The word for today is - Journey !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Journey !

The Bible tells us that when you are born again (Spiritually born) you are now a new creations in Jesus Christ. Before you can really move forward into the divine destiny that God has in store for you in this life, you first must let go of things that may have occurred in your past. You see your on a new journey, when God wants to take you somewhere, He may take you on the long path instead of a shortcut. Why, because He knows the plans that He has for your life. Read Jeremiah 29:11,For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. When you and I got saved we had habits and thought patterns that were of this world. When we got saved those thought patterns and habits came with us. Sometimes God will take us on a long journey, inorder for a delay. Why, because,God uses the delays in our life to break those habits and thought patterns to train us into His way of thinking and doing things. When on your journey a delay comes up don't faint, and don't be afraid. Why? Because,God uses delays to get us ready for those difficult times that we are going to face during the course of our journey. These delays are designed to strengthen our faith and make us stronger. God uses delays to test us and see how we will respond under pressure and to test our loyalty and obedience to Him. The best thing to do when you are in God's waiting on the Lord is be patient and let God do His work in your life. The word of God says, "I will always be with you",you need to focus on God's presence. There will never be a time in your life when God is not with you, you must walk by faith not by sight. Now read Romans 8:38-39, For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. God responds to faith not fear learn to trust God in the delays in your life. Read Matthew 11:28-30,Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.  When we try to take matters into our own hands we get in trouble. The word tells us to pray, read Luke 18:1,And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint. What do you pray during the delay phases of life? You pray to our Heavenly Father, ask Him to "Help you hold on and not to give up" on your journey. The Bible says, "They that wait upon the Lord, shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings, as eagles. They shall run and not be weary. They shall walk and not faint." When you are on a journey for the Lord, you won't give up,you just keep on keeping on, its about God's timming. Read Habakkuk 2:3, For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. Slowly, steadily, surely, the time approaches when the vision will be fulfilled, and your journey will surely come to pass. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Sharing !

The word for today is - Sharing !

The word of God tells us to share the gospel with the nations. The bible is clear, its the book of life. You have to ask yourself the question do you want to live? People have to hear the good news about Jesus Christ inorder for them to live. That means somebody needs to go and tell them the Gospel message of the good news. Some people don't go out and share the gospel, because they are afraid of being rejected. If people reject the gospel, they are not rejecting you, they are rejecting God, it's not about you. If they accept the message then, God gets the glory. The word of God tells us to study His word day and night, read Joshua 1:8, It says, This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. Intil you get the understanding of the word of God , you can not have a good and success life. The life that your living is not on a strong foundation, if it isn't root with Jesus, in your life, it will fall. The Gospel is a message that includes many attributes and ideas, it is a message of salvation through faith in Jesus. It is a message of peace that proclaims that God has a heavenly kingdom which is spreading through the Gospel to the nations. The Gospel is also considered according to Ephesians 6:19, it says I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel, ;Colossians 1:5, it says that the Gospel is the word of truth, and Colossians 1:23 says be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which you have heard, and which was preached to every creature who is under heaven. What or who are you putting your hope in? Perhaps the most famous preacher of the Gospel was Paul,he considered the task his duty. You see, Paul he did not accept payment for sharing the Gospel, but he defended the rights of other preachers who did, read  1 Corinthians 9:12-14, If others be partakers of this power over you, are not we rather? Nevertheless we have not used this power; but suffer all things, lest we should hinder the gospel of Christ. Do ye not know that they which minister about holy things live of the things of the temple? and they which wait at the altar are partakers with the altar? Even so hath the Lord ordained that they which preach the gospel should live of the gospel. Ask yourself, are you will to be arrested, defending the gospel, Paul was. Ask yourself can you share the gospel of Jesus Christ freely? The word of God says, if you are ashame of me, I will be ashame of you, read Mark 8:38, Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels. Thats something to think about, would you say? We have a mission, and that mission is to speak of the goodness of Jesus Christ, how can a person get to know Him without a peacher or an disciple. Read, Matthew 10:32, Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. Also, read Romans1:16,For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. If you need to confess anything here on earth, it is that the gospel of Jesus Christ is the true living word of God and it is the only way back to our Heavenly Father.Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Favor !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Favor !

We need to understand that , some people have “favor with God” and “favor before God”. Read Psalm 90:17,And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it.  Also, read Psalm 5:12, For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield. Did you get that? its the hand of God that gives the righteous favor. There is an appointed time for favor. Read Psalm 102:13, Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come. Now, read the story of Esther 2:15-18,Now when the turn of Esther, the daughter of Abihail the uncle of Mordecai, who had taken her for his daughter, was come to go in unto the king, she required nothing but what Hegai the king's chamberlain, the keeper of the women, appointed. And Esther obtained favour in the sight of all them that looked upon her. So Esther was taken unto king Ahasuerus into his house royal in the tenth month, which is the month Tebeth, in the seventh year of his reign. And the king loved Esther above all the women, and she obtained grace and favour in his sight more than all the virgins; so that he set the royal crown upon her head, and made her queen instead of Vashti. Then the king made a great feast unto all his princes and his servants, even Esther's feast; and he made a release to the provinces, and gave gifts, according to the state of the king. Did you understand that Esther had not ask for anything, she was giving divine favor in the sight of the king. The best story in the Bible about favor working in someone’s life is Joseph. Everything started off bad with Joseph. Although he was the favorite son of his father, his brothers hated him. They sold him as a slave. You see favor does not flow from heaven to others so that they look upon you with kindness, its in you. "So why did Joseph have so much favor with people?" Listen carefully, the reason Joseph had favor with people was because of his Spirit was right. Favor flows from your spirit to others, favor is not luck, its from the heart ,that is why Joseph had favor with other people. Joseph had a good spirit about him. This is why God gave him favor with so many people. He had reasons to become bitter, but he ignored them and chose to forgive people. He even forgave his brothers. The Bible tells us about Mary, she was highly favored. Why was Mary so highly favored? Mary’s spirit was full of praise, not complaints or bitterness. She said, "My spirit rejoices in God."  Read Luke 1:46-48, And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord, And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour. For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed. Favor works through a person who has a rejoicing spirit.Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is- Peace!

Good morning,
The word for today is- Peace!

Many people are looking and asking when will things get better? Who do we turn to, you have to turn to the Lord, your hope is in Him. Can we look forward with hope, regardless of the world's circumstances? Yes, we can ! Who knows what the future holds? Only, God ! The word of God tells us to hold on, help is on the way. The word says, I am God, is anything to hard for me? No! Most often lack of peace results simply from the absence of God in ones live. As we get to know God and listen to what he says in the Bible, he brings about that peace of mind in our lives, that we need. You see we can not do it ourselves, we all need help from the Lord. The word of God say turn to me, read Isaiah 45:22, Look unto me, and be you saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else. No one can give you the peace that your looking for, its not in people or things, its in the Lord. You see its a free gift. Read John 14:27,Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. God will keep us in “perfect peace” if our minds are “stayed” on Him, read Isaiah 26:3,Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. The key word is, if you keep your mind on Him.  Peace of mind and the tranquility of spirit that accompanies it are only available when we have true peace with God through the sacrifice of Christ on the cross, in full payment for our sins. Those who attempt to find peace in worldly pursuits will find themselves sadly deceived. Read Isaiah 53:5, But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. When we keep our eyes focused on God, we have to remember his love for us and we have to realize that we truly have nothing to worry about. God has a wonderful plan for our lives, and part of that plan includes taking care of us. Thank you Lord. Read Galatians 6:8-9, For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Servant !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Servant !

My question is this, what is a Servant or who is an Servant? I started thinking about this question this morning, am I a good Servant of the Lord? Lets first find the meanning, what does the dictionary say a servant is? Its a person who serves others: an individual who performs duties for others. It is to humble oneself and put the good of others before self. Are we willing to set aside for second place and put others before ourselves?  It is the opposite of pride and arrogance, or wanting to elevate self. Are we willing to give up being noticed?  Christ calls us to be servants, so we have to learn what a good servant is first ! Christ gave us the example of a servant when he washed the Disciple's feet. You see in the church today we have people seeking for Glory.  I am afraid that some people are motivated more by a desire to be served, to lead and get honor, or to receive praise. But the Lord says in His word all Glory and Honor is His! The Bible calls on us to be servants, understand that if anyone that continue with a carnal mind set can never become servants of God. Read Romans 8:5-8, For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So, then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. Jesus defined what it means to be a servant, read John 13:3-17, Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he was come from God, and went to God; He riseth from supper, and laid aside his garments; and took a towel, and girded himself. After that he poureth water into a bason, and began to wash the disciples' feet, and to wipe them with the towel wherewith he was girded. Then cometh he to Simon Peter: and Peter saith unto him, Lord, dost thou wash my feet? Jesus answered and said unto him, What I do thou knowest not now; but thou shalt know hereafter. Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me. Simon Peter saith unto him, Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head. Jesus saith to him, He that is washed needeth not save to wash his feet, but is clean every whit: and ye are clean, but not all. For he knew who should betray him; therefore said he, Ye are not all clean. So after he had washed their feet, and had taken his garments, and was set down again, he said unto them, Know ye what I have done to you? Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am. If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet. For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you. Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him. If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them. Read the last verse again, this is Jesus talking to His disciples, it says if ye know these things and do them then you will be doing the will of God and you will be happy. Read John 12:26, If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour. The word tells us to follow the greatest Servant of time Jesus! If we have the attitude of service we will have compassion on the lost and desire to take the gospel to them.  If we are applying the servant principle we will not be concerned about who "gets credit" for teaching others, its not about us, its about the work of the Lord. We also need to have a different attitude toward others. We should not be offended when people make mistakes, we should be willing to help others and not expect any reciprocal benefit. We should treat each other as if we are all children learning about God’s kingdom. Its all about the Souls, its about reaching out to the Lost. For me all I need to hear is my Lord and Savior say is, well done my good and faith servant come on in! Read Matthew 25:21, His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Always !

The word for today is - Always !

Lets define always, it means :at all times; on all occasions.;Throughout a long period of the past. So, lets look at Genesis 18:14, Is any thing too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son. We must remember that God is always at work and always on time. Never be discouraged when you feel like God is not there or you just can't understand yet, He is there; you just cannot see Him and His work yet!  Read Ephesians 2:8-10, For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.  You have to have faith in order to see the things of God, we walk by faith not by sight. Now read Galatians 5:1-6,Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing. For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law. Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace. For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith. For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love. God's purposes for your life can't be rushed. The word tells us that God is always on time! Are you carrying a seed that can't be harvested right away? One that needs to be nurtured andprocessed before coming to fruition? If so, don't let it die by trying to bring it to birthprematurely. Instead, trust God's timing. Remember, there's not one instance in Scripturewhere God was ever late. You can read the book of John chapter 11, about a certain man that was sick, named Lazarus and He died. His sister, Martha said to Jesus, "Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died".  But, the power of God, read verse 25, Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live. Wow ! Jesus told her, "I am the resurrection and the life." Those who believe in me, even though theydie like everyone else, will live again.  For the person that believes in Jesus, physical death is not a tragicend. It is instead the gateway in abundant eternal life and fellowship with God. “Yet shall helive” refers to the resurrection, “shall never die” means that the resurrected believer will neverdie. He will have a new body, immortal and incorruptible one that cannot die or deteriorate. Get this,  Jesus shouted, "Lazarus, come forth!"He That Was Dead Came Forth, the miracle of Lazarus’s resurrection was a sign pointing to Jesus as the resurrection and the life. It was a demonstration of what God will do for allbelievers who have died, for they too will be raised from the dead. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Everywhere !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Everywhere !

Lets look at the beginning of time. Read Genesis 1:1,In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. So,is there any location in this universe where we can hide from the presence of God? No ! Why? Because, God is Omnipresent. Basically, being omnipresent means being present everywhere at the same time. In fact, King David posed this question directly, asking: “Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? Nowhere! The Scripture tell us in Psalm 139:1-10,O lord, thou hast searched me, and known me. Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off. Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O LORD, thou knowest it altogether. Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it. Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.So, how can God be “everywhere” at the same time? We already read the answer, in David’s words: “Where can I go from your Spirit?” You see God is a Spirit! God has complete access to the universe, there is no place to flee from His presence. Now read Nehemiah 9:6,Thou, even thou, art LORD alone; thou hast made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things that are therein, the seas, and all that is therein, and thou preservest them all; and the host of heaven worshippeth thee. Do you not know, who God is, and His power? This is the Lord speaking, read Job 38:1-33,New International Version,Then the LORD spoke to Job out of the storm. He said:  “Who is this that obscures my plans with words without knowledge?  Brace yourself like a man; I will question you,and you shall answer me.  “Where were you when I laid the earth’s foundation? Tell me, if you understand.Who marked off its dimensions? Surely you know! Who stretched a measuring line across it? On what were its footings set, or who laid its cornerstone, while the morning stars sang together and all the angels shouted for joy?  “Who shut up the sea behind doors when it burst forth from the womb, when I made the clouds its garment  and wrapped it in thick darkness, when I fixed limits for it and set its doors and bars in place, when I said, ‘This far you may come and no farther; here is where your proud waves halt’? “Have you ever given orders to the morning, or shown the dawn its place,  that it might take the earth by the edges and shake the wicked out of it? The earth takes shape like clay under a seal; its features stand out like those of a garment. The wicked are denied their light,  and their upraised arm is broken.  “Have you journeyed to the springs of the sea  or walked in the recesses of the deep? Have the gates of death been shown to you? Have you seen the gates of the deepest darkness?  Have you comprehended the vast expanses of the earth?  Tell me, if you know all this. “What is the way to the abode of light? And where does darkness reside? Can you take them to their places?Do you know the paths to their dwellings? Surely you know, for you were already born!  You have lived so many years! “Have you entered the storehouses of the snow or seen the storehouses of the hail, which I reserve for times of trouble,  for days of war and battle? What is the way to the place where the lightning is dispersed, or the place where the east winds are scattered over the earth? Who cuts a channel for the torrents of rain, and a path for the thunderstorm,  to water a land where no one lives, an uninhabited desert, to satisfy a desolate wasteland and make it sprout with grass? Does the rain have a father? Who fathers the drops of dew? From whose womb comes the ice? Who gives birth to the frost from the heavens when the waters become hard as stone, when the surface of the deep is frozen?  “Can you bind the chains of the Pleiades? Can you loosen Orion’s belt?  Can you bring forth the constellations in their seasons or lead out the Bear with its cubs? Do you know the laws of the heavens?  Can you set up God’s dominion over the earth? To all of the questions, the answer is No!!!! Read Jeremiah 23:23-24, Am I a God at hand, saith the LORD, and not a God afar off? Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the LORD. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the LORD. This is the Lord speaking, the Lord is asking you who can hide from me? Jesus Christ confronted His followers with the most important issue they would ever face, Who do you say that I AM? Your response to Him will determine not only your values and lifestyle, but your eternal destiny as well. The word of God says, I AM who I say that I AM and my word is truth! Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Humble!

Good morning,
The word for today is - Humble!

Why should people be meek and humble? If we seek to be happy, and to be led by the Spirit, to avoid destruction, then we need to possess meekness and humility. Lets start with 1 Peter 5:6,Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. The word of God tells us to humble ourselves first ! Read this Colossians 3:11-13, Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. Wow! The two greatest characters who ever lived that were chosen by God to be givers of His law, for us to follow is, Jesus first and Moses. Read Matthew 11:29-30, Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Its in the word of God for us to learn, how to be more like Jesus. Then read Numbers 12:3,Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men which were upon the face of the earth. Now that is powerful, a man walked the earth in meekness? This means He put others before Himself. How many people can do that? Not many! Do you think we should seek to be like these men? Yes! Now get this, read Colossians 3:23-24, And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ. God can tell the difference between true humility and false humility. Read Philippians 2:3, Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. You see its not about you, its about being submissive to others, that was the mission of Jesus and Moses, for others. The Bible tells us that "God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble" it is very wise to be humble, read 1 Peter 5:5,Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble. Get understanding first the meek person is not self-willed, is not continually concerned with self, his or her own ways or ideas, and wishes. He or she is willing to put himself or herself in second place and submit himself or herself to achieve what is good for others. Meekness is the opposite of self-will, self-interest, and self-assertiveness. You see this is not the will of God. Again, it is not about you! Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Spirit !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Spirit !

The question is this, who do you say that I AM? This is the question Jesus is asking us today? I have tried to point out only what the Bible says, and not to what I think it means. The proper interpretation of Scripture has long been a source of debate because many people consider the process too subjective. We've all heard remarks like "Doesn't everyone have their own view?" or "Aren't there many ways to interpret that passage?" The answer in fact is "No"! there are not many ways to interpret the Bible. The Bible is not some false teaching. In contrast to the relativity so common in our world, it is comforting to know that God offers absolute truth and every passage of Scripture has Only One intended meaning and Only One correct interpretation. We must read the word of God, or hear the word of God inorder to know the word from God. Anything that is less than, more than, or different from what the Bible says is false doctrine. Read Ephesians 4:5, One Lord, one faith, one baptism. If we fail to follow God’s instructions or His word, it becomes sin, we will be lost and punished along with Satan. The Bible tells us to speak the truth and the truth will set you free!  Get this you must be born again, to be “spiritually born" this means that God's Holy Spirit “quickens” or "brings alive our Dead Spirit." When a sinner believes the Lord Jesus as the Christ, trusting in Him alone to forgive all their sins, then God the Father and God the Son comes into one's heart in the form of the Holy Spirit read John 14:23,Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.  The “Holy Spirit” is “God within us.”  A person cannot understand the Bible without the presence of the Author, and God is the Author. When you become born-again or born for the second time of the Spirit, God's Holy Spirit comes into your body read 1Corinthians 3:16,Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? Did you get that? It is the Spirit of God in you. When you get to understand that, then you will understand many new things for the first time in your life. The reason why you need to be "spiritually born" is because you have never been spiritually born to begin with. So, when the Bible speaks of being “born again,” it actually means “born for the second time.” You were born physically into this world, but you were born without the Spirit of God in your soul (spiritually dead). You have God living in your  body in the form of the Holy Spirit. Romans 8:9, But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. Read Romans chapter 8 tells us that the Spirit of Christ dwells within every believer. We are not God, but we have God's Spirit living in us. The Godhead dwells in every believer, you see the Holy Spirit of God guides us, comforts us, teaches us, rebukes us, chastises us, convicts us, encourages us, empowers us, loves us, strengthens us, and so much more. Read 1 Corinthians 8:6, But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him. God is so awesome that He says, in His word in Ephesians 4:13-16,Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love. The word of God says, intil we all come into the unity of the faith, then we will have the fulness of Christ.Thank you Lord for your love. Amen !

The word for today is- Truth !

Good morning,
The word for today is- Truth !

The Bible tells us that lying began with the devil and that he is the father of lies, read John 8:43-47,Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not. Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me? He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God. Some people can not understand the truth, and others turn away from the truth. Scripture states that God's word is the truth, read John 17:17, Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. Are you free or do you need the truth? The word of truth sets you free! Since God cannot lie, He sets the example for all of His people. It is God's desire that we follow that same example. Now read this, it is Jesus talking, John 14:6, Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Jesus is the Son of God, the second Person of the Trinity. He was sent by the Father for the redemption of mankind. Did you get that? He did it for us. Jesus is the only way back to the Father and that is the truth! Read 1 Timothy 3:15, But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth. And read Matthew 16:18-19, And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. So what ever you speak on earth, that means any false statements in order to evade the truth. God is not please with that, then He says in His word I the Lord is not like man. Read Numbers 23:19-20, God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? Behold, I have received commandment to bless: and he hath blessed; and I cannot reverse it. Remember that speaking and living the truth helps those around us come to the Truth. You see, Jesus always keeps His Word and is faithful to keep every promise that He has spoke to us in the Bible. And that is the truth! Thank you Lord, for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Mentoring !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Mentoring !

Do you know that the Bible tells us how to mentor. The Lord commands us to teach the next generation, you are called by God to mentor, read Proverbs 22:6,Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. If someone asks you to mentor them, consider it an honor and a challenge. You may say, okay, I will accept the challenge to mentor or disciple someone else, but what do I do first? I think you should pray about it first, say Lord let this be your will. Read Proverbs 27:17, Iron sharpens iron; so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend. So, we should be sharpeneth the countenance of our friend; by conversation with him; or her about God's word, sharpen one another's mind. We have to look back over our life and think about the people who has mentor us. I can say thanks to My Mother,My Aunt Jerry, My Aunt Glo, Mother Graham, and Aunt Ida Mae read Titus 2:3-5,The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed. They have touch my life in a great way, I just want to say thank you all. I have had great men who mentor me also, along the way, My husband Larrie,Brother Graham , and my oldest Brother William (Marty) and many others. Larrie always told me that I was a strong woman, brother Graham always told me to stay in the word, and my oldest brother always told be to do my best!  My daughter is also a mentor for me, she tells me mother you can not do everything for everybody. I would like to thank all the mentors!  Can you be a mentor and touch someones life? This is a command given to us by God! I think that mentoring is the same as discipleship, even though we may use different terms.  Discipleship as a term may not be a functional term in the business world, but the concept is still the same- investing in others.Who are you investing God;s word in?Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Beware!

Good morning,
The word for today is - Beware!

Do you know the Spirit of God? Read 1 John 4:1-4, Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. Did you not know that the Holy Spirit is with you always, so the Holy Spirit will lead you. The Bible tells us, to be aware at all times! You have to understand that every Spirit is not of God. Read 2 John 1:10-11, If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds. The Lord warns us of these false teachers and tells us to beware of them. Read John 8:42-44, Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. Do not be led astray by false ideas, trends, or other things just because they are new or sounds good. Rather, receive and build your strength on Jesus Christ and righteousness. We need to get the truth, you have to understand that some are teaching a false gospel. They will come looking like sheep, but they are wolves! Read  Matthew 7:13-15, Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. The man or woman that meditate day and night on God's word is blessed ! Read Psalm 1:1-6, Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish. You can not hide anything from God,read  Matthew 9:4, And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts? God says, I know the heart of every man!  Now,read Galatians 5:22-25,But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Are you walking by the Spirit? Its love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance.Thank you Lord for your word. Amen!

The word for today is - Apart

Good morning,
The word for today is - Apart!
Lets look at Romans 12:1-2,I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Understand that you, being set apart from the world is a great thing! Have you ever have someone say to you that your different? Your chosen, by God! This is the plan of God, you are chosen or set apart by God for His glory! We have to get to a place in God an be able to speak,No matter what happens in this world or in our own individual lives we will trust God's plan. God has set us apart from the world,we are in the world but not of it, read John 17:15-18,I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. Read that again, this is Jesus praying to the Father, for us, asking God to keep us from all evil. Wow, that is true love! Most, often lack of peace results simply from the absence of God in ones live. Do you need peace, there is only one way to get this peace, its in Jesus! With God involved in your live, you can rest easy. As we get to know God and listen to what he says in the Bible, he brings about that peace of mind in our lives, the peace that the world can't take away. Why? because the world didn't give it to you.God's intent is for us to have a more abundant life no matter what the circumstances are. He wants to have a positive influence in every area of our lives. When we rely upon him and his words, we are building upon the Rock that will stand forever. Unlike us, God knows what will happen tomorrow, next week, and next year. He says, "I am God, and there is no one like me, declaring the end from the beginning." He knows what will happen in the future. More importantly, he knows what will occur in your life and mine and He will be there for us when it happens, if you have include him into your life. He tells us that he is "our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in times of trouble." But we must make a sincere effort to seek him. He says, "you will seek me and find me, when you search for me with all your heart." So, set aside everything that is holding you from seeking the Lord. So speak, you have the power, apart from me, speak to these things that are not of God, get out of my way, and get out of my sight and my life.Read this, it is Jesus talking, He tells Peter to get out of His sight, read Matthew 16:23,But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men. You have the power its in your tongue, life or death. To those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.We have been set apart for the call of God on our lives. It is during these times that we will find ourselves spending quality time with God as He molds us and makes us into His image. Read Matthew 22:14 says,"For many are called, but few are chosen."Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Rainbow!

Good morning,
The word for today is - Rainbow!
Lets look in the Bible and find the rainbow, its mentioned in Genesis and in Revelation of the Bible. In the book of Genesis 9:12-13,And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations:I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth. What does a rainbow, and the colors of the rainbow, symbolize in the Bible? The rainbow symbolized God's mercy and the covenant, that God made with Noah (representing mankind) not to destroy the world in such a way again. God wants us to look up into the rainbow and have hope even when we walk through difficult times. Read Genesis 9:16, And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth. Do the rainbow colors have any spiritual meaning? Yes! The color white is symbolic of holiness, the color blue  a symbol of deity or royalty, and Purple itself was used as a symbol of royalty. Read Revelation 4:3, And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.  John wrote about a rainbow he saw around Jesus ,Who was in a pillar of cloud like was described in Exodus. In that experience, the Israelites were camping and they saw this cloud which was a covering about Jesus. When the cloud moved, they were to follow. It was a light for them at night a covering from the hot sun in the day. When the Egyptians wanted to kill them, it blocked their vision. They saw darkness, but on the other side of the cloud it was light for God's people. Jesus was leader of Moses and the million people who left Egypt for the promised land. Again at the end of time, God's people will see Jesus in His cloud. Read Revelation 10:1, And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Believing!

Good morning,
The word for today is - Believing!
Lets start with God's word, God's word is true. The word from God tells us that you must believe in His word first. Read John 3:16-18,For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. There are those who have faith but they are letting their faith slip away read 2 Timothy 2:18,Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some. If we don't want evil forces to overthrow our faith we need to know how to keep our faith strong. God's definition of faith takes precedence over man's definition of faith. There are all kinds of faith in the world, even the demons have faith. Read James 2:18-19,Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. But only the one true faith is the truth. So,If we want to know how God defines faith we will have to go to the Bible, it is the word of God. God sent His one and only Son, to save us, the believers. The word says, everyone did not and will not receive Him. Read John 6:64,But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him. Now, that is powerful, He knew from the beginning of time. Also,Read John 1:11-13,He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.The Son of God is born by the Spirit of God, and to the beievers we are of the same Spirit. You see there is only One true God, One true Spirit, One true faith, and One true baptism, it is not of water, but of the Spirit, its the baptism of the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of God. Read  Philippians 1:5-6, For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now; Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. You must believe in the true gospel. The word has giving us a warning, read Matthew 24:23-26, Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Behold, I have told you before. Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. This is not the Spirit of God,if it does not line up with the word from God don't follow it or them. The word of God brings joy and peace. Read Romans 15:13,Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Pain !

The word for today is - Pain !
Lets consider what Paul said in 2 Corinthians 12:8-9, For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Paul was speaking of a “thorn in his flesh” that was troubling him. Is their something troubling you? We don’t know what it was, but it seemed to have been painful for Paul. He recognized that God’s grace was being given to him so he could endure. God will give His children the grace to bear pain. You have to understand that our Heavenly Father is always working things out for our good. The word of God is saying to us, my grace is enough; it's all you need, my word! Certainly, grief and sorrow are natural emotions that we all experience when we lose someone or something and it is not wrong. But, God is the answer and has the answer to the problem. When people are happy, you can tell by the sparkle in their eyes, a smile and their attitude. And,you can also tell when a person is sad or in pain, by looking at a person's face or by the way they act.  Especially when you know a person, you will see the sorrow in their heart. Lets read Revelation 21:4, And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. Its okay to tell  the person or people to give it to Jesus, He will bring you through it. The Lord said, I will give you rest, read Matthew 11:28-30,Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Lets get understanding, Jesus died on the cross, not only to give us eternal life, but He also died to take our grief and sorrows. Jesus Christ, on the cross bore all of our iniquities, pain, sickness and sorrow. The word tells us that He was wounded for our transgressions.  Read Isaiah 53:4-6,Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.The word tells us that He did it for you and me the children of God. Read 1 Peter 4:12-19,Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified. But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters.Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf. For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear? Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator. Lord we thank you for all that you have done for us.  Read 1John 3:16,Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. So, get this, your pain is a small thing, when you start thinking about the pain that Jesus took for you and I ! Now read John 16:33, this is the Lord speaking,These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. Wow, that is powerful! Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Control !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Control !

The question is? Is God in control of everything? Yes, God is in control, God is the creator and controller of the universe. The supreme rulership of God is based upon the perfections of His divine being. Read Ephesians 1:11-12, In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. The Bible teaches about the sovereignty of God, read the Bible its the word of God. The word tells us to get understanding, of who God is, the bible tells us I AM who I say that I AM.The absolute sovereignty of God, He has the right to do what ever He chooses to do, whenever He chooses to do it, in any way He chooses to do it, for any purpose, He wants to accomplish, and to use any person He chooses. that is God! Also, read Genesis 22:12, And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me. God knows everything that can be known. Read Jeremiah 29:11, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. If you seek for the truth or know the truth you will be free, because if we know it and tell it and live it, we can glorify the Lord of truth. You see nothing on earth, has such power as the gospel of Jesus Christ. Read 2 Peter 1:1-3,Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ: Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue. Its about knowing the truth, and getting knowledge of the truth. God will reveal everything that you need to know, God has some secret things that man can not understand. But, for the believers He will reveal things in His timing! Read Deuteronomy 29:29, The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law. Read Proverbs 3:5,Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Watch !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Watch !

Lets look at Matthew 26:41,Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. It is necessary to be on your guard at all times. Pray to our Heavenly Father for His Spirit to lead you. Ask the Holy Spirit for help ,so that you will not be overcome and oppressed with the trials of this world. Now get this, none of the saints are without temptation, but God has made gracious provision for us. By the Holy Spirit we are renewed and regenerated by the Spirit of God, the bible says ,but the flesh is weak, and the Spirit is strong.Read Ephesians 6:18-20,Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel, For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak. The word of God tells to watch, read Luke 21:36,Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man. You are a soldier so keep alert at all times, so that we may be aware of the fulfillment of Bible prophecy. We need to read Luke chapter 21, God's word prepares us for the various physical events to look for,inLuke 21 verses 34-35, as we shall see, prepare us for spiritual events. For most of it, Christ gives the warning signs that signal the end of time. Are you watching?  We need to pray for one another, we need more of you Lord . The Spirit of Love! Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Time !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Time !

The word of God says, there is a time for everything under the sun. Read Ecclesiastes 3 :1-11,To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace. What profit hath he that worketh in that wherein he laboureth? I have seen the travail, which God hath given to the sons of men to be exercised in it. He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end. So,lets understand that everything in life has a time on it, by the hand of God. The Bible tells us that we should use our time wisely, its in Colossians 4:5, Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time. Its very important! Also, read  Ephesians 5:15-16,See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Lets read Acts 1:6-9,When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power. But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.  Its all about God's timing, Jesus' work has been done here on earth for now. But, He will return, in His timing. Read verse 10-11,And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven. He will return in time the same way, in a cloud. The word tells us, no man knows the day,the time or the hour, when He will return. You see God's timing is very important. The Bible talks about a man of God who had really bad timing, this man was name Moses. This man was born in hard times, but God had a plan for Moses.  He was the baby protected by God and adopted by Pharaoh's daughter. Moses being raised as royalty, you see  Pharaoh had no sons or any heir,Pharaoh had a plan for Moses. The plan was to make Moses the next Pharaoh of Egypt. But from the beginning of time God had a plan for Moses's life. The word tells us that God knows the plan He has for our life, read Jeremiah 29:11,For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. God wants us to do His will, in His way, in His timing. Lets read Romans 13:11, And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. Its time to wake up! There isn't any area in your life that God will not be willing to help you. It does not matter how big or small, you have a helper (the Holy Spirit) within you. The Holy Spirit is the one who will guide you every step of the way. You simply have to have faith, trust, and believe that God has your life completely in His hands and that He will bring you to the right place, at the right time. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Daily

Good morning,
The word for today is - Daily !
If you read God's word daily you will find the answers for your life. Understand that everyone has sin, so get understanding that we all need help. The help that you need comes from the Lord, its in the word of God. Now, understand this, let us know that when we confess our sins, he forgives us and purifies us. Lets read 1 John 1:8-9, If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say we have no sin, then we are a liar and we make God's word false or not true. Read 1 John 1:10, If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us. You have to understand that God's word is true, His word change not. That means His word dose not change for anyone ! You have to understand that God's word is written for us to live by, its for all who seek to understand the truth. Read 1 John 2:1-3,My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. We all need to pray to our Heavenly Father daily, we all need help daily. The word from God never said life would be easy,he never said we would never suffer pain. Although, He did say that in the end it would work out for our good. He did say that if we trust Him, we can have peace in the middle of our storms. He did say that nothing that goes on in our life goes unnoticed by Him. So know that you are not alone and whatever the outcome is, we will overcome it, by the power of God. Read Romans 8:28, And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. There is a purpose for us to read the word daily. Sometimes, we may have to cry out to God, we will face good and bad times. Just because we have given our lives over to God, does not mean anything bad will never come our way.You have to understand that the Son of God always prayed to the Father daily. Read Romans 5:1-5,Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope:And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.Jesus set an example of daily prayer by praying during all kinds of circumstances, Jesus made it a priority to pray. Read Luke 18:1, And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint. Jesus taught us the importance of daily prayer. The importance of prayer is the Holy Spirit, will lead us, His elect, His children! Now read Luke 18:7-8, And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? He always work things out for us! One of the disciples ask Jesus to teach them how to pray to the Father. Now read Luke 11:2-4, And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples. And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth. Give us day by day our daily bread. And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil. Read Luke chapter 11, the Lord's prayer ! God's word is powerful,we need His word daily! Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Receive !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Receive !

Lets look at Paul he says, that he did not receive his gospel in any way from man.He also says I was not taught it by any man. This is a powerful statement ! Read Galatians 1:12,For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ. Now get this, a man name Ananias was sent to Paul, by the Lord.  But,the purpose for which Ananias was sent to Paul in Damascus was that Paul might receive his sight, and be filled with the Holy Spirit. Read Acts 9:10-12,And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord. And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and enquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he prayeth, And hath seen in a vision a man named Ananias coming in, and putting his hand on him, that he might receive his sight. There are people in your life sent by God also, the question is why? But the gift that is within you came from God, just like Paul. You see man did not give it to you and man can not take it away. So, lets give God thanks, for the greatest gift of all, the gift of the Holy Spirit. Father we give you thanks this morning, we give you praise. Thank you for your gift and your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Work !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Work !
It is written, be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, this is deceiving your own selves. What is your mission? Read James 1:25,But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed. Now lets talk about us doing the (will)work that we are called to do. Lets read Colossians 3:23-24,And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ. We should be working for the Lord everyday, understand that this gives God glory, and honour. The word of God tells the order, and the plan of God for us. Read Acts 20:35,I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive. Also read, Proverbs 10:3-5,The LORD will not suffer the soul of the righteous to famish: but he casteth away the substance of the wicked. He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich. He that gathereth in summer is a wise son: but he that sleepeth in harvest is a son that causeth shame. There is work for us to do, the people are looking for answers. The answers are in the word from God, in the Bible. Lets look at the Proverbs 31 woman, lets see what the Bible say about her,Proverbs 31:28-31, Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her. Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised. Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates. Wow,"Her children and Husband call her blessed." Did you get that? They thank God for her! Many women do noble things, but some people over look them all. Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. Give her the reward she has earned, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate. The woman was praised for all her roles, not just being a mother or wife, but her role as a worker as well. The Proverbs 31 woman was always doing from within her heart for others. That is called true love, the Spirit of God. She was working all the time, even when others slept. Read Ecclesiastes 9:10, Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest. We know that everything works out for our good. Read Romans 8:28,And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Their is a purpose for the call on your life, their is something that only you can do. We ( the believers) are His! Read Ephesians 2:9-10, Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Our work for Christ must have first priority, because our love for Christ must be greater than the love for anyone else. The Lord Jesus said in Matthew 10:37,He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. We are to obey and act upon the Word, not just listen to it. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Deep !

The word for today is -  Deep !
Everyone is building their life on some kind of foundation. There are only two choices: you either build on a solid and deep foundation or you build on a shallow and weak foundation. Read Matthew 7:13-14, Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. The word tells us to plant in good ground. You see some people plant their seeds in rocky ground. Read Matthew 13:5,Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth. Now, lets look at the word from Jesus. Jesus says build your house on a foundation, a deep and strong foundation. Jesus didn't say that once we built our house on the rock that everything would be perfect. No, He said that a flood came in torrents smashing against the house. The key is that the house was built on the rock of Jesus, and the rock of putting His words into practice. Is your house built on Jesus? Did you dig your foundation deep into Him, or was the house hastily erected? Read Luke 6:48,He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock. You see, when the storms come in our life, either it will make us full of trust in God, or angry and brittle, full of doubt and unbelief. You have a free will, its up to you! You can be a wise man or a foolish man. Jesus is calling us to put into action, His word. Here is the key, read Matthew 7:24-27,Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.  Jesus tells us that there are only two kinds of trees planted, read Matthew 7:15-20,Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. There are trees that bear good fruit and trees that bear bad fruit.  You see the bad trees bear bad fruit, the good trees bear good fruit. And Jesus also tells us, that there are two foundations: one that will withstand the storms and one that will not. The picture is very clear. You are either walking God's way, experiencing His transformation in your life and knowing His strength for difficult times, or you are walking away from God, producing nothing of eternal value and are vulnerable to the storms that may come your way. You are one or the other, ask yourself, which one do you think you are? Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today - Joyful !

Good morning,
The word for today - Joyful !

What did John say was his greatest joy? Read 1John 1:3-4,That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full. What did Jesus do knowing the joy that was set before Him? Read Hebrews 12:1-2,Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.The word of God tells us to make a joyful sound from within us.  The word of God tells us to rejoice and praise His name. For the Lord is good. Now get this, this is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glade in it.Read Psalm 98:4-6,Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise. Sing unto the LORD with the harp; with the harp, and the voice of a psalm. With trumpets and sound of cornet make a joyful noise before the LORD, the King.  Lets look at Psalm 33:1-4,Rejoice in the LORD, O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright. Praise the LORD with harp: sing unto him with the psaltery and an instrument of ten strings. Sing unto him a new song; play skilfully with a loud noise. For the word of the LORD is right; and all his works are done in truth. It says all His work, not some are for your good. To be able to make a joyful noise to the Lord, you must first have the joy of the Lord within you. Read Nehemiah 8:9-10, And Nehemiah, which is the Tirshatha, and Ezra the priest the scribe, and the Levites that taught the people, said unto all the people, This day is holy unto the LORD your God; mourn not, nor weep. For all the people wept, when they heard the words of the law. Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our LORD: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength. The Lord wants us to be joyful people. What did Paul say would fulfill his joy? Its in Philippians 2:1-3,If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies, Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. We are to have the same love for one another with gladness.. Now read Psalm 100:1-2,Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands. Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Spiritual !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Spiritual !

Are you Spiritual? Are you walking by the Spirit? What is this Spirit, its the Spirit of God, and that Spirit is love. Read Galatians 5:22-23,But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.Did you not know that the love of God dwells in us? Read Colossians 1:8-11,Who also declared unto us your love in the Spirit. For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;Have you ever noticed how refreshingly fun it is to be around positive thinking people who seem to naturally maintain a positive attitude? No matter how bad the circumstances, negativity never even enters their minds, let alone crosses their lips to form negative, faithless words! But let's be honest, encountering a positive person is a rare occurrence these days. Lets read 1 Peter 2:1-10,Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings, As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious. To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious, Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded. Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner, And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed. But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light; Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy. So for today lets walk by the Spirit of God that dwells in us, lets show some LOVE to one another, lay aside all malice, and all guile, walk by the Spirit. Thank you Lord for your love and your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Why !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Why !

Some people are asking why so much pain in this world or in my life? Lets read Job 15:20,The wicked man travaileth with pain all his days, and the number of years is hidden to the oppressor. Now read this, suffering typically draws us to God and can lead to repentance. This is the most important reason for pain and suffering, although we may not see it now, and many will not agree with this, but its okay. It's clear from testimony that many people who endure suffering cry out to God, help me Lord! You see pain brings us back to Him, in prayer or back to church or reading the Bible again, looking for answers. Only after suffering in the Old Testament individual people turn back to God. This is why so much pain in this world today, some people will not turn back to God. People of the world is walking in darkness, the word tells us to walk by the Spirit of God, that Spirit is light. The word of God says, get understanding, read 1 Peter 4:1-2,Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God. Its not our will, but the will of God.The word tells us that we cannot serve two masters. Read Matthew 6:24, No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. Did you know that? You have to make a choice, you have a free will. Read Proverbs 14:12, There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. You see Satan is the God of this world. Its in the Bible, read 2 Corinthians 4:4, In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. Also, read John 8:44,Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. You see, unsaved people live in darkness. Read Proverbs 23:5-8, Wilt thou set thine eyes upon that which is not? for riches certainly make themselves wings; they fly away as an eagle toward heaven. Eat thou not the bread of him that hath an evil eye, neither desire thou his dainty meats: For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee. The morsel which thou hast eaten shalt thou vomit up, and lose thy sweet words. The word of God tells us to seek the kingdom of God first. Read Matthew 6:31-34,Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. You don't have to worry about tomorrow, God has everything. Read Matthew 6: 26-27, Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? Not one ! Now read Romans 8:5,For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. So, walk by the Spirit ! The word tells us in Matthew 10:22,And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !
