The word for today is - Understanding

Good morning,
The word for today is - Understanding !
We need understanding so we can live ! For, me I need to understand things and people in my life, so about a month ago the Spirit of the Lord said read the book of Proverbs. The book of Proverbs? that's me asking? it's the book of wisdom. If you need understanding of anything, then you should ask the Lord what book of the Bible you should be reading. We need to talk more to Him about the things that are going on in our lifes, the Holy Spirit leads us. Let's look at Proverbs chapter 3,My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments: For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee. Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil. It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine. My son, despise not the chastening of the Lord; neither be weary of his correction: For whom the Lord loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth. Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding. For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold. She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her. Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honour. Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace. She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retaineth her. The Lord by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath he established the heavens. By his knowledge the depths are broken up, and the clouds drop down the dew. My son, let not them depart from thine eyes: keep sound wisdom and discretion: So shall they be life unto thy soul, and grace to thy neck. Then shalt thou walk in thy way safely, and thy foot shall not stumble. When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet. Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh. For the Lord shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken. Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it. Say not unto thy neighbour, Go, and come again, and to morrow I will give; when thou hast it by thee. Devise not evil against thy neighbour, seeing he dwelleth securely by thee. Strive not with a man without cause, if he have done thee no harm. Envy thou not the oppressor, and choose none of his ways. For the froward is abomination to the Lord: but his secret is with the righteous. The curse of the Lord is in the house of the wicked: but he blesseth the habitation of the just. Surely he scorneth the scorners: but he giveth grace unto the lowly. The wise shall inherit glory: but shame shall be the promotion of fools. The verses 1-12, is talking about trust, it says Trust in the Lord with all your heart, it says all your heart, then in verses 13- 35,it says that the one who finds this understanding is blessed, Blessed is the one who finds Wisdom. Wow, that's powerful ! It's right there in the bible, it's free do you want it? As we grow in our knowledge of God, through his divine power he gives us everything we need for life and godliness. Read 2 Peter 1:3, According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue. Jesus relied on the Word of God alone to overcome obstacles, including the devil, and we can also. Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is -Boldly !

Good morning,
The word for today is -Boldly !

The blood of Jesus, who through the Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God.  For this reason Jesus is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance, now that he has died as a ransom to set us free from the sins committed under the first covenant, now we can enter in boldly to the throne of grace. Read Hebrews 4:16, Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. He made a way for us to enter in, we have access to God. Thank you Jesus! The law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness. Now, let's read Ephesians 3:12, “In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him”.This verse is speaking of coming to God boldly. We simply cannot measure the reliability of God’s Word by examining our situation or our worthiness. If we do, we’ll end up only seeing that we’re unworthy. And we’ll talk ourselves out of claiming his Word. Now, He gives us all an invitation, read Hebrews 10:19-23, Having therefore brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, By a new and living way which he consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh: And having a high priest over the house of God; Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith  without wavering;( for he is faithful that promised;) Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Good !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Good !
Let's read James 4:17, Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin. Now, the word is saying that you know right from wrong, that is sin. Read Romans 12:21,Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good. Always do your best, sometimes you just need to walk away and let God have His way with people. Just pray for them ! Now, lets look at Matthew 5:10-12,Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. Now, if they persecuted Jesus, who are you? Are you greater then, the great I AM? No! Read Romans 1:16-17, For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. We are to put our confidence and trust in Him  (Jesus) instead of the world. The word tells us we walk by faith not by sight. This is the will of God, how do we know it's the will of God? It's in His word, it is actually clear direction in God's Word. If God has already revealed his will in Scripture, your only response is to obey.  Read Galatians 6:9,And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. Did you get that? The word is telling us to show kindness towards all mankind. Now read Colossians 3:17, And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Strong !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Strong !

It doesn't matter how strong the adversary appears, or how many there may be. There is nothing, nor any person, who can defeat us when our trust is in the Lord.  He is truly all-powerful and all knowing, our strength comes from Him.  Read Psalm 27:14,"Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord." We are to walk in the power of the Lord, He willingly teaches and protects us. But, what does that mean to be strong in the Lord ? Many times we fall because we really haven't learned how to be strong, in the Lord. The word tells us to wait on Him, you will be successful in everything you do, if you study this Book of Instruction ( the bible) continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only, then will you prosper and succeed in all you do. The lord said,This is my command, be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. Read Ephesians 6:10 -11, "Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil." That the battles that are fought are battles that we in ourselves cannot fight, but rather, by clinging to the Word of God, and resting in Him, we know that the battle is already won. Why? Because, God deals with the spiritual battles that rage around us. Nothing that we say or do, in ourselves, will remedy what takes place. It must come from Him. Read Nahum, 1:7, "The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and He knoweth them that trust in Him." Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Sharing !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Sharing !

Let's start with the definition of sharing, Give a portion of (something) to another or others. Now let's read Isaiah 58:7,Is it not to deal (to share) thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to (into) thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh? Let's read Acts 4:32,And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common. The believers are of one Spirit, the Spirit of God.  Amen ! The disciples loved one another. Did you get that? The Spirit of Love (agape love) which is love extended through the spirit. Agape love requires a relationship with God through Jesus Christ, since the non-regenerated soul is unable to love unconditionally. Agape love gives and sacrifices expecting nothing back in return. A disciple of the body of Christ walks in this Spirit, giving and sharing. Love is patient, love is kind, it does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud, it is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.   Read Ephesians 3:6,That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel.  Now just days before He ( Jesus) died, Jesus declared that the Gospel will be preached throughout the entire world. It will be delivered to all the nations of the world before the world itself comes to an end. Read  Matthew 24:14,And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.. After Jesus rose from the dead, he commanded his disciples to share the Gospel.  Read Mark 16:15, And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.  Let's look at perhaps the most famous preacher of the gospel Paul. He considered the task his duty, for sharing the Gospel. The Bible says that this unconditional love is more important than anything else, all things will pass away. But, love is eternal.  So, let's  share (express) love today. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - According!

Good morning,
The word for today is - According!
Let's read John 4:23-24, But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.  We must worship God in truth!  Since His word is true, we must worship Him according to His word. Some people, seem to have forgotten that our worship service is to bring glory and honor to God, and not to entertain ourselves.  In this age and time everything is designed to appeal to our emotions and to entertain us.This is very disrespectful and demeaning toward God to reduce our worship of God to the entertaining of  ourselves.  Worship is not a spectator event.  We dare not become spectators, because in worship it is God who is the spectator. We are as Hebrews 13:15,"By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God,continually, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name."  In worship we must be the participants, not the observers. In Galatians 1:10 the question is asked, "For do I now persuade (seek to please) men, or God? or do I seek  to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ."  Worship is God-centered not man-centered.  When our worship is to please God instead of ourselves, then and only then will our worship be much more meaningful and spiritually uplifting to us and acceptable to God. Jesus says in Matthew 10:37, "He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me:  and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me." Many people never stop to ask, is it scriptural and is this what God said?  They believe that just any kind of worship they give will be acceptable to God. The main reason for all the division that we see in the world today is that man will not accept God’s word as final authority.  Man is going to do it his own way always.  The Bible contains our only instructions on how to please God so we can make it in. God has always told man how He is to be worshipped. He tells us the only way, by Spirit ! God is the only one who has the right (authority) to tell man how to worshipped Him.  He will only accept that which is in harmony with His prescribed will.  God instructs us how, by His word.  In Ephesians 5:17,"Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is." The New Testament has given to us all things we need to know that pertain to life and godliness so we can worship Him in Spirit and truth. How do we worship Him? according to His word. Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Distracted !

The word for today is - Distracted !

Distractions are designed to take your focus off of your future and cause you to become fixated and stuck in your present situation. Some of the most dangerous distractions are those that don't make much noise but creep in while we're at ease. The apparent ease that we enjoy often causes us to forget about the work that still must be done in order for God's promises to manifest in our lives. In Joshua 1:7-8, God gives us some key principles that we can applyin making the transition from our situation to our destinations. The first thing God warns His people of is the danger of becoming distracted. He warns them not to take their focus off of His Word and become distracted by what's going on around them. You will generally encounter distractions when you are getting close to achieving something that will take you to the next level in your life. Let talk about the story of Peter. When Peter began to walk on the water, he did not sink because he couldn't finish what he began to do. He sank because he became distracted and fearful of what was going on around him. As he stepped out and did the impossible, the bible says that the storm around him became more fierce. This is a primary mode of operation of the enemy. If he can't stop you then he will try to distract you. You must be determined to finish what you've begun and be ready to face the certain distractions that will arise. My brothers and sisters in the body of Christ, I was distracted today. Forgive me, it 's a test for all that's in the body of Christ. But, I past the test, the word  was send out. God know was best for all of His children.Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Mission !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Mission !

Do you have a mission (the believers)? Yes! Do you know your mission here on earth? Your mission is to lead people worldwide into a growing relationship with Jesus, to help others grow in there faith. How do we do this,by teaching, speaking, and preaching the truth (the gospel). We are told to share the good news to the nation, throughout  the world, how by the power of the Holy Spirit to the glory of God.  It's our mission to speak to the nation, so they will come to know our Heavenly Father and praise His Holy name. The Lord does not expect us to be perfect like Jesus, tell them, but He knows that we are weak (flesh), but we should be willing to grow in the Spirit. The goal is growth. As long as we keep teaching and speaking the truth of the word ,then people will have a thirst for the word. What is your mission? to be obedience or disobedience? God has place us in a position of both leadership and service. He has called us to give up our lives for someone else's sake, to forget about our own desires and put ours first. Pouring out the good news to others, then you become like Christ.  Read the best example of gracious servanthood it's in John 13:3-16,read it. You have to be willing to stoop down and get your hands dirty. Jesus tells us in Mark 16:15,And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.  We are to speak as the Holy Spirit leads, Jesus always did what pleased the Father. Read John 8:28-31,Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things. And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.As he spake these words, many believed on him. Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed. Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Image !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Image !

We know that, we are created in God's image because the Bible tells us so. Read in Genesis 1:27, So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.  Now, this event happened before the fall of man, but we know that we are still in some sense created in the image of God. Read, 1 Corinthians 11:7,For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man. Also Genesis 9:6 imposes the death penalty because of the fact that man is made in the image of God. The words "image" and "likeness" used in Genesis 1:26-27 express the idea of the whole man being created in this way. I was reading a book today by Myles Munroe, it's awesome! One part he talked about the image of God. God pronounces that we are: " You are the Body of Christ". In verse 26, And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. God has given man free will, which likewise reflects God's image. Every man has the ability to choose for himself his actions. He is morally aware. Man understands that certain things are good and certain things are evil. One of the ways the image of God manifests itself in man is that only man can be aware of God and is capable of fellowshipping with Him. This part of man was exercised freely in the Garden before the fall. All men still are able to comprehend God's existence, but none are able to fellowship with Him unless they have been born again in Christ. So, let's look at 2 Corinthians 3:18, But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. Read Colossians 3:10, And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him. Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Reveal !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Reveal !

How did you start your day this morning? Did you awake with thanks? Thank you Lord for this day! Let 's read Psalm 118: 24,This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. Why are you sad? We have to understand that the Lord has giving us a gift. When ever someone gives you something, you should always say, Thanks or Thank you. During Old Testament times the people did not have the written word of God, therefore God directed them through the prophet who recorded what God told them and that became the written word. For the prophecy came not in the old time by the will of man,  but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. Read  2 Peter 1:21  However, God is now revealing Himself through His written Word for us. Read  Hebrews 1:1-2a says, "God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son. " Jesus Christ is the Word of God as John 1:1,14-16 plainly says, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. . . . And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, full of grace and truth. John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me. And of his fullness have all we received, and grace for grace." Jesus Christ is the word and you cannot separate the Lord Jesus from His word and Hebrews 1:1 is telling us that today God is speaking through the Bible, which is His word. Thank you Lord for your gift, on this day (your word). Amem !

The word for today is - One !

Good morning,
The word for today is - One !

Let's look at Ephesians 4:3- 7, Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. In Hebrews 9:27 we are instructed that we only get one life (no reincarnation) and after this life we will face the judgment of God....Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment. Many would say that the message of Jesus is all about peace and love. Yes, this is true, Jesus loves all of us so much that He was willing to die on the cross for us.The truth is that there is nobody in the Scriptures who talked about hell more than Jesus did. Just consider the following examples read Matthew 10:28,And fear not them which  kill the body but are not able to kill the soul, but rather fear him ( be afraid of the One )which is able  to destroy both soul and body in hell. Read Luke 12:5, But I will forewarn (show ) you whom ye shall fear: Fear him which after he hath killed hath power to cast (throw you) into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him. In John 3:36,He that  believeth on the Son hath everlasting life;and he that believeth not  (rejects )the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. You have to see that,  without Jesus the One and only Savior, you will be facing the judgment of God by yourself. Yes, we  are all guilty before God, but the love of God is so great that He willingly paid for our lawbreaking. Jesus paid for the sins of all ( the believers) ,when He died on the cross, (His sacrifice) so that you could be forgiven and could have eternal life. Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Choosing !

The word for today is - Choosing !

What do you choose to believe, the word from God, or the word from people in the world? There is a  battle between good and evil. You must make a choice. The key is in Proverbs 1:22-23,“ How long, you simple ones, will you love simplicity? For scorners delight in their scorning, And fools hate knowledge. Turn at my rebuke; Surely I will pour out my spirit on you;  I will make my words known to you. Read  2 Timothy 1:8-13,Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me His prisoner, but share with me in the sufferings for the gospel according to the power of God,who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began, but has now been revealed by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, who has abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel,to which I was appointed a preacher, an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles. For this reason I also suffer these things; nevertheless I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him until that Day. Hold fast the pattern of sound words which you have heard from me, in faith and love which are in Christ Jesus.  Believing “what you don't know can't hurt you,”but "what you do know can". God loves humans so much that He became a human,(he send His one and only Son) that as a human.  He suffered and died to demonstrate how much He cares about us, and that He came back to life to demonstrate His power over death. The followers of Jesus Christ are taught that we don't get connected to God because we do good, but rather we do good because we are connected with God. Life works better God's way. It's far too dangerous not to choose Jesus Christ.  Better to make peace with God and avoid hell, than to avoid the issue and find yourself trapped in an eternal nightmare. The word from God  in John 14:5-6,Thomas said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?” Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. Read 1 John 5:12,The Bible says, “The one who has the Son Jesus Christ has life, but the one who does not have the Son does not have life.” Also, read  John 3:16, “For God so loved the word that He gave His one and only Son Jesus Christ, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.”Who do you choose ? If, the one and onlyTrue God of the universe? Then, Cry out (make a sound) I want to make the right choice. I want to choose You. Make Yourself real to me, I pray. Grant me wisdom and courage to choose correctly, because I want to live. Please make the right choice abundantly clear to me, and remove any obstacles that would keep me from choosing You.” Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Fulfillment !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Fulfillment !

First let's look at Romans 13:8, Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. Also, read verse 10, Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law. As obedience brings blessings, disobedience naturally brings curses. Read Ephesians 1:3-8, Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: According as he hath  chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and without blemish before him in love: Having predestined us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.  In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence; Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself. We have direct access to the throne of grace through Jesus Christ. Read Hebrews 4:14-16,Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. Grace is undeserved favor that we receive from God. We are free from any condemnation brought against us and we cannot be separated from the love of God. Let's read Romans 8:31-39,What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth. Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Whom he called,he did foreknow, and he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son. Whom he justified, them he also glorified. It’s time to stop comparing houses, cars, clothes, and bank accounts. It’s time to stop feeling inadequate because we don’t own the outward symbols of success. Instead, it’s time to turn our eyes to our intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. That’s where we’ll experience our greatest fulfillment.  We cannot claim our own salvation, work for it, inherit it, or earn it in any way. It is a gift purchased through extreme suffering by our Lord Jesus Christ, the One true God who cares for us and intercedes on our behalf. Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Walking !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Walking !
First lets look at Matthew 4:4,But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. What takes place in you with the word from God? The renewing of your mind, the Holy Spirit leads you, then transformation takes place in your life when you walk in the Holy Spirit.  Let's read 2 Corinthians 3:17-18,Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. Who actually does the work of sanctification in your life? Look at 1 Peter 1:2,Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied. The work of sanctification is the work of the Holy Spirit. Your part is to keep your eyes focused on Christ and to walk in the Spirit. How should your baptism into Christ’s death affect you? Read Romans 6:4,Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. Walking in newness of life means letting the Holy Spirit now control your life. What kind of life will you live when you are walking in the Spirit? It's in Ephesians 5:1-2,Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour. What will you experience when you walk in the light of the gospel? Power!  Walking in the light is the same as walking in the power of the gospel, since Jesus said, “I am the light of the world.” How much fruit are you able to produce without Christ? None ! Read John 15:4-8, Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.  Walking in the Spirit is the same as abiding in Christ. If we abide in Christ, we will bear much fruit and God will be pleased..The outcome read John 13:34-35,A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another. If anyone claims anything other than what the bible says he is not walking in the spirit of God.Now, the best for last read Ephesians 4: 1-18, I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men. (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.) And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love. This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart: Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is- Order !

Good morning,
The word for today is- Order !

Let's look at Revelation 2:26, And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations. Did you get that? We must keep the word from God in  our heart, then we will be giving power to move forward. Read Romans 12:17-21,Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good. This is the order from the Lord. We are not to seek vengeance, the word tells us, the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.”  Conduct ourself in peace, kindness, and love, this is the Spirit of God. Repay no one evil for evil, but give thought to do what is honorable in the sight of all people. Let's read Ephesians 4:1-6, I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. Read Romans 12:2,And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Read Ephesians 4:26,Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath. Read Psalm 32:8, I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye. The key is in  Ephesians 4:31-32, Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you. Do you not know that,  Corrupt passions of bitterness, wrath, anger, clamour, evil-speaking, and malice, grieve the Holy Spirit? Read Romans 8:1, There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. What is the principle of your walk? Is it, the flesh or the Spirit, the old or the new nature, corruption or grace? How? By asking the Lord, read  Luke 10:25-28, And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou? And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself. And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live. Also,Read Romans 14:10-12, But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God. Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Follow !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Follow !

The definition of "follow" in the dictionary;to go or proceed after; to pursue - seek to attain;  to accept as authority; to copy after - imitate; to walk or proceed along a path. When Jesus says "Follow me," He wants us to pursue after him, to seek him as something that is desired with all our heart, with all our soul, and with all our mind.Read  John 12:26 If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour. We serve Jesus by following in His footsteps in the path He has already laid out for us and has preparedfor us.He wants us to keep our eyes on Him, to watch steadily,to attend closely to him in prayer and supplication, and to accept him as the authority in our life firstand foremost, not because we have to, but because we want to out of love, for He first loved us. Let's look at John 10:27,My sheep hear my voice and I know them and they follow me.Think about it.  Cattle have to be driven. But, Sheep follow their shepherd just by recognizing his voice. Do you hear the voice of Jesus calling you ? Followers of Christ seek to build Jesus' kingdom, not their own. So,what should we do then?  If you want to be a disciple of Christ, start with a humble attitude of repentance and confession.  Followers of Christ also submit to Jesus only!  Jesus also calls all of us to follow him,in all our ways.  There is no possible way for a believer to truly call themself a disciple of Jesus unless they are submitting to the will of Christ on a daily basis. Read  Philippians 3:12,  Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect, but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. To follow Jesus is to press towards the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. The path of our Lord is our path of life. What did Jesus mean when He said, “Take up your cross and follow Me”; Read Matthew 16:24; Mark 8:34; Luke 9:23?" Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Give !

Good morning, Happy Mother's Day to all the mother's;  (god-mom's,and mentors your mother's too)!
The word for today is - Give !

Who is a mother? A gift from God ! Mother’s in the Bible, Eve, Mother of all mankind; Hannah, Mother to the Prophet Samuel; Naomi, Mother-in-law to Ruth; Mary, Mother to Jesus; Elizabeth,Mother of John the Baptist. What does the Bible say about moms? A mother holds a special place in the hearts of all, for without her none of us could be here in physical form and as an expression of the will of God to have humans made in his own image. A mother is so important to us, in fact, that God Himself gives respect to her and her place in our world. Knowing that, what, then, does the Bible say about mothers and Mother’s Day. Mothers are first celebrated by Adam. In the Bible read  Genesis 3:20, “And Adam called his wife’s name Eve; because she was the mother of all living.” It is in this verse, in fact, that the term “mother” is first mentioned. The word Eve is derived from the Hebrew words for, to breathe, and to live. She is our breath and our life, and we celebrate her as the mother of all mankind. So today’s mother has a great responsibility to do what God has required of us. This is a good day to reflect of motherhood and pay tribute to all mothers. Read  Proverbs 31:10-12, 25-31,“Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life. Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come. She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness. She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness. Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her. Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all. Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised. Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.” The bible gives us clear commands of being a mother. From teaching and training to discipline and nurturing. Let's look at the some mother's in the Bible; Here are some of the Godly mothers. Hannah, the mother of Samuel. She promised God that she would dedicate her son completely to Him if God would give her conception. The Bible says, read 1 Samuel 1:11,“And she vowed a vow, and said, O Lord of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the Lord all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head.” Mothers should be willing to put God first and seek to dedicate her child to the service of the Lord. The godly mother will not be so much concerned with how much money their children make when they become adults as how faithful they will be to the Lord and what service they will be to Him.  Another Godly Mother was Mary, the mother of Jesus. The Bible says, read  Luke 1:41-45, “And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost: And she spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb. And whence is this to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? For, lo, as soon as the voice of thy salutation sounded in mine ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy. And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.” We must also teach our children about God.   There are so many negative influences that can lead our children astray.  But if we teach our children about God's word, even if they go astray, they will come back to God and the truth.  For in Ephesians 6:4 it says, "And ye Fathers, (and Mothers do not exasperate) provoke not your children to wrath ; (instead) but, bring them up in the nurture and admonition (training and instruction) of the Lord."  By following this scripture, our children will never be lost. We honor God Himself when we love and honor our own mothers. On this special day, may we thank God for the mothers who have molded our hearts. As we honor them, we fulfill the truth of, read Proverbs 31: 28,“Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.” Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for to day is - Daily !

The word for to day is - Daily !

Let's start with, what do we do daily? Do we give God thanks, daily for starting our day? Do we read His word daily? Do we have a daily devotional? Do we daily think about the good things, God has done in our lifes? What does daily mean to you? What does Daily mean? Daily meanings, something  occurring or done each day; without missing a day; or day-after-day; day-to-day; everyday. How do you become all that God has created you to be? By reading or studying His word daily. We should encourage ourselves by the excellence of our High Priest, to come boldly to the throne of grace. Read Hebrews 4:12, For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. We have boldness to enter into the holiest only by the blood of Jesus; he is our Advocate. Let's look at the Holy Scriptures, they are the word of God. Read  2 Timothy 3:16, All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. Those who would learn the things of God, and be assured of them, must know the Holy Scriptures, for they are the Divine revelation. How do we get this revelation, by asking God to open your spiritual eyes. Read Psalm 119:18,Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law. There is comfort in the word of God. Do you not know that, no man knows the day or the hour when the end of the world will pass away. Read Mark 13:31,Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away. So, Jesus says to all, Watch, that you may be found in peace, without spot, and blameless. The word tells us that it's a light from darkness. Read Psalm 119:105, Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. The word of God directs us, without it we can do nothing. Let's read Luke 11:1, And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray; Only, Jesus Christ can teach us, by his word and Spirit, how to pray. With out the word ,we are like newborn babes. Read 1 Peter 2:2-3, As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: Christ is called a Stone, to teach his servants that he is their protection and security, the foundation on which they are built: If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious. We are elected, or chosen, for a foundation that is everlasting, in Him.The Spirit of Christ dwells in us ; Christ's image is renewed in us daily. The law of loving our neighbour as ourselves, without regard to nation, party, or any other distinction is awesome. According to Paul, there abides now read 1 Corinthians 13:13,“faith, hope, love , these three; but the greatest of these is love. "I definitely believe that all three of these are important.  Without hope of eternal life, you would have no reason to live.  Without love you could not experience the nature of God. We need a daily word from the Lord.Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Knowledge !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Knowledge   !

The word from God tells us in James 1:5, If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.The word “knowledge” in the Bible denotes an understanding, a recognition, or an acknowledgment. To “know” something is to perceive it or to be aware of it. Many times in Scripture, knowledge carries the idea of a deeper appreciation of something or a relationship with someone. The Bible is clear that the knowledge of God is the most valuable knowledge a human being can possess.Unless ,we apply what we learn to our lives, it’s just head knowledge. Yet, we need more than head knowledge. We ought to delve into the Scriptures on a daily basis; for in them we discover what we’re supposed to believe about God and how to live.God’s desire is for all to know Him, appreciate Him, and have a relationship with Him; therefore, He grants to all who truly seek Him the wisdom that leads to knowledge. We know from Scripture that knowledge is a gift from God. Read Proverbs 2:6, For the Lord giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding (the Word of God and that's the wisdom of God results in knowledge and understanding).Let's look at Human knowledge, apart from God, is not only flawed, but the Bible also refers to it as worthless because it isn’t tempered by love , read 1 Corinthians 13:2, And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.  Therefore, the pursuit of knowledge for its own sake, without seeking God, is foolishness. The knowledge man possesses tends to make one proud. “Knowledge puffs up, but love builds up” , read 1 Corinthians 8:1,  Now as touching things offered unto idols, we know that we all have knowledge.Knowledge puffeth up, but charity edifieth. Also, Increasing in the knowledge of God is part of the believers maturity and is something all believers are to experience as we “grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ” 2 Peter 3:18,But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen. The context is crucial to biblical exegesis in that it is one of its most important fundamentals. Why? It’s important to study Bible passages and stories within their context. Taking verses out of context leads to all kinds of error and misunderstanding. Understanding context begins with four principles:literal meaning ,historical setting ,grammar, and synthesis (comparing it with other parts of Scripture for a fuller meaning).  For instance, taking the phrase “God is love” (1 John 4:7-16) out of its context, we might come away thinking that our God loves everything and everyone at all times with a gushing, romantic love. But in its literal and grammatical context, “love” here refers to agape love, the essence of which is sacrifice for the benefit of another, not a sentimental, romantic love. The key is in Proverbs 2,My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee; So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding; Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding; If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures; Then shalt thou understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God. For the Lord giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding. He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly. He keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of his saints. Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgment, and equity; yea, every good path. When wisdom entereth into thine heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul; Discretion shall preserve thee, understanding shall keep thee: Also, read Matthew 7:7-8,Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.. Read that again...Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Unmoveable !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Unmoveable !

Let's look at 1 Corinthians15:58,Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, and unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. The word 'steadfast' literally means 'seated.' It refers to something that is settled. Read Hebrews 10:36, For ye have need of patience, that after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.  In the preceding verse 35 the Apostle Paul wrote, Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. There is the danger of losing our confidence in the Lord and in the Truth if we fail to wait patiently upon him. The passing of time, without seeing the kingdom established is a great test of patience. That is why,  we are reemphasizing the reality of the Truth, and reminding ourselves of the importance of having our faith firmly established in the Word of God. How blessed it is to know that God is faithful! God has reveal his glorious plan to mankind in His word. And not ‘one word’ has ever failed! His promises did not fail during the past year, and we can look forward with confidence this year in knowing that again he who has called us will be “faithful” to us. Read Hebrews10:23, Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; ( for he is faithful that promised;) If we have been steadfast and unmovable, it is because we have put our trust fully in the Lord, and have sought to be guided by his Word. The Truth is designed to mold our lives into the character likeness of the Lord, and it has also been given to us that we might be the Lord’s witnesses, and ambassadors of the kingdom. Our loyalty to the Lord and to the Truth is an individual and personal responsibility.  Also, do you not know that it takes time? So, Radical change does not happen in the lives of people that are quick to give up. But, in those who discipline themselves to obey God's word, and focus on growing in him. It is important that His Law is a lamp unto our feet, guiding our path in righteousness. The truth is when His Law is hidden it does not always show itself when we need it. The only way we can be assured that we follow God’s Law and His Will is to meditate on it day and night. Obedience is better and greater than sacrifice. Read Psalms 1:2,But his delight is in the Law of The Lord and on it he meditates day and night. The Lord’s will is revealed to us through his Word, so we need to study his Word to know his will. Read 2 Timothy 2:15, Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Believe!

Good morning,
The word for today is - Believe !
Read Romans 4:3, For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness. The reason why it was counted to him for righteousness was, that it was such a strong, direct, and unwavering act of confidence in the promise of God.The word "it" here evidently refers to the act of believing, the discussion is solely of the strong act of Abraham's faith , which in some sense was counted to him for righteousness. Did you get that ? The act of Abraham, the strong confidence of his mind in the promises of God, his unwavering assurance that what God had promised him, He would perform, was reckoned for righteousness. The word tells us in Romans 4:18-22, Who against hope believed in hope, that he ( Abraham) might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb: He straggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God. And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform. And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness. Now, verse 23-24 is awesome, it says, Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him; But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead. Let's read James 2:14, What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not work? can faith save him? No! Faith is not a religion. Many times people say "We have our faith".  What is faith? To have faith is to believe in something or someone, to fully trust, to be so confident that you base your actions on what you believe. To have faith is to be fully convinced of the truthfulness and reliability of that in which you believe. Faith is a spiritual substance, faith is a spiritual force. Faith in God must be from the heart. It is not merely intellectual. It is spiritual.Read Romans 10:10-11, "For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.  Faith causes you to know in your heart before you see with your eyes. Let's read 2 Corinthians 5:7,"(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)" Faith brings all the benefits of salvation into our lives,it is the gift of God read,Ephesians 2:8,9. This includes healing, prosperity, peace, love, and joy read 1 Peter 1:8, sanctification of the mind and emotions (the salvation of the soul) and any other benefit which the word of God promises to us.Listen to the Word of God as much as possible. "Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God" read Romans 10:17. Constant attention to the Word of God produces faith, especially if we attend to it with an open heart and mind. What's in your heart? The word "heart" is mentioned 743 times in the Bible. The book of Proverbs encourages us to constantly keep the Word in our hearts and to keep our attention on it read Proverbs 4:20-22. It's believing as you walk that you gain strength. God will not reveal greater things to you until you are faithful in the things He is showing you now. Therefore obedience to the Spirit and what He is showing you through the Word or through your conscience is important in the development of your faith. You cannot have living faith without taking some practical steps of obedience. Act on what God is saying!  Jesus pointed out that, in Luke 12:34, For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Favor !

Good morning,
The word for today is -  Favor !

What exactly is favor? Well, favor is defined as excessive kindness or unfair partiality; preferential treatment: to treat some people with favor. Also, favor means to give special regard to; to treat with goodwill; to show exceptional kindness to someone. Read Esther 2;17; Esther received royal favor above all the other virgins. Sometimes, it means to show extra kindness in comparison to the treatment of others; that is, preferential treatment.God's favor is that God will shut every door that need to be shut in our life and open doors that are shut. How many of us have longed for a miracle, something supernatural, I would say almost every soul on this planet even the ones who don't know Jesus. Do you know that we as God's children have God looking out for us at all times? Some say that, "Favor aint fair." Other believers speak of themselves as being highly favored by God, some even pray for the favor of God during certain troubles and trials in their lives. The reality is, God's favor is automatic when we do exactly what he requires of us. Secondly, it is the favor of God that sustains and maintains us during our times of affliction prior to our blessings. The bible tells us that when God blessed them (Adam and Eve) they became authorized or empowered to do five things that they could not do prior to the blessings, and they were: To be fruitful, multiply, replenish the earth, subdue and finally to have dominion, Read Genesis 1:28. As an added fact, the bible further states that the blessings of the Lord makes one rich or brings increase to him or her and he adds no sorrow to it .Heavenly Father, I thank you that you are God and God alone. It is because of your sovereignty that no one is qualified to question the favor you've bestowed upon us. I thank you for your favor that is the evidence of the pending blessings that you've promised us.Thank you!  It is my prayer Lord, that the spirit of ungratefulness and the lack of unthankfulness be destroyed and instantly be replaced with a spirit of thanksgiving and appreciation towards your many blessings for us. Thank you for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Peace !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Peace !

Read John 14:27,Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. This verse is telling us that the Spirit of the Lord is giving to us, we need not to be afraid. Read 2 Thessalonians 3:16,Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all. This means, No matter where you are, He (Jesus) is there with you. How do you keep this peace? Read Isaiah 26:3, Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Also,Do not seek evil for evil, always seek to do good towards others. Read 1 Peter 3:9-11,Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing. For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it. Who is the greatest example for us Jesus ! Read James 2:14-24, What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect? And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God. Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only. Where is your faith? Is it in obedience to Jesus Christ  or the ways of the world? Let's look at Matthew 5:9, Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. When the Holy Spirit controls our lives, he will produce this kind of fruit in us: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,  gentleness, and self-control. Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Believe !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Believe !

The first question is, Do you believe that I AM who I say that I AM? Read Exodus3:14,And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you. Let's look at Genesis 1:26,And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.  Did you get that? The word from God says, let us make man. Who is us? The Father (God) , the Son (Jesus), and Holy Ghost (Spirit), then in our image. Man created in the image of God. That is why we are Spirit, Soul, and Body.  Let's look at John 14:10, Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. We speak not of ourself, it's the Holy Spirit in us, that's working. It's the same Spirit that is in Jesus, that dwells in us ( the believers). Then, let's look at what the Father has done for us, so we can live. Read 1 John 4:10,Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. The Spirit of God is the Spirit of love. Read Revelation 22:13,I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.  All is confirmed by an open and general invitation to mankind, to come and partake freely of the promises and of the privileges of the gospel. Read Revelation 22 :18-21,For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. Can you read that again? I come quickly ! And while we are busy in the duties of our different stations of life; whatever labours may try us, whatever difficulties may surround us, whatever sorrows may press us down, let us with pleasure hear our Lord proclaiming, Behold, I come quickly; I come to put an end to the labour and suffering of my servants. I come, and my reward of grace is with me, to reward my children.  You have an invitation to come. Thank you God for your word. Amen !
