Do you not know that your in a race? Do you qualified for the race or disqualified ?Read 2 Corinthians 13:4-5, For though he was crucified through weakness, yet he liveth by the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we shall live with him by the power of God toward you. Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates? This verse is asking you a question? saying, Examine yourselves,do you not realize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you? Unless indeed you fail to meet the test! Are you afraid to run this race? For, me (Sheila) No! Im running to win, I am positioning myself by the word of God, looking to Jesus! Im praying by the word of God for my life, I am a child of the King,nothing is impossible when you are a child of the King, read Matthew 19:26,But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.You must first read and learn to listen to get the instructions from your Heavly Father. Pray,and pray some more for God to reveal Himself to you (his will).Ask yourself are you a disciple of Christ? Our flesh is weak, but the Spirit is strong, read Matthew 26:41,Watch and pray, that you enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.The word says,We cannot do it on our own,with need help from God, read Zechariah 4:6,Then he answered and spoke unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, says the LORD of hosts.Success demands strength from within. Success is to be measured not so much by your position, but by your mindset, who are you seeking or looking to? Read Hebrews 12:1-2,Therefore seeing we also are surrounded with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which does so easily ensnare us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.Looking unto Jesus the author and perfecter of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God. Understand this, if anything or anyone is before God,you need to step away from it, nothing is greater,bigger or powerful then God. One fundamental lesson we as believers must learn is that God knows want is best for us! Once we learn this lesson, things will start to change in our way of seeing, doing, and thinking.When your in a race you must start working out, eating health foods,and getting more rest.You must listen to your instructions, from the one that knows want is best for us.We will benefit from listening to God's word, according to the Bible, read,Matthew 11:15,He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.Listening can be difficult for some people,because true listening requires for you to give another person your full attention.When your in a race to win, God will guide your footsteps, if you move out of the way.God has a divine plan and destiny set up for your life. He is saying,run I have you, I AM (the Lord) with you. Read John 10:27-28,My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. When your in a race for Jesus,you will hear and obey his commandments.The word says,I (the Lord),know the plans I have for you, read Jeremiah 29:11,For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Your a winner,you can totally and completely rely on God's word, He says trust know man, but trust me!Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !
