He told them that God would destroy the nation because of their sins.  Jeremiah is known as the "weeping prophet" because of his love for his native land. After the fall of Jerusalem he is credited with writing all or part of the book of Lamentations. In that book he shows his great sorrow that his people would not listen to his message, and therefore received punishment. Let's look at  Exodus chapter 9,God gave Pharaoh numerous opportunities to observe Moses’ warnings. God impelled Moses back to Pharaoh with this (message) demand, “Let my people go!” Moses may have been tired and discouraged, but he continued to obey. Is there a difficult conflict you must face repeatedly? Don’t give up, don’t quit, when you know what is right to do. The Jeremiah message is that we learn the value of obeying God in the face of persecution Read Isaiah 28,Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand ( explain the message) doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. This is what the message (the word) does it transforms your way of thinking. Read Romans 12:2, And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Communication !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Communication !

Let's look at Matthew 11:15,Jesus tells us, "He that hath ears to hear, let him hear!" Does Poor Communication Affect a Relationship? Yes! The effects of poor communication on a relationship can threaten the existence of a relationship itself. Let's look at  Proverbs 19:27,Cease, my son, to hear the instruction that causeth to err from the words of knowledge. The further a relationship is allowed to deteriorate because of poor communication, the more difficult it is to regain trust and return the relationship to what it once was. Do you know that listening is fundamental to your growth, according to the Bible? It's not saying your way of thinking, Let's read  Proverbs 18:15, The heart of the prudent getteth knowledge: and the ear of the wise seeketh knowledge. Did you get that? Communication is the key, read Proverbs 18: 20, A man's belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled.  This is asking us, what are you producing out of your mouth? Is it death or life? How powerful is the tongue? Read Proverbs 18:21, Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. You must let no unwholesome word come out of your mouth. Let's look at Ephesians 4:29, Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. Read verses 30-32, always speak with love. The word tells us in Ephesians 5:1-2, Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.Communication is very important. Communication is more than just our ability to talk, but also to listen. First, As we communicate with God, the first part of that communication is listening. In order to fully understand God’s communication with us, we must be diligent to read, study, memorize and meditate on His Word.  God speaks to all believers through the vehicle of the Bible,it's in 2 Timothy 3:16,All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness; which is all we need to equip us for life,  Secondly, how we communicate with one another, the best way to be sure what comes from our mouths is pure is to be aware of what is in our hearts. Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Relationship !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Relationship !

The Bible does describe three kinds of relationships with the opposite sex and gives certain characteristics of each relationship. Let's look at Proverbs it gives several characteristics of friends and friendships. Proverbs 17: 17 says, “A friend loveth at all times.” Proverbs 18: 24 says, A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother. Proverbs 27: 5-6 says,  Open rebuke is better than secret love. Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful. When a friend rebukes you, that rebuke can be trusted.Friendship involves three foundational elements, commitment to fulfill the responsibility of a friend, care and concern for the welfare of your friend, and affection. Do you not know we are brothers and sisters in Christ,God is our Father. God desires that we serve one another in love by giving of ourselves to help each other grow in Him.  Brothers and sisters relationships in Christ involve two foundational elements, commitment to fulfill the responsibility of a believer in Christ and care and concern for the believer. We are to do what ? Read  Galatians 5: 13 says, but by love serve one another. Let's look at marriage, it is a relationship between a man and a woman that binds them together. Genesis 2:24 says, Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother and shall cleave unto his wife, and they shall be one flesh. Our Father deeply loves and desires that we show love to each other. We need a strong  foundation in all Relationships. We need a solid foundation on which to build on, the word of God. Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Yoke !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Yoke !

Let's look at Matthew,11:29-30, Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.  The yoke of Jesus is the yoke of repentance and faith followed by a singular commitment to follow him. The good news is that Jesus promises to all that come to him that he will give them rest. Rest from what? Rest from the heavy burden of trying to earn one’s way into heaven. This is talking about works. Rest from the oppressive yoke of self-righteousness. Jesus encourages those who are “heavy laden” to take his yoke upon them and in so doing they will find rest for their souls. It means that no matter how heavy our burdens may be turn them over to Jesus. Do you carry a heavy load? Give it to Jesus, that is the only way to find peace. Jesus doesn't care what you look like, or what car you drive, or how much money you have or what you wear. God looks at the heart of man, this is what He wants, your heart. Ask youself, Who will love me unconditionally? Jesus !  What makes Jesus’ yoke easy and his burden light is that in Jesus’ active obedience ( his perfect fulfillment of the Law of God), he carried the burden that we were meant to carry. Thank you Jesus ! All you need to do is call Him up, it is easy anyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. He will in no way cast you out if you call on him. We have a sound in us that He (Jesus) wants to hear, He(Jesus) knows you troubles of this world. He is greater then the world and He is more then the world. You must believe in Him first. When you acknowledge you don't have the answers, but recognize He does call Him. God  always has our best interest in mind, He wants the best for us. Are you willing to take the first step? The first step is to acknowledge Jesus as Lord and savior. There is no other way,Jesus Christ Himself proclaimed that He is the only way to God.  Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Need !

Good morning,
The word for today is -  Need !

The important thing to remember in the midst of the “financial crisis” is that God is in control. Let's look at Philippians 4:19, But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. We have to trusting God in the midst of good or bad circumstances. He is going to take care of his children, He is our Father. Notice the above verse says “All" it doesn’t say “some” or “most,” but it says that He will supply all your needs. But the bottom line is that God is faithful and He does what He promises. Are we faithful to Him?  We must be willing to give all we have if need be, just as Christ did. We are to be givers also, meeting the needs of other people and the church. That's why we are to give are best to help ours. Read  Malachi 3:8-10,Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation. Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. Although we should do what we can to ensure that the churches and ministries we give to are good stewards of God's money, we can't always know for certain that the money we give will be spent correctly. We should not be overly burdened with this concern. Nor should we use this as an excuse not to give.  It's important for us to find a good church that is wisely managing its financial resources for God's glory and for the growth of God's kingdom. But once we give to God, we don't need to worry about what happens to the money. This is God's problem to resolve. If a church leader or ministry misuses its funds, God knows how to deal with it and them.  We rob God when we fail to give offerings to him. Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Worrying !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Worrying !

We are told reasons not to worry, (Worrying accomplishes absolutely nothing). Worrying is the opposite of Trusting God. Do you believe that you can do something greater then God? Let's look at  Hebrews 13: 8, Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever. This is telling us that Jesus does not change. It  means that God lives up to His promises ( His word). There are instances where God changed his mind  because of the responses of His people.Read 2 Peter 3:9, The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.Worrying puts your focus in the wrong direction.Read Philippians 4:6-7, Be careful for nothing, but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Did you get that ? Do you have the peace of God (His word) ? Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?Read Numbers 23:19, God is not a man, that he should lie, neither the son of man, that he should repent; hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? The Bible tells the believers to “test everything” against the standard of the Bible and  then keep only the good things.Read 1Thessalonians 5:21,Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. James 1:17, Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. Why are you worrying ? Worrying should not be a part of a believer's life, give it to Jesus. No worry is too big or too small .God, tells us to give Him all of our worries and concerns. Read In 1 Peter 5:7, we are instructed to “casting all your care (anxiety)  upon him ; for he careth for you. Read Matthew 6:34,"Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. Also, Matthew 6:27, Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? This means, you can do nothing with out God !! Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Fellowship !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Fellowship !

Fellowship is one of God's principle purposes for human beings. Okay, none of us have perfect families, but the family unit was intended by God to provide us with daily fellowship. For people who have received Christ as their personal Lord and Savior, their "family" extends beyond the limits of what most people consider as family. Let's look at Romans 12:5,So we being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another. It is actually for our own good that God want us in fellowship with other believers.  We need each other to grow. Believers, are members of God's family, and there are millions of people in that family, so we now have many new brothers and sisters who are related to us by the blood, Jesus' blood. We don't become God's children until we are adopted, through faith in Christ. Let's look at Ephesians 1:5, Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will. We are to encourage one another as members of Christ’s body.  Read 1Corinthians 12:12, For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. Also, read verse 14, For the body is not one member, but many.Together we fulfill an important purpose on the Earth.Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Whole !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Whole !

To know God's will, we need to study God's Scriptures. In it His character is revealed to us. In it only truth, God's truth can be found. We can trust God's Word, it's the only source that will never lie to us. Let's look at Psalm 119:89,For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven( is eternal; it stands firm ). It is vitally important that we consider the Whole Word of God.  Read John 5:7-9,  The impotent man answered him (Jesus), Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me.  Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.  And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath. It appears that it is God's will for us to be made whole (Spirit, Soul and Body).Let's look at Ephesians 6:17:   And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. We are to rightly divide the Word of Truth. We are to keep the meaning when reading the Bible. We are to read on in the chapter to see what the Holy Spirit is trying to teach us. Preach the Word and read the Word, the whole Word, not pick and choose verses. The Bible is a book that is to be read completely,  Old and New Testament. We cannot pick and choose. God intended us to read All of it. This is how we will know when someone is not preaching the whole Word of God, by knowing  the Scriptures.Read Hebrews 4:12: For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. We need to line everything up with the Word of God. Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Ashamed !

Happy New Year"s !!!!!!!!!!!
The word for today is - Ashamed !

Did you know that when Jesus was still living here on earth, there were people ashamed of Him? Did you know that still today there are people who are ashamed of Jesus?  Read  Mark 8:38,Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.Did you get that? Judas was ashamed of Jesus. He was at one time a follower of Christ and even an apostle,Luke 6:13-16. However, there came a time when he betrayed Jesus, Matthew 26:14-16, 47-49. Read Psalm 31:1,In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in thy righteousness. Read verse3, For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name's sake lead me, and guide me. This is a New Year who is leading you? What Spirit? Read Romans1:16,For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth: to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. Why would you be ashamed of the one who saved you? We are justified freely, read Romans 3:24-25, Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. It's in His blood,Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God.  Let's look at John 3:5, Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. You can not enter into the Kingdom with out the Spirit of God in you (the Holy Spirit).  Let's look at Nicodemus , he was afraid, or ashamed to be seen with Christ, therefore came in the night. Is there anyone or anything that has you living in shame? or ashamed to be seen with you? It's a New Year,We must be entirely different from what we were before (last year), we cannot be the same ( the same way of thinking) with that which was before.  A good man or woman acts truly and sincerely in all he or she does (the heart). What hurts the most is a friend or even a relative who did something you would never expect this person to do and it made you ashamed ,that hurts the most. On the other hand we need renewed hearts,by the Holy Ghost and the commanding principle (love). Thank you God for loving us, and never being ashamed to show yourself in us (the Holy Spirit). The word in Matthew 10:33,But whosoever shall deny me before men; him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.Do you not know that the Holy Spirit (dwells) in you? Thank you God for your word. Amen !
