The word for today is - Poor !

 

The word of God says, open your heart to the poor, read Proverbs 28:26-28,He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool: but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered.He that giveth unto the poor shall not lack: but he that hideth his eyes shall have many a curse. When the wicked rise, men hide themselves: but when they perish, the righteous increase. Are you wise or foolish? Read Proverbs 19:17, He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the Lord; and that which he hath given will he pay him again.We must help one another, this is the will of God. It should be a natural response for people (believers) to help others, yet many of us struggle with reaching out to one another. Why? When we say, that we are the children of God! We should be watching out for one another. Read Isaiah 58:10-11,And if thou draw out thy soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall thy light rise in obscurity, and thy darkness be as the noon day: And the Lord shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not. This is Spiritual growth. Remember, God created Eve for the purpose of helping Adam, from the beginning of time,read Genesis 2:18,And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. Also read Genesis 2:21-22,And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. Wow! Also,remember the words of the Lord,read Acts 20:34-36,Yea, ye yourselves know, that these hands have ministered unto my necessities, and to them that were with me. I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive. And when he had thus spoken, he kneeled down, and prayed with them all. We all have something to give to another. It can be sometime, money, food, or an encouraging word , it can make a difference. Lets walk by the Spirit of God (Love) for one another,read John 13:34-35,A new commandment I give unto you, That you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this shall all men know that you are my disciples, if you have love one to another. God has commanded us to love one another. It is written for us to follow,read Romans 15:4,For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.Thank you Lord for your word.
