The word for today is - Reward !

 

Are you looking for your reward here on earth? This is Wrong! The word of God says, seek the things that are in heaven, read Matthew 6:19-21, Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. Where is your heart? Have you left your first Love? Your greatest reward is within Him, read Matthew 6:33-34, But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. You don't have to worry about tomorrow, God has everything in Control, there is nothing to hard for God. Many people feel that life is generally a matter of good luck or bad luck, wrong! Do you believe that God is sovereign? The Lord works out everything for His own purpose. It should be encouraging to know that, God has a plan for your life,read Isaiah 46:8-11,Remember this, and shew yourselves men: bring it again to mind, O ye transgressors. Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure: Calling a ravenous bird from the east, the man that executeth my counsel from a far country: yea, I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it. There is something we must do first, Seek the Kingdom of God and his righteousness. We need to hear from God. Are you a wise person or a very foolish person? Understand this, Salvation and Rewards are two totally different things. Salvation is a free gift from God, but rewards are earned by our works after we are saved. The bible is clear about the saved will also receive rewards in Heaven,the level of rewards will be based on works done here on earth. Apparently there are those that will make it to heaven, but who have earned little or no additional rewards. Right after assuring us that salvation is not by works in Ephesians 2, Paul says this, We are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Let the Holy Spirit lead you to do good, read Proverbs 10:1-6, The proverbs of Solomon. A wise son maketh a glad father: but a foolish son is the heaviness of his mother.Treasures of wickedness profit nothing: but righteousness delivereth from death.The Lord will not suffer the soul of the righteous to famish: but he casteth away the substance of the wicked. He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich. He that gathereth in summer is a wise son: but he that sleepeth in harvest is a son that causeth shame. Blessings are upon the head of the just: but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked. Do you have a desire to please God? Read Proverbs 13:19-21, The desire accomplished is sweet to the soul: but it is abomination to fools to depart from evil.He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed. Evil pursueth sinners: but to the righteous good shall be repayed. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !
