The word for today is - Power !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Power !

Lets look at the power thats in the tongue, read  Proverbs 18:21,Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. Jesus warned us that our words are so important, read Matthew 12:36-37,But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned. Some believers have experienced problems and misfortune, or fail to get answers to their prayers, because of their mouth sins. Using their tongue to ridicule, gossip about, or to slander their brothers and sisters is clearly sin. James gave a warning of the evil poison of the tongue. He described some who try to use their tongue as praise and blessing to God, then turn around to use their tongue to speak evil of one another. “With it we bless our God and Father, and with it rue curse men, who have been made in the similitude of God," "Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing". Read Psalm 15:1-3,Lord, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill? He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart. He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour.Paul says to the believers to disallow any corrupt or worthless talk to come from our mouth. Only those things which lift-up, encourage, and are gracious should be expressed to others.Read Ephesians 4:29,Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. It says to build up others, encourage others in love. We need to speak over ourself in prayer, ask the Holy Spirit to help you. What do you pray for? Read Psalm 19:14,Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.Did you get that, ask the Lord to change that heart also! Now read, Psalm 51:9-10,Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. A clean heart is the Spirit of love. So,put away all unclean talk, read 1 Peter 2:1-2,Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings,As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby. This is a daily walk, keep asking the Holy Spirit to help you from speaking ungodly things.    Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today - Law !

Good morning,
The word for today - Law !

Some people will obey and some will not obey the law of the land. The word says, let every person be subject to the Law, its in the word . God is so awesome that He tells us in the word don't resist my words, you will feel the wrath of God, but the law of God will save you, obey my word love one another. Read John 3:17,For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. Thats true love ! You see God did not send His One and Only Son to  judge, or pronounce sentence on mankind, He delayed it. But get this, one day we all will stand before Him, although Jesus did not come then to condemn mankind, yet the time is coming when he will return to judge the living and the dead. Do not miss that word, He did not come (Then) to condemn mankind, He is coming back. Its in Acts 17:31, Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead. This judgement is for all the Jews and Gentiles. Lets read Romans 13:1-9, Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake. For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing. Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour. Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. Obey my word says the Lord, repent! Read Luke 19:10, For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost. One of the main reasons the Bible was written was that humans might better understand the process of salvation. Now read 1 John 1:9, If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. There is a sound in you that the Lord needs to hear from you. Lets look at 1 Samuel 16:7, But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart. The Lord looks within, inward not outward first, you can dress up nice, but your heart is not right. Now read Mark 12:29-31,And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these. Now read 1 John 4:8, He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Forth !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Forth !

The question for many people is about the sabbath day.Read Mark chapter 3:1-6,And he entered again into the synagogue; and there was a man there which had a withered hand. And they watched him, whether he would heal him on the sabbath day; that they might accuse him. And he saith unto the man which had the withered hand, Stand forth. And he saith unto them, Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath days, or to do evil? to save life, or to kill? But they held their peace. And when he had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, he saith unto the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it out: and his hand was restored whole as the other. And the Pharisees went forth, and straightway took counsel with the Herodians against him, how they might destroy him. Now get this, Jesus ask a question,Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath days, or to do evil? Wow, think about that! Read Luke 6:1-2,And it came to pass on the second sabbath after the first, that he went through the corn fields; and his disciples plucked the ears of corn, and did eat, rubbing them in their hands. And certain of the Pharisees said unto them, Why do ye that which is not lawful to do on the sabbath days? Now get this,Jesus is speaking, Christ justifies his disciples in a work of necessity for themselves on the sabbath day, and that was plucking the ears of corn when they were hungry. But we must get understanding and not to mistake this liberty. Christ will have us to know and remember that it is his day, therefore to be spent in his service, and to give Him his honour. Also read Luke 6:8-10,But he knew their thoughts, and said to the man which had the withered hand, Rise up, and stand forth in the midst. And he arose and stood forth. Then said Jesus unto them, I will ask you one thing; Is it lawful on the sabbath days to do good, or to do evil? to save life, or to destroy it ? And looking round about upon them all, he said unto the man, Stretch forth thy hand. And he did so: and his hand was restored whole as the other. The key in all this is Luke 6:5, And he said unto them, That the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath. This tells us , I am the Lord today and forever more, I have power to do what I will. You have to understand He knew their thoughts, He knew they watched the healing of this man. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen!

The word for today is - Mandate !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Mandate !

We have an mandate, God gave to both man and woman the mandate, it is based in Genesis 1:28 which says, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” We are not to do anything immoral or that elevates man and dismisses God.The mandate is that we are to bring God’s truth to bear upon every area of human society, to politics, to government, to economics, to the schools, in our homes, and with our friends, all areas. Christianity is advanced through prayer and the proclamation of the gospel. It is this that we are commissioned to do. Read Matthew 28:18-20, And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. As Christ said, This is our mandate, we are caretakers of creation. It is not telling us to conquer the world. A godly culture is the result of godly belief and a heart transformed and subdued by the Word of God. Cultures change on a daily basis, but the Word of God endures forever. God doesn’t change, His word is forever. Now, there is a cultural mandate, though we must understand how the Bible defines culture and how cultures are changed. The kingdom of God is presently in the heart of a person and that is where it advances. The issue is always an inner transformation of the heart through faith in Christ. Now, if we live as hypocrites and fail to proclaim the true gospel we have fail. You see people get up and stay up to hear the news everyday, but the news that they are hearing is bad news. The word of God is good news , its a way out, so we have a command by God to preach, teach, and speak the good news everyday. God’s plan all along is that we would preach and speak the gospel, the good news! Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Revealing !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Revealing !

Lets look at Deuteronomy 29:29, The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law. Now, get this the revealing is for us to know something, and for us to get some understanding of the revealing. First, we must know that God is in control of everything. Read the book of Daniel's its a book of encouragement.  Daniel has a vision of the end, and God revealed Himself also to Daniel in a vision. Read Daniel 9:20-27,And whiles I was speaking, and praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my supplication before the LORD my God for the holy mountain of my God; Yea, whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation. And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, O Daniel, I am now come forth to give thee skill and understanding. At the beginning of thy supplications the commandment came forth, and I am come to shew thee; for thou art greatly beloved: therefore understand the matter, and consider the vision.Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy. Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times. And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. Also,God revealed Himself to Daniel in a vision. Now read Daniel 10:4-21, And in the four and twentieth day of the first month, as I was by the side of the great river, which is Hiddekel; Then I lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a certain man clothed in linen, whose loins were girded with fine gold of Uphaz: His body also was like the beryl, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and his feet like in colour to polished brass, and the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude. And I Daniel alone saw the vision: for the men that were with me saw not the vision; but a great quaking fell upon them, so that they fled to hide themselves. Therefore I was left alone, and saw this great vision, and there remained no strength in me: for my comeliness was turned in me into corruption, and I retained no strength. Yet heard I the voice of his words: and when I heard the voice of his words, then was I in a deep sleep on my face, and my face toward the ground. And, behold, an hand touched me, which set me upon my knees and upon the palms of my hands. And he said unto me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak unto thee, and stand upright: for unto thee am I now sent. And when he had spoken this word unto me, I stood trembling. Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words. But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia. Now I am come to make thee understand what shall befall thy people in the latter days: for yet the vision is for many days. And when he had spoken such words unto me, I set my face toward the ground, and I became dumb. And, behold, one like the similitude of the sons of men touched my lips: then I opened my mouth, and spake, and said unto him that stood before me, O my lord, by the vision my sorrows are turned upon me, and I have retained no strength. For how can the servant of this my lord talk with this my lord? for as for me, straightway there remained no strength in me, neither is there breath left in me. Then there came again and touched me one like the appearance of a man, and he strengthened me, And said, O man greatly beloved, fear not: peace be unto thee, be strong, yea, be strong. And when he had spoken unto me, I was strengthened, and said, Let my lord speak; for thou hast strengthened me. Then said he, Knowest thou wherefore I come unto thee? and now will I return to fight with the prince of Persia: and when I am gone forth, lo, the prince of Grecia shall come. But I will shew thee that which is noted in the scripture of truth: and there is none that holdeth with me in these things, but Michael your prince. When the Spirit of God reveal something to you, do not turn from it, ask the Holy Spirit to give you understanding or knowledge of the revealing. Read 1 Corinthians 2:6-10,Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought: But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Law !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Law !

God set boundaries on mankind by establishing ruling authorities that would make and enforce the laws He gave. The purpose for this was because He knew unregenerate society, without any restraints, would seek to destroy good men. God's desire is that all men would come to Him and live by His laws. Lets start with Luke 10:26-27, He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou? And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself. This is the law of God. Read Romans 13:1-7, Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. It is clear that as long as the law of the land does not contradict the law of God, we are bound to obey the law of the land. As soon as the law of the land contradicts God's command, we are to disobey the law of the land and obey God's law. However, even in that instance, we are to accept the government’s authority over us. This is demonstrated by the fact that Peter and John did not protest being flogged, but instead rejoiced that they suffered for obeying God. Read Acts 5:37-42,After this man rose up Judas of Galilee in the days of the taxing, and drew away much people after him: he also perished; and all, even as many as obeyed him, were dispersed. And now I say unto you, Refrain from these men, and let them alone: for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nought: But if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God. And to him they agreed: and when they had called the apostles, and beaten them, they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go. And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name. And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.  It is enforced in the United States today and each year there are about 250 people added to death row and 35 executed. Once a jury has agreed on convicting a person of a criminal offense, they then proceed to the second part of the trial, which is to then set the proper amount of punishment for the severity of the crime. This is the punishment phase. If the jury recommends the death penalty and the judge agrees that it is just, then the criminal will face some form of execution. Lethal injection is the most common form used today. The choices of execution vary from state to state but are as follows: hanging, electrocution, gas chamber, firing squad, and lethal injection. There are guidelines that are followed before a prisoner is sentenced to death. Of those, one of the most important reads: Capital punishment may be imposed only when guilt is determined by clear and convincing evidence leaving no room for an alternative explanation of the fact God knew when He created men with free wills that not all would follow and obey Him. However, He also knew that many would want to love and serve Him.  In giving men free will, He also had to establish laws for men to live by.Though man may make judgements that are biased according to race, and/or societal status, God does not.  He never condones a judgement based on any thing other than truth or justice.  God is no respecter of persons and He desires that all receive a fair and just trial no matter what their social status may be. We all need to pray for one another, and that God has mercy on the family's of Troy Davis and Mark MacPhail family. We all need the Spirit of God, and that Spirit is Love. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today - Renew !

Good morning,
The word for today - Renew !

Lets start with the right Spirit, you see every Spirit is not of God. So, the first thing in the morning as we start our day, lets give God thanks first, then lets ask God to renew our Spirit for today. Now read Psalm 51:10,Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.We don't need to bring yesterday into day, yesterday is gone. We need to draw near to God today, inorder to be happy, and helpful to others, this is the Spirit of God, its the Spirit of Love. Thats the Spirit of God, do you need the help of God? Yes, we all need the help of God. We have to be renew by the Spirit of God, we can not do it ourselves. The Bible encourages us to draw close to God and allow our hearts and bodies to be cleansed. This is the first step for us. We can't clean ourselves,we need help. We must draw near to God and ask Him to do the cleansing.  Speak over yourself the word of God, His grace is sufficient, read 2 Corinthians 12:9, And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Now thats powerful, it says most gladly I will help you. How many people are glad to help someone else? But, God is always will to step in to help you,or He will send someone to help you, its the Spirit of (God)love. He tells us to be transformed in our minds. Lets look at Romans 12:2, And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.This means your thinking must change. Now, read Philippians 4:8,Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. These are the things we should be thinking about, everything thats true, honest, just, pure and lovely to us and for us. You see, if you are not true to yourself, how can you be true to anyone else. Think about that, the word says that there is nothing new under the sun, He know everything thats in a persons heart.Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Whole !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Whole !

Do you need to be whole? The first thing is, you must have faith in order to be made whole. The second question is who do you have faith in ? The word from God tells us to have faith in God. Read Mark 11:22-24,And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. You must believe in your faith. Now get this, having faith in God means speaking His word over everything in your life. Speak over your children, your grandchildren, your house, even your boss and the job, your friends, and family members. Its in your heart, and your mouth. You see in His word it says not one of His sheep will be left out in the cold.  Read Mark 5:34, And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague. You see He has giving Her peace in the time of trouble.Wow, understand this, Jesus is speaking to her in a very soft manner, your faith have made you whole my daughter.  Understand this, God's power isn't activated by just a touch. It's activated, by the touch of faith from within us, that makes the flow of faith move. Do you know how to tap into the power within you? Its aways been available to you. Read Luke 18:42, And Jesus said unto him, Receive thy sight: thy faith hath saved thee. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen ! ( For some of the saints , they have ask me to enlarge the writting. Im sorry if it was to small to read.)

The word for today is - Peace!

Good morning,
The word for today is - Peace!

Do you have peace? Peace within us, is what we all strive for. Finding true peace only comes from one place, and that is with and in God. We will encounter hardships throughout our lives, and it is okay, you see God has giving us a way out. Whether we are believers or not, there will be times when we struggle to find peace and contentment. When that happens, you must turn to God, and pray for peace within yourself. He says in His word, my peace I give unto you, that is the Spirit of God within you.Read John 14:27,Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. He is telling us, nothing is to hard for me, Im within you, my Spirit. Read Isaiah 26:3,Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Do you trust Him? As long as you keep your mind on the Lord the bad can not overtake you, but once you take your mind off of Him ( Jesus), the devil can take control of your mind, but the Lord gives you strength to overcome the bad with His everlasting strength that will never run out. Our peace of mind can be greatly shaken, at those moments when the heat is turn on. No matter what happens in the world or in our own individual lives there is a place of peace. He says it is shaky ground to put our hope and faith in ourselves, or in other people, or in anything this world offers. Instead, he wants us to trust in him. He says, "Everyone who hears these words of mine, and acts upon them, may be compared to a wise man, who built his house upon the rock. God knows what will happen tomorrow, next week, next year, the next decade. He says, "I am God, and there is no one like me, declaring the end from the beginning."He knows what will happen in the future. More importantly, he knows what will occur in your life and will be there for you when it happens, if you've chosen to include him in your life. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Follow !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Follow !
The word from God says, Follow me, I am the way. Read John 14:6, Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. This means He is the only way to the Father. You have to follow Him! Read John 8:5-12,Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou? This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not. So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground. And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more. This is Jesus talking! Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. When we become Christians, we start afresh, and we become disciples or followers of  Jesus Christ, Ambassadors for Christ (God). We are citizens of heaven and ambassadors on earth.Read 2 Thessalonians 2:14-15, Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle. You have to stand on the word from God unmoveable always abounding in His word.Get this its in the word from God read 1 Corinthians 15:58,Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.Who are you following? This means always engaged in doing the will of God, by following the order of God, in promoting his glory, and advancing his kingdom. Do you need a place to be safe or to escape from your enemies? You can find security in Him ( Jesus). Read Psalm 18:2,The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Giving !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Giving !
Good morning children of God, when you give to someone are you giving out of love? Or are you giving with hate in your heart? Some people may say that can not be done. Yes it can, read Leviticus 19:17-18,Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him. Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD.You have to get understanding first, you see its in the heart of man, its within (hate). Now read Psalm 51:6-8,Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom. Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice. All the world needs is love, but in today's society, the meaning of the word love has become so distorted. Some view love as a feeling, but it is more than that, it is a decision followed by actions. Read John 13:34-35, Jesus said, A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another. Read that again, Jesus is giving us a new order of love and His love for us at the same time. So, you must give from within you, love for another. Now read Matthew 5:43-48, Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. Did you get that? If you show love in the middle of all that, then you are walking as Jesus did. Are you greater then, Jesus? No! They persecute Him first! Read John:15:18-21, If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me. Wow, this is telling us that its not you they hate, its the God in you, you are chosen out from the world, by God. Lets read Romans 8:28, And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Its the Spirit of God in you, the Spirit of love. Now, get this ,your reward is not here on earth, its with our heavenly Father in the kingdom. Read Ephesians 5:8-9, For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;). We are His children ! Also, read Ephesians 5:15-16, See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. So, give your all in love! Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Come !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Come !

God created each of us with a special purpose in mind. There is something that needs to be done on this earth that can only be done by you. Much of the stress that we carry springs from the fact that we don't know who we are or where we are going. Lets look at Matthew 11:28-30,Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. The Lord will make it easy for you,and give you rest. The first thing we must do to be free from our stress and our worry is to come unto Jesus. You see, without Him our life has no real purpose or depth. We simply run from one activity to another, seeking to fill our lives with purpose, peace, and happiness. The word from God,tells us let not your heart be troubled, He will wipe your tears away, just come to Jesus. Read Luke 6:47-49, Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like: He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock. But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.Do you need a strong foundation? Yes, inorder to stand when things come to overtake you. The key is that the house was built on the rock of Jesus, and the rock of putting His words into practice. Is your house built on Jesus? Jesus says come to me. We can either turn to Him and receive Him, or we can turn away from Him.Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today - Victory !

Good morning,
The word for today - Victory !

Do you not know that where ever you go the Lord is with thy? Lets look at Deuteronomy 20:4, For the LORD your God is he that goeth with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you. Now get this, His word will save you. The Scriptures speak of  types of "trouble" we will face in this life, trials, persecutions, and suffering. We should know that Satan is going to test us, so we must respond accordingly by the word. You must stand in the power of God (His word), in order to win. Read Ephesians 6:13, Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. You must put on the whole armour of God in order to have victory. Now read James 1:12-14, Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Did you get that? It says their is no evil in God, and evil can not overtake the power of God. So, anything that is evil does not come from God.The Lord gives us away out, the way out is be strong in the Lord. Its in Ephesians 6:10,Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Now get this , we the believers have victory in even death. You see, the believers can face death without fear, read Psalm 23:4, Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. The word tells us that the power of the Holy Spirit is with us even in death. Also read, Psalm 23:6, Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever. Wow, the mercy of God is always there for the believers, when you need it. You must know that victory is yours, tell satan to get behind you, like Jesus did. Read Matthew 16:23, But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Search !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Search !

Lets start with asking the Lord to search us, read Psalm 139:23,Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts. Wow! Then read Psam 139: 24, And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. It says search and know my heart, this means, know or see all that is within me that is not like you ( Jesus). The word from God says, He search the heart of everyone.  Now read Jeremiah 17:10, I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings. This means the Lord sees everything within us, nothing kept from Him inward. Now get this, the heart is deceitful, it cannot deceive him (the Lord), because he judges not according to outward appearance, but from within. We know the story of Peter,  Christ the omniscient God knew Peter's love for him. Read John 21:15-17, So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs. He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep. He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep. The personal nature of the question is this,He didn't ask, do you love the Pastor?  Do you love the world?  Do you love your church?  Do you love your parents?  Do you love your wife, your husband, or your children? He could have ask Peter about anything or anybody, but,He didn't ask Peter about someone else. He simply asked Peter, "Do you love me?" Today, each one of us must ask the question: "Do I love Jesus Christ?" Peter says you know all things, you know that I love you, so you know the way that I will go. Remember, Judas had betrayed him( Jesus) with a kiss.  If we truly love the Lord, we will show this by obeying His Word, read John 14:15, If ye love me, keep my commandments. His commandments are not burdensome, but are the very nature of love itself. This love is for us! Consider the greatest of the commandments. Read Matthew 22:37-40, Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. We should be walking in agape love. This love comes from God, Agape is love which is of and from God, whose very nature is love itself.Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Apart!

Good morning,
The word for today is - Apart!

Lets look at John 15:5,I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. It says without God you can do nothing right. There is not an area or detail in your life that God will not be willing to help you out with no matter how small or big you think it may be.Get this, read Romans 1:16,For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. Its the power of God, not your power. Lets look at Romans 12:2,And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Wow, the Lord is giving us directions, in your mind, He order your footstep in His word. God now has a perfect divine plan and destiny set up for your life and He will now be the One to guide you every step of the way into the fulfillment of that divine plan! Thank you for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Life!

Im sorry this is 09/14/2011; Wednesdays word.
Good morning,
The word for today is - Life!

God given purpose, overcomes even the most daunting life challenges. All you have to do is ask God, what is your purpose for my life.Life should be seen as an eternal process of joyous Spiritual discovery and growth. You see in the beginning stages of earthly life, the individual undergoes a period of training and education which, if it is successful, gives him or her the basic intellectual and spiritual tools necessary for continued growth. When individuals attain physical maturity in adulthood, they become responsible for their further progress, which now depends entirely on the efforts they themselves make for this walk of life. A person who has become aware of his or her spiritual nature, will seek after the things of the Spirit. That seeker will at all times, put his trust in God. So, ask God for spiritual guidance ! If you want to fill your cup with my knowledge, you must first empty your cup of your knowledge.”If you want to discover your true purpose in life, you must first empty your mind of all the false purposes you’ve been taught, including the idea that you may have no purpose at all. Now get this, there is a purposes for your life, that is why you are still here on earth. Amen !There are many ways to find and develop life purpose, by reading the word from God and studying the word, by praying, and by hearing. Get this, throughout your life, God's calling for you will bring great challenges. You can't succeed at this task on your own. Only through the constant guidance and help of the Holy Spirit, will you be able to carry out your God-appointed mission. Read John 14:4-6,And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. A personal relationship with Jesus guarantees that the Holy Spirit will live within you, giving you power and direction. May your life become ever richer and fuller as you move with greater purpose, focus, and intention through each day.Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Within !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Within !

What is within you? Is it the Spirit of God? Now, get this everyone is not of God. You see some will reject Him. Jesus said to the Pharisees that rejected him, your of the devil. Read John 8:44,Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. The Bible tells us that we have three distinct parts to our being its, Body, Soul, and Spirit. On the inside of your Soul is your Spirit. The Bible refers to our human Spirit as being our “Innermost Being.” When we receive Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, the Holy Spirit comes within, its the Spirit of God within you. Thats something to think about! You must have the new birth in order to make it in to the kingdom. Jesus' teaching on the new birth when he was visited by Nicodemus. You see, Nicodemus was seeking the truth. So,Nicodemus came to Jesus in the night, seeking the truth, afraid of being seen in the day. Read John 3:3, Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Some people my be confused like Nicodemus, this birth is within, its not a Physical new birth, but a Spiritual rebirth. Lets look at the promise Jesus gave to His disciples, read John 14:26, But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. Also, read Luke 17:20-21, And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. Its within you! About eight days after He took Peter, John, and James and went up on the mountain and they saw Jesus transfigured into His glory He hid within Himself, and along with the appearance of Moses and Elijah that would be present when Jesus establishes his kingdom on earth. They were able to get a glimpse into the future kingdom that would be for the saints. Lets look at Luke 9:27, But I tell you of a truth, there be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God.  Now get this, read 1 Samuel 10:5-6, After that thou shalt come to the hill of God, where is the garrison of the Philistines: and it shall come to pass, when thou art come thither to the city, that thou shalt meet a company of prophets coming down from the high place with a psaltery, and a tabret, and a pipe, and a harp, before them; and they shall prophesy: And the Spirit of the LORD will come upon thee, and thou shalt prophesy with them, and shalt be turned into another man. It says when the Spirit comes upon you, a change comes within. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Reward!

The word for today is - Reward!
Are you look for a reward from the Lord. Read Psalm 19:11,Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward. Now lets look at the great reward from the Lord, read Psalm 103:8-13,The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy. He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever. He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him. As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us. Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him. The greatest reward is, if you forsaken others for the name sake of the Lord, you will inherit everlasting life. Its in the word from God, no one or anything comes before God. The saints who have put Christ first in their lives, and who have placed all other things and other people who enter their lives in second priority to Christ. Our work for Christ must have first priority, because our love for Christ must be greater than the love for anyone or anything. The Lord Jesus said in Matthew chapter 10:37, He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. Now,read Matthew 19:29,And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life. Now get this, every saint should expect persecutions, why? Are you greater them the one who sent you? No! Read John 15:20, Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. Can we thank the Lord for these persecutions? Yes ! We must certainly thank Him for all these things, both good and bad, because we know that it says in Romans 8:28, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose”. You see its for a purpose! God knows what is good for us, and so we must, Thank Him for everything, He sends our way. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Unity !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Unity !

Lets start with the Bible, the Bible wasn't written to us, but for us, read Romans 15:4-7, For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus: That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God. Wow, thats powerful, it says to receive one another in love! Also, read Ephesians 4:11-13, And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ. Get, this He gave some, not everyone that say Lord is of God. But, the ones He gave is for the perfecting and work in the ministry with knowledge of Christ.  Lets read John 17:23, I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me. It says, I am is in them and they are in me (Jesus) ! Now get this, Read 1 Corinthians 12:12-14, For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. For the body is not one member, but many. It says one Spirit, its the Spirit of God. Now read this key note in Philippians 2:1-3, If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies, Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. Wow, can you put others before yourself? Christ did, He did it for you and me! Thank you Lord for your word and your love. Amen !

The word for today is - Blessed!

Good morning,
The word for today is - Blessed!

We will never forget you all, God bless us all. The America moment of silence for the 9/11/2001 victims, 9:03, 9:37,9:59,and 10:28 am the north tower falls.May the grace of God be with thy all day. The number nine is a most remarkable number in many respects. The nine"Fruit of the Spirit": (1) love, (2) joy, (3) peace, (4) longsuffering, (5) gentleness, (6) goodness, (7) faith, (8) meekness, (9) temperance. And the Eleven Apostles, Acts 2:14,But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words. Lets stand for one another, in the fruit of the Spirit, Love for one another! Lord we all need to hear from you, Lord we all stand in need of you.Jesus Himself said that a certain amount of tribulation and persecution would always come our way in this life. Let us walk in love, the word from God says there is a time for everything. Read  Ecclesiastes 3:1-8,To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace. Walk to day with the love of Jesus in you, show love, talk with love, and live with love in your life. Think what would Jesus do? He did everything in love for you and me! Thank you Lord for your word and your love for us.Amen !

The word for today is - Hold !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Hold !
No matter who we are, we are bound to have tribulation in this life. The first thing you must do to be free from stress and worry is to come unto Jesus. Without Him, your life has no real purpose or depth. You simply run from one person to another or one activity to another, seeking to fill your live with purpose, peace, and happiness. Now read Ecclesiastes 6:7,All the labour of man is for his mouth, and yet the appetite is not filled. Things haven't changed much since the days of King Solomon. The trials we face in this world will either break us or make us strong. But, all we can do is pray about it and do our best in every situation that we face. So, walk by the Spirit thats in you! Read Romans 8:1-4,There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. You should be running, your in a race. Now read James 1:23-25, For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way , and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed. Did you get that? you must not be just hearers , but doers of the word from God. Hold to God’s unchanging hand, build your hope on things eternal. You have to trust in Him, He will never leave you, nor forsake you. Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Ways !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Ways !

Read Isaiah 55:8, For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. How do you find out the ways of the Lord? By reading the word from God, by hearing the word, by studying the word, and praying by the word from God. Discover the Purpose for your life, as you continue your communications with God a time will come when he will tell you the plan He has for your life. This plan will awaken the seed in you completely and you will be given great power to carry the plan out, with the help of the Holy Spirit. This plan will seem so fantastic that you will know that you are incapable of doing itRemember, if you use God's power, you can do anything with God all things are possible. All you have to do is take one step at a time, you see the Holy Spirit will direct your steps. Read Psalm 119:133, Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.Understand that your steps are order by the word from God,He has a plan for your life.  Please open your Bible to John 3:16, For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. and John 17:3, And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. And read what Jesus said we must do to receive everlasting life. They who walk according to the directions and the knowledge of God will be favoured by him. Read Jeremiah 10:23, O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps. So, how do you find this favor ? by following his truth His word, open your heart to Him. Read John 10:27-28, My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. Wow, thats powerful, no one can pluck you out of the hand of God. This means you have security in the kingdom. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Encouragement !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Encouragement !

Lets start with Deuteronomy 31:6, Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. You have to understand that the Lord knows everything about us, He said that He would meet all of our needs. We all need someone or somebody to encourage us. You see everybody needs encouragement now and then, that is why we are to build one another up, to encourage one another in love. Paul gave a good guideline when he wrote that everything we say should build up the one who is listening. Read Ephesians 4:29, Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. You see, everything happens for a reason. Nothing happens by chance or by means of good luck. Illness, injury, love, and lost moments of true greatness and sheer stupidity all occur to test the limits of your soul. Sometimes people come into your life and you know right away that they were meant to be there. To serve some sort of purpose, teach you a lesson or help figure out who you are or who you want to become. If someone loves you, love them back unconditionally, not only because they love you, but because they are teaching you to love and to open your heart and eyes to little things. Make every day count! Appreciate every moment and take from it everything that you possibly can, for you may never be able to experience it again. Hold your head up because you have every right to. Tell yourself you are a great individual and believe in yourself, for if you don't believe in yourself, no one else will believe in you.  Now get this, The will of God will never take you, where the Spirit of God can not work through you. Nor,where the wisdom of God can not teach you, where the army of God can not protect you, or where the hands of God can not mold you. Everything happens for a purpose. We may not see the wisdom of it all now ,but trust and believe in the Lord, He always work things out for our good. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Glory

Good morning,
The word for today is - Glory !
Now read Psalm 19:1, The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. This has been in my Spirit for two days, the word tells us if you believe you will see the glory of God ( His Power). Many people want to understand the Glory of God with their mind, but they will never get it. God's glory can not be understood in the mind, it must be received in the Spirit. If Moses could see the glory of God, I believe that as a child of God we can see the glory too. In 2 Corinthians 3:18 it says, But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. The Bible also tells us where we can find the knowledge of the glory of God. Read 2 Corinthians 4:6 it says, For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. He has giving us knowledge of His power ! Read John 11:37-41, And some of them said, Could not this man, which opened the eyes of the blind, have caused that even this man should not have died? Jesus therefore again groaning in himself cometh to the grave. It was a cave, and a stone lay upon it. Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days. Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God? Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me. But if you do not believe then you can not see or understand the things of God. Read Matthew 17:20, And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. The word says nothing is impossible with the power of God, its in His word, speak the word over your life. Read 1Corinthians 10;31,Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God. So, whatever you do give God thanks. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Friend !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Friend !

The word "friend" is found about ninety times in the Bible. The Bible says, A man that hath friends must show himself friendly read Proverbs 18: 24,"A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother." Now, some people are too distant to form friendships, you must understand that, there is great value in friendship. You see"two are better than one," it is written in the word from God. Read Ecclesiastes 4:9-10,Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up. Now get this, read Proverbs 27:17,Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend. Jesus offers man his friendship, Jesus said in John 15: 14-15,Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. Thats powerful, He has made it known to us in the word ! Get this, Proverbs 17:17,A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity. The word says at all times, not sometimes! Jesus is the ultimate friend of mankind, you see He died for His friends, read John 15: 13, Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.  Now get this,Who are you walking with? Is it a true friend? Read Proverbs 13:20, He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed. There is a friendship we can learn a lot from in the Old Testament read I Samuel 18:1-4, And it came to pass, when he had made an end of speaking unto Saul, that the soul of Jonathan was knit with the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as his own soul. And Saul took him that day, and would let him go no more home to his father's house. Then Jonathan and David made a covenant, because he loved him as his own soul. And Jonathan stripped himself of the robe that was upon him, and gave it to David, and his garments, even to his sword, and to his bow, and to his girdle. When David and Jonathan met they became close friends. Their friendship was one of the deepest and closest. Here’s what made it special:They based their friendship on commitment to God, not just each other. They didn’t let anything come between them. They drew closer together when their friendship was tested. They were able to remain friends to the end. Just like David and Jonathan, this is the kind of friendship that Jesus saw that we all need today. He tells us don't walk in darkness, read 1 John 2:9-10,He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now. He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him. God tells us to walk in love, read John 13:34-35,A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another. Jesus meant it to include all mankind, even our enemies! Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Counsel !

The word for today is - Counsel !

Lets look at Proverbs 12:15,The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise. You see the foolish person thinks that it is okay to do things there way, but God wants His followers to be viewed differently. He wants the world to be able to see those who accept Jesus Christ as their Savior, as people of integrity; people who will go the extra mile to do what is right. People who are honest, trustworthy; people who speak with Spiritual Words, who speak healing and kindness. Now read Proverbs 11:14, Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counsellors there is safety. So,be very mindful of the people who speak things into your life, also the things that people have said about you. Now get this, read Proverbs 10:11, The mouth of a righteous man is a well of life: but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked. The righteous man speaks like a fountain of living water, continually running and flowing like water, wholesome, reviving, and refreshing. So, the righteous men speaks out of their mouth from the abundance of their heart, it overflows with good things and truth always. The wise gain this wisdom by reading the word, by hearing the word, by meditation on the word from God, by prayer, and by having faith in the word from God. The word from God tells us that good counsel comes from Him. Read Psalm 1:1,Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. This is telling us the characteristic of an righteous person, who always been true in the past, true in the present, and will be true in the future. Did you get that? Always true and never ever changes, in the past, present, or the future. Who do that sound like to you?______! It sounds like God to me,always the same, always speaking the truth, and always looking out for our good. Read Proverbs 19:20-21, Hear counsel, and receive instruction, that thou mayest be wise in thy latter end. There are many devices in a man's heart; nevertheless the counsel of the LORD, that shall stand. So, stand on the counsel of the Lord, His word. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Gospel !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Gospel !

The first question is,what does God's word say about the gospel? God's word tells us that it is God's spirit talking to us and for us. Read 2 Timothy 3:16,All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. Now thats something to be thankful for, His word gives us instruction. What are the instruction? Read Mark 16:15, And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He is saying do as I (the Lord) said, ask no questions. Read Isaiah 55:11, So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. This means it is never spoken in vain, and never fails to produce the effect which he intends. It is the Spirit of God in you, its not you. You have to be a willing vessel for God's word. The word tells us that we should  have a hunger and a thirst for His word. Read Matthew 5:6,Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Did you get that? You should have a strong desire for the word from God. He also tells us to follow Him, in order for us to live, you see some people are walking around  spiritually died.  A lot of people get confused because they don’t understand the difference between spiritual death, and physical death. We know that everyone dies in the flesh regardless of whether they follow Christ or not. So then what does Jesus mean that the one partaking of his flesh will live forever? Clearly, he is not speaking of physical life and death, but rather spiritual life and death. Read John 6:64-67, But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him. And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father. From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him. Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away? Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life. And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God. Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil? He spake of Judas Iscariot the son of Simon: for he it was that should betray him, being one of the twelve. Wow, Judas did not follow the instruction, from God. Get this,He is our Father we are His children, you see that is love, read Ephesians 5:1,Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children. Also read Ephesians 6:24,Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen! Now we know that a earthly father should always take care our His children. But with our Heavenly Father, He always takes care of His children and gives them the best of everything. Amen ! We have to understand that God's ways are not like mankind, you see man will change on you at anytime, but God his love never ever changes. God is eternal and does not change. Read Hebrews 13:8,Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever. The Bible describes God as unchangeable, eternal, immutable always existing. Wow, always! In His word He tells us my word changes not, read Malachi 3:6,For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed. Christ promises exclusively to those believing in him. Read John 10:28-30,And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. I and my Father are one. Now ask yourself do you have a hunger and a thirst, for the gospel ? The word from God is living water! Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Different!

Good morning,
The word for today is - Different!

Do you ever ask yourself, why do I feel different? Have you ever have the opportunity to meet someone from another culture, you will soon recognize the fact that they think and act differently than you do. Well, as believers, we are supposed to think and act differently than the people of the world. Our new birth and our new nature are all products of heaven. As a result, we are to be heavenly minded. You see, we need to know how to conduct ourselves, the way that the word of God has told us in His word. You see, instead of being partakers of the culture and mind set of this world, we are to attempt to share the culture and mind set of Heaven with this culture. Remember, we are from another world, read John 15:19, If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.. We are literally "ambassadors" from heaven to this world, read 2 Corinthians 5:20, Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.. We are to do all we can to share the culture of our homeland with the earth bound people living around us. We are to show and tell them how the citizens of Heaven live their lives. Since we are citizens of Heaven, we are to avoid living like the citizens of the earth. To answer the question read 1Peter 2:9-12,But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light; Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy. Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul; Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !
