The word for today is - New !

 

Jesus tells us in the book of John that you must be born again. Some people may be thinking why? Because man is created in the image of God.  So,how is this possible? It is impossible with man, but with God all things are possible,read Matthew 19:25-26,When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved? But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible. We are born spiritual dead, one must be born again, because of Adam's disobedience. You must believe in Him and His word,read John 1:12-13,But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.This birth is Spiritual. The word of God says, He will put in us a New Spirit to live by and take away the old way of thinking, read Ezekiel 36:26,A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh. This is done by His grace ! Read 2 Corinthians 5:17, Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creation: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.We have a mandate to fulfill, God's word, to preach the gospel to the nations, Read 1 Peter 1:20-26,Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you. When you hear the gospel and believe what you heard, then something takes place within you.The old man dies and the new birth (man)comes alive, read Romans 6:6,Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. We live because of the Love of Christ Jesus, read Ephesians 2:4-7,But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. Our Heavenly Father, we thank you for your love toward us! Read John 15:13,Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !
