The word for today is - Listening !

 

When you call on the Name of Jesus, He is listening, everytime you call His name (Jesus). Although listening may appear to be easy for Jesus, it is often hard for us. Lets look at us, true listening requires for us to give another person your full attention, with Jesus that is very easy !  So, do we give Jesus our full attention?  Listening to God is a choice ! The word says, whoever has a ear to hear, hear  what the Spirit is saying! Let the Spirit speak to your heart, read  Matthew 11:15,He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.The Spirit is speaking to you, are you listening careful ? You must make a decision, to hear from God,we are encouraged to listen closely to what the Spirit is saying. Who are you listening to? The voice of God can be heard and understood if we apply certain biblical principles to hearing what the Holy Spirit of God is saying. Jesus challenges those who heard his message to really listen,not just with their ears, but also with their hearts. If  you are hearing the sound of God's voice, if you believe that God is telling you to do something, then you need to do it. The word says, God always  work things out for our own good. Is the Spirit touching your heart yet? Our Heavenly Father forgive us for not listening to you more. Heavenly Father, give us a yearning Spirit to hear from you. Let us draw near to him, and he will draw near to us! Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !
