The word for today is - Activate !

 

You may have heard many people say, that they have faith, but is it activated faith? Activated faith is moving faith! We need to activate our faith walk, read James 2:17-18, Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. Understand this, you have been called for a purpose, to speak and teach the gospel of Jesus Christ. People are searching for answers,people are looking for something to hold on to. We have work to do, we know that although faith is given to all men, but not all men are walking in that faith. And not all men are saved, that is because not all men have received the gospel of Jesus Christ. First it has to come to them through hearing God’s Word, read Romans 10:17-18,So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world. So, faith must be activated and brought to life by hearing God's word. The Lord has anointed us (the believers) to proclaim the good news to the nations, read Luke 4:18-19,The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. We are saved by grace, it is a free gift from God,read Ephesians 2:8-9,For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:Not of works, lest any man should boast. It does not matter whether we have been given great abilities or small, what matters to God is whether we have make good use of what we have been given, whether large or small. Do you know about the story of the  widow woman? Read Mark 12:41-44,And Jesus sat over against the treasury, and beheld how the people cast money into the treasury: and many that were rich cast in much.And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing. And he called unto him his disciples, and saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury:For all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living.The high point to this story is , she had activated faith to know, faith isn’t just something you talk about, its something you do.Faith is only activated when we act, we have faith in God when we do what he

says. Reading and listening to God’s Word without acting on it won’t make you more Spiritual either. You’re fooling yourself if you think it will. It’s not enough to just say that you agree with what God’s Word says on a subject. We must actually do it, God’s Word is meant to be acted upon.The word says, be doers of the word, read James 1:22,But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.We need to be transformed in our minds, read Romans 12:1-4,I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office. We are one (the believers) in the Spirit of God. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !
