The word for today is - Giving !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Giving !

Do you know that giving is a command? Read Deuteronomy 15:7-11,If there be among you a poor man of one of thy brethren within any of thy gates in thy land which the Lord thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not harden thine heart, nor shut thine hand from thy poor brother: But thou shalt open thine hand wide unto him, and shalt surely lend him sufficient for his need, in that which he wanteth. Beware that there be not a thought in thy wicked heart, saying, The seventh year, the year of release, is at hand; and thine eye be evil against thy poor brother, and thou givest him nought; and he cry unto the Lord against thee, and it be sin unto thee. Thou shalt surely give him, and thine heart shall not be grieved when thou givest unto him: because that for this thing the Lord thy God shall bless thee in all thy works, and in all that thou puttest thine hand unto. For the poor shall never cease out of the land: therefore I command thee, saying, Thou shalt open thine hand wide unto thy brother, to thy poor, and to thy needy, in thy land. Now get understanding read Proverbs 29:6-7, In the transgression of an evil man there is a snare: but the righteous doth sing and rejoice. The righteous considereth the cause of the poor: but the wicked regardeth not to know it. So, the wise man does the right thing he or she gives their best, but the wicked man thinks of himself or herself more then others.  Read Acts 20:35, I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive. The word of God says, I the Lord has told you what to do. Are you listening to the word? The word says give from your heart. What is in your heart? According to the Bible, a person's heart reveals his true nature and motivation. Jesus pointed out when observing the widow woman's offering, the significance of the action was driven by her heart. Read Luke 21:1-4, And he looked up, and saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury. And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites. And he said, Of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all: For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had. She gave her best and her last, can you do that? Ask your self, would you give your last to help someone? Read 2 Corinthians 9:7, Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. So, are you a cheerful giver in, giving money, in giving help to others, in giving time to listen, in giving your last? Read Luke 12:34,For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. Father forgive us for not being obedience to your word.Thank you for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Journey !

The word for today is - Journey !
Do you not know that your set apart for a good work ? Your in this world but your not of this world, read John 17:15-18, I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. Your sent by God, your in a race, your on a daily journey. When your journey or assightment is done, then your work here of this world is over. Read John 18:36, Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from here. The kingdom is Spiritual, your of the kingdom of God. Read Romans 12:2, And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. You must be transform, by the renewing of your mind, think of the kingdom of God first. Read Romans 8:9,But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. Our journey is about the kingdom of God, preach and teach about the kingdom. Read Ephesians 2:10, For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Now this is the key note, read Jeremiah 29:11,For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Do you understand that it is the plan of God for you to move forward. There is an assightment that is giving to only you, by God. Read 1 John 2:27,But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. Have you ever broken God's laws? Perhaps you think that you are a "good person" and that God should let you into heaven based on how good you are. Not, true ! If, we take an honest look at how guilty we truly are, we would be horrified. The Scriptures tell us that we must individually receive Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord, then we can have our sins forgiven and experience eternal life, in the kingdom. Read John 1:12-13,But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the children of God, even to them that believe on his name: Who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. The anointing is giving to you for a purpose, read Isaiah 61:1-3,The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified. Get this, the Lord’s Favor is upon His children, He has anointed you to preach to the nations. So, go and do the will of the Lord. You have a mission, a command giving to you by God. Your journey is not done, helping someone or helping even one person to find or hear about (God) eternal life is of more value than anything else you could accomplish in this world. Your not done yet, your still here ! Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Judging !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Judging !

Is it good to judge someone? Read Luke 6:37-38, Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven: Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. God requires forgiveness, else He will not forgive you. If we are unwilling or unable to forgive anyone, God will not forgive you. Read Mark 7:5-6, Then the Pharisees and scribes asked him, Why walk not thy disciples according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashen hands? He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me. That means your judging! Read Luke 6:26-29, Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets. But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you,Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you. And unto him that smiteth thee on the one cheek offer also the other; and him that taketh away thy cloak forbid not to take thy coat also. So, the word of God tells us to love your enemies, and pray for the people that use you. Pray for them, give it to Jesus, He will take care of everything. Peter asked Jesus a question about forgiveness, in Matthew chapter 18. He asked how many times should we forgive somebody. Jesus said, not 7 times but 77 times, the point is that forgiveness is to be a lifestyle. That is where the challenge comes in, it might be easy to forgive someone a couple of times, but how do you keep forgiving someone who then turns around and does the same thing to you time and time again? Now read Matthew 5:19, Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. The word is saying, if you are teaching something, you should be living it also. Amen ! We all need to pray and ask the Heavenly Father to forgive us all. Read Matthew 6:12, And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. First ask the Father to forgive you, and then forgive others. Just say, Father forgive us for the wrongs that we have done to others, as we forgive the wrongs others have done to us. Lets look at Mark 11:25,And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. Thats how its done !!! Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Help !

Good morning,
The word for today is -  Help !

Read Philippians 1:5-7,For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now; Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart; inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defence and confirmation of the gospel, ye all are partakers of my grace. The grace of God, is with thy! If you need help, go to the word of God. If you believe in Him, He will protect you and help you. God's protection is what keeps us safe, it is not our own power or intelligence. God never ever goes to sleep, He is always watching and He is always right there! That does not mean that some bad thing are not going to happen in your life, because that is not true, many times God allows trials and tribulations to come into our lives to teach us a lesson to help us understand something and to bring us closer to Him. We need the protection of the Lord, why ? Because we do not have the power to do it ourself. Read 2 Thessalonians 3:1-3, Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you: And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith. But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil. God's word is true ! God, thought of us before we were in our mothers wombs, you see your birth was not a mistake, God has a plan, because he has a purpose for your life. Life maybe difficult right now, you may be going thru a lot of things, but the Lord never said life was going to be easy, but he said it will work out for your good. What God wants for us is to keep a positive attittude and know that he will see us through.  No problem is permanent, God said He will never give us more than we can handle, or God will not put more on us than we can bear. Do you have faith? Faith in God must be from the heart. Read Romans 10:10, For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Do, we talk what we really believe, or do we act according to what we really believe? Why must we believe God?  Inorder for God to help you, you must believe in Him. Read Hebrews 11:5-6, By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Are you seeking the help from the Lord, or do you think that you can do it another way? Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Dreams !

The word for today is -  Dreams !

Everyone assumes that dreams and visions are coming from God, this is not true! Why? Sometimes, dreams and visions are coming from your own day-to-day activities or problems.Thats you ! Read 2 Timothy 3:16-17,All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. That is God ! Then the other side is from the dark side Satan .We need to make a distinction between visions that come from God and those that come from Satan. Why? Because some visions and dreams are deceiving spirits, they are not from God. We need to know what is really coming from God, and we must think twice before assuming they are coming from God.The word of God says,in 1 John 4:1-3,Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.  So,God spoke to His prophets in dreams and visions and Jesus spoke in parables. Why ? Because it is only  God who can and will reveal the mysteries to us, by His Spirit.  Read Mark 4:9-12,And he said unto them, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear. And when he was alone, they that were about him with the twelve asked of him the parable. And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables:That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.  It is Spiritual !!!! Lets look at Daniel 2:25-29, Then Arioch brought in Daniel before the king in haste, and said thus unto him, I have found a man of the captives of Judah, that will make known unto the king the interpretation. The king answered and said to Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar, Art thou able to make known unto me the dream which I have seen, and the interpretation thereof? Daniel answered in the presence of the king, and said, The secret which the king hath demanded cannot the wise men, the astrologers, the magicians, the soothsayers, shew unto the king; But there is a God in heaven that revealeth secrets, and maketh known to the king Nebuchadnezzar what shall be in the latter days. Thy dream, and the visions of thy head upon thy bed, are these; As for thee, O king, thy thoughts came into thy mind upon thy bed, what should come to pass hereafter: and he that revealeth secrets maketh known to thee what shall come to pass. This means man does not understand the things of God from the flesh, you must get understanding first, God is a Spirit and the things of God comes from the Spiritual Realm. The word says in Daniel 10:13-14, But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia. Now I am come to make thee understand what shall befall thy people in the latter days: for yet the vision is for many days. You have to understand the Holy Spirit is a helper inorder for us to understand the things of God. Read Hebrews 4:12,For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. You see there is Spiritual battles taking place now, its war between the forces of darkness and the kingdom of light. Spiritual warfare, there are also many sides engaged in misinformation and destruction, ever dream or vision is not of God. The Apostle Paul says to be strong in the Lord, and put on the full armor of God ,so that you can stand firm against the schemes of the devil, read Ephesians 6:10-12, Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Your on a battlefield, do you have on your full armor of God (His word)?  Satan is depicted as a formidable enemy who is angry and dangerous, Peter warns the believers to be prudent and on the lookout for this enemy. The enemy is in the Spiritual Realm, he is real, and he is out to devour you. We must become equipped to do battle in the spiritual realm, so never approach the battle field unarmed and unshielded. Thank you Lord for your Spirit that dwells in us, with out your Spirit, we would not understand your ways.We are victorious, we are winners !!!!!!! Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Dependent !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Dependent !

The question for today is, who are you rely on? The word says, trust in God, read  Proverbs 3:5-7,Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil. Now get this, the word says, don't think your wiser then God, He will lean you on the right path. Now read 2 Corinthians 4:16-18,For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. We don't need a doctor for the things that are going on in our life, we need a self-examination. Apostle Paul tells us to examine ourselves, read it in 2 Corinthians 13:5-6, Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates? But I trust that ye shall know that we are not reprobates. Ask yourself are you Cursed ? It says in Jeremiah 17:5-9, Thus saith the Lord; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the Lord. For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited.Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is.For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit. The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? No one, but God sees the heart of every person. In the beginning of time God said in His word I the Lord has giving you everything that you need. Read Genesis 1:29, And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. How many people know all that you need is giving to you as a gift from God daily? Some people rely on their last name, some rely on their mother or father, some rely on other people. The word of God says, in John 8:58, Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.  Jesus is saying, before anything and everything I AM !!!  I am your source, remember that God is faithful to His word and He promises to take care of His people or children. Read Psalm 37:24-25, Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand. I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread. Have you been forsaken for food, a roof over your head (a home), or water? No! When we understand who is in control,  it allow us to take the pressure off of ourselves when things don’t  seem to be going our way. The word says,  God has promised to supply for us,read Philippians 4:19, But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. That means, His way and His timing!! Just wait on the Lord, He has you fear not, read Isaiah 41:13, For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Gratitude !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Gratitude !

Happy Thanksgiving to you all. Are you thankful? Read Psalm 100:1-4, Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands.Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing. Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. You should be thankful, why? because this is God's plan for you. Read Psalm 118:24, This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. We are told to be grateful and do so with joy and prayer. But do we need to be thankful for the problems in our lives? Yes ! Read 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18: “Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” The will of God is that we rejoice and be filled with gratitude and we are to give thanks for everything. Everything means just that, we are to give thanks for everything, not just the good things, but also the bad. Why? Because God knows the plans He has for us ! We may not understand why we are going through trials or tribulation, but it is God’s will. The word of God says, in Psalm 107:1, O give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever. Understand God's mercy is new everyday!!! The key is this, read Matthew 11:28,Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. The rest that you need is in Christ Jesus. Lets read Colossians 3:15, And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. So give thanks unto the Lord for this is His will for your life, He will give you peace within yourself (your heart)! Read Psalm 9:1-2, God's Word tells us that we need to show gratitude. If we face tribulations we are to be grateful as the rewards we will receive will be greater. So,Committing to a lifestyle of daily dying to self and living through Him is the foundation for true humility. Read Luke 9:23, And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. Are you following the will of God? It is a daily walk, give thanks for this day !Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Witness !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Witness !

Are you a witness for Christ? Its in 1 Peter 3:15,But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear. The bible says always be ready to witness of the goodness of Jesus!  The bible says, in Colossians 3:23,And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men. Did you get that? What ever you do, do it for God to get the glory. Some people are living in this world without knowing God. They don't know what is the purpose of life? It is to glorify God ! God created us for His own Glory. So, what does that mean? It means to acknowledge His glory and to value it above all things, and to make it known to others. We all should have a desire to know Him. Read Galatians 3:28,There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. Now read Ephesians 4:1-13, I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.(Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.) And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ. Wow, the message is clear, there is one God that is greater then all, and He has giving us all a gift! Now read Jeremiah 9:23-24, Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches: But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD.  When you witness to others read Psalm 145:18,The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth. Now, the 10 Commandments shows us that we cannot keep God’s law, no matter how sincere we are and no matter how hard we try. We all need help, where does our help come from? Read Psalm 147:5, Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite. When we witness the message:God is forgiving and will forgive us from the moment we begin a relationship with him. Jesus, the Son of God, paid for our sin with his death on a cross, THE DEATH, BURIAL AND RESURRECTION OF JESUS CHRIST. He rose from the dead and offers us this forgiveness. We are made right in God's sight when we trust in His Son Jesus. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Decrease !

Good morning,
The word for today is -  Decrease !

You see, we must decrease, in order for God to increase in us. The word says, get understanding, Jesus wants us to deny ourselves and follow Him. Read Matthew 16:24, Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. “Taking up the cross” this means,God procures our deliverance from earthly, fleshly things possessing our hearts and minds, and He takes away the strongholds over us. How awesome is that? Read 1 Peter 2:1, Therefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speaking. This means when you take up the cross, you should be walking and talking by the Spirit of God. That Spirit is in truth and Love! Read Galatians 5:16-18,This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. The word tells us to be led by the spirit not by the flesh. Also read Ephesians 4:22, That you put off concerning the former way of life the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts. Anything that prevents you from obeying God’s plan for your life is a hindrance and a snare to your spiritual growth. We are crucified with Him on the cross. Now get this, read Romans 6:6, Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that we should no longer serve sin. If you desire to follow Him and to be a true disciple of the Lord you must learn to crucify the flesh with its unholy appetites and take up your cross by dying to the selfish desires of your flesh. Read Matthew 6:19-24,Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness! No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. The word of God tells us let no man think of himself more highly than others. Read Romans 12:3,For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. We walk by faith not by sight! We need you Lord, the message is the ministry of the gospel, its not about us! The message is about the kingdom of God!!! Move out of the way, and let God have His way in your life!! Read John 3:30,He must increase, but I must decrease.Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - News !

Good morning,
The word for today is - News !

Everybody is looking or listening to the news searching for anwers. Well, I have some good news to tell you, the news is this, the only good news is the word of God. His word is truth, His word is life, His word is the only way to the Father, His word is the only way in, His word says, I AM the way and the truth, His word is forever more. Are you reading the right paper or the right book? The greatest book that ever been giving to us is the Bible. In the bible it says, in Mark 16:15, And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Do you not know this is a command giving to us by God? Read Matthew 28:19, Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. You see the word of God tells us, teach and preach about the kingdow to come. Read Matthew 24:14, And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. Also the word says, don't worry.  Read Galatians 6:9,And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. So, we must stand up and go into the nations, teaching and preaching the good news, the gospel of Jesus Christ, that is your asignment. We are called by God, to speak the good news, to the people. Read 2 Thessalonians 2:14-15, Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle. Do you hear the sound of God, calling you? You are a servant of the Lord, just like Paul, read Romans 1:1-6,Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God, (Which he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures,) Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh; And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead: By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name: Among whom are ye also the called of Jesus Christ. The good news is this, all that you need is in the word of God. We are caught in a battle between the forces of the good and evil. The good news is, Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of the prophecies of the Old Testament of the coming Redeemer. Jesus Christ is the Messiah. Jesus Christ lived a perfect sinless life for us.  He conquered sin for us. Jesus Christ died for my sins, once and for all. Jesus Christ rose from the dead.  He conquered death that I might have eternal life. Jesus Christ ascended to heaven where He is interceding for me.  He tells me to stop sinning, yet if I do sin and repent, He is interceding his blood before the Father and will forgive us. And, Jesus Christ is coming back to take His people to the new heaven. God has a plan, you see He doesn't want anyone to perish at the judgment. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Healer !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Healer !

Who claims to be our Healer? God says, in Exodus 15:26,And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee. When Jesus was on earth, when someone came to Him for healing, He never referred the person to Luke, the “Physician.” Jesus healed the person directly and personally, and He healed them either with His Word, which we have today, or He healed them with natural methods. Read 1 Corinthians 2:14 says, But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. In other words"the unspiritual man (the natural, or "soulish" man) does not accept the things of the Spirit of God; for they are foolishness to him; and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually understood." This text tells us that the natural man, the unspiritual man, cannot understand spiritual things.  "They are foolishness to him."Jesus never used drugs, although we know that some types of drugs were available in His time. When Jesus was on the Cross, He was offered a type of drug to ease His pain, but He refused it. Jesus certainly did miraculous healings when He was on earth, but there was always one requirement. The person wanting to be healed had to believe. He or she had to believe that Jesus would do what He had already promised to do. In Ezekiel 12:25, the Lord says, For I am the LORD: I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall come to pass; it shall be no more prolonged: for in your days, O rebellious house, will I say the word, and will perform it, saith the Lord GOD. Read James 5:14-15,Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. Then the word tells us in Titus 1:2-3, In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began; But hath in due times manifested his word through preaching, which is committed unto me according to the commandment of God our Saviour. Wow, we will be healed, it we believe the word of God and do want it says. Now read Psalm 103:1-5,Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's. Do you not know that this is the power of God? Is anything to hard for God? No!  Lets look at the will of God, in 3 John 1:2, Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. Now thats something to think about. So,God's will is for us to prosper and be in good health? Yes! We are His children, He always wants the best for us! A father always wants the best for their children, Amen? Do you need to be healed, from something? Then,go to the Lord in prayer, then you must believe whatever you have ask for, that it is done. The word of God says, I AM your healer, all you have to do is ask and believe ! Thank you Lord for your word. Amen!

The word for today is - Need !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Need !

We need to grow, many Scriptures describe the need to grow and mature Spiritually. Why, because some people fall and others don't know Him. Some people are at a stand still in their walk, then other people believe anything that sounds good, and some people are true to them self, others cause strife because of ignorance or become stumblingblocks to others. Read 1 Corinthians 10:12, Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall. The Scriptures teaches that growth in the Spiritual things is always needed in us, we can not do it without the help of the Holy Spirit. We are children in Christ! Read Ephesians 4:14-15, That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ. This means that you will not believe everything a person says, it has to line up with the word of God. We need the true gospel of Jesus Christ, the word tells us that man can not live on bread alone. Read Matthew 4:4, But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. You have to understand that a child will fall while learning to walk many times, and thats the same thing with people, if they don't know the word. Read Matthew 16:24,Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. If you are a true disciple you will continue in the word (study). Read John 8:31-32, Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. Wow,Do you want to be free? Read Luke 14:26, If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. Do you understand, no one comes before God. Jesus is quite clear from this statement that a disciple of his must not value any other relationship higher than their relationship with him. If any other human relationship takes preeminence over God, than that person is not a true disciple. Jesus says, that they are, “not worthy of me (Him).” Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Hope !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Hope !

Lets look at Galatians 5:5,For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.Read Romans 5:5,And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. Now read 1 Peter 1:3-5,Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. We can always find something to be thankful for, think about that for one second __________, Lord we give you thanks ! Now read Luke 12:22-28, And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on.The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment.Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls? And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit? If ye then be not able to do that thing which is least, why take ye thought for the rest? Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith? Ask yourself, do you have faith in Jesus? Is your hope in Jesus Christ or youself ? It says in 1 Peter 5:6-7, Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. Your hope is in Jesus, give it to Him, He knows what is best for us. Its all about His timing!  Read Philippians 4:6-7,Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Why are you worrying? The word says,do not worry about anything, talk to God about everything. Thank him for what you have. Ask him for what you need, do not worry about tomorrow, tomorrow will take care of it self. So, worrying is a waste of very precious time. Worrying won't help you solve a problem or bring about a solution, so why waste your time and energy on it? Do you not know that worrying is the opposite of trusting in God. When we become a new person in Christ, we also leave behind that suffocating burden of worrying. The time has come for you either to believe or deny His (Jesus) teachings (His word). Your response to Him will determine not only your values and lifestyle, but your eternal destiny as well. Your hope is in Him!Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Praise !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Praise !

We are told to enter into His presence with praise! The word of God says, let everything that has breath praise Him (the Lord)! Read Psalm 150:1-6,Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp.Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs.Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals.Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.Let us never forget that praise belongs to God, not to us.The first time that the word 'praise' is used in the Bible, is in Genesis 29:35,And she conceived again, and bare a son: and she said, Now will I praise the Lord: therefore she called his name Judah; and left bearing.. In that verse Leah has just given birth to Jacob's son, Judah. Read Psalm 100:2,Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing. We have to praise Him in the good times and the bad times. So, serve Him with gladness!!! In thebook of  Psalms we find that David had declared that he would praise the Lord with all of his heart, soul, and body at all times. Like David we should sing praises to the Lord as long as we live read Psalm 104:33,I will sing unto the Lord as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being. It says,as long as we live! You can read Psalm11:1, Psalm 138:1,Psalm 108:1 & Psalm 103:1. It says in Psalm71:15,My mouth shall shew forth thy righteousness and thy salvation all the day; for I know not the numbers thereof.. According to Psalm145:21 and 149:6 our mouth is to speak His praise. His praise is to be on our lips in (Psalm34:1); indeed, our lips are to overflow with praise to Him in (Psalm119:171). His praise is to take place more then just once a week. "Sing to the Lord, praise His name, proclaim His salvation everyday of your life. Lord,we praise your name, for this is the day that the Lord has made. Read Psalm 118:24,This is the day which the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. Amen? Praise His Holy Name !!!!!Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Redemption !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Redemption !

Read Colossians 1:14, In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins. Jesus Christ has paid the price for you and I.  Read Galatians 2:20,I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. Wow, who do you know, other then Jesus Christ, that would lay down and die for you? Some parents say this all the time to their children, but this is not the will of God. You see this is not your asignment, its not your mission, you can not save your children, nothing but the blood of Jesus can save us all.Jesus Christ died, was buried, and resurrected as ransom for human sin. Now read 1 Peter 1:18-21,Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God. So, your faith and hope is in Him, the bible says, in John 14:6, Jesus said unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes unto the Father, but by me. Our Lord and Savior, sent His one and only Son to save us, read John 3:16, For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. This is true love, in order for us to live, God shows the depth of His love for us, that he was willing to give his only Son into the hands of sinful men. This was the will of God, man did not take His life, He laid down His life for us the believers. When you are saved and born again, the Bible tells us that we now become new creations in Jesus Christ. Our slates have now been wiped fully clean, and we have now been given a brand new start in this life. Now read Psalm 111:9, He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend is his name. You have to get understanding, read Romans 6:1-5, What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Amen !

Good morning,
The word for today is -  Amen !

Lets start with Matthew 5:37, But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these comes from evil. Do you know, why do you say Amen? In the middle of a sermon, message, someone in the congregation will always say, "Amen!" However, many do not know its meaning, some people thinks that it simply means, "the end."  God is not impressed with people who say," Amen",some people give an Amen simply out of habit. God's word Amen is truth and we agree with the absolute truth, that is the meanning. It is to be firm or solid in the sense of permanency or faithfulness,it means to be sure or true. Some people think that being wise is good, but wise in what? Yourself? It is usually motivated by pride, rebellion and ignorance. The cure for this is therefore to humble yourself, and change your way of thinking (the mind), and choose to believe God's word. The bible says,"Professing to be wise, they became fools." Read Romans 1:21-25,Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen ! So,are you saying, Amen to the message (the word of God) or to the messager? God's people are commanded to give an amen or assent to the word of God. In doing so, they are asserting that this is the truth and that they are in agreement with all that has been said, God's word. Whenever we pronounce the 'Amen' or 'truth' to the laws and commandments of God, we are giving witness or testimony to our confidence in it. Amen ! So when you say Amen, it really should be considered a solemn oath of agreement before God, which should never be uttered lightly. You see thats why the word of God says, study the word of God. Why? Read 2 Timothy 3:16-17, All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. If you live by His word you should be reading it everyday, it's your spiritual food. You don't go many days without eating do you? No ! You would die, if you don't feed off the Word of God then your Spirit is missing something that food can not fulfill. God is looking for Humility and Dilligence people. So,when we say Amen, it should only mean that we believe and we are faithful to His word. We must cultivate a personal relationship with God. Its personal, we can not live without Him, His word.  Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is- Storms !

Good morning,
The word for today is- Storms !
We find ourselves in the midst of storms, in life. But, we know that's the way life is, we can read of such a storm in the life of the Apostle Paul, read Act 27:21-26, But after long abstinence Paul stood forth in the midst of them, and said, Sirs, ye should have hearkened unto me, and not have loosed from Crete, and to have gained this harm and loss. And now I exhort you to be of good cheer: for there shall be no loss of any man's life among you, but of the ship. For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve, Saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Caesar: and, lo, God hath given thee all them that sail with thee. Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me. Howbeit we must be cast upon a certain island. The sailors on Paul's ship took some actions that made things worse. We tend to do some of these same things when we find ourselves in a storm. There are storms we're dragged into by other people. That's where we find the Apostle Paul. He was a prisoner who had tried to warn them! But they wouldn't listen so he was dragged into his storm by others. Some people will follow the crowd, sometimes the crowd is going the wrong way. Paul believed in God and could say, "Be of good cheer," even in the midst of his storm. You can rely on the same God, who brought him through the storm. This means to put your faith in God and His Word.  Paul’s unshakable confidence in God made him a leader among many people, even though he was a prisoner of Rome.Paul used his belief to strengthen the hearts of others. So, through the storm of life trust God, He will bring you through it. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Works !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Works !

It is important that each believer examine his or her own heart and life, and make sure that they possess true saving faith. Read James 2;13-18, For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment. What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. Wow! You see dead faith is good for nothing, some people with this kind of faith can quote the right verses from the Bible, but their walk does not measure up to their talk of the word. You may ask how can this be? It is because some people have never really submitted themselves to God. You see God is Love, in all that you do, do it with love or in love for others. Read James 2:24-26, Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only. Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way? For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.Do you understand that its about your Spirit, you can dress up the outter man, but you can not dress up the Spiritual man. The word of God tells us, that we are to live from the inside out, we are the light of the world,so the light in you could over take the darkness of this world. Let the Spirit of God come out of you, man looks at the outside, but God sees from within, your heart, the word says in 1 John 4:4,You are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. We belong to God,we are able to overcome the world. There are 2 forces in existence, the one in us is the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of God (love) and the one in the world is Satan(evil). We need to know that the source of our strength and victory is in God. Our reliance on God is the key to our victory. If you choose to rely on your own ability, you are bound to lose. We need to spend quality time with God, meditate on His word, and confess His word over our lives. In 2 Corinthians 5:7, For we walk by faith, not by sight. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Search !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Search !

Lets start with a open mind first, man is searching for God. You don't have to search for him, he is everywhere. The Bible states very clearly that God speaks through nature. We have enough evidence to point us in the right direction. God's revelation of himself through nature,God is omnipresent this means being present everywhere at the same time. David says in Psalm 139:7-10,Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me. It is by Spirit that the Father has complete access to the universe. God has made himself known to us supremely by entering human history by His Son Jesus Christ and taking upon himself our human nature. The Bible declares that he lived a perfect human life, and then he died on the cross for our sins to reconcile us to God, that he rose from the dead, that he now reigns as Lord, and that he will one day return to judge the world. The Bible itself claims that you will grow in faith the more you read and meditate upon the word of God. Now get this, God knows that you can not figure it out by yourself, so he gave us a helper, (the Holy Spirit) and the bible, you have to open your Bible and begin reading and meditate upon the word. The word is not enough, what we need is the hunger and thirst to read it, in order for us to get understanding. God is eager to give us what we need, the more we spend time in His word, the more the word itself will generate this hunger within us to know Him. Do you have a hunger for natural food or Spiritual food? The Bible itself claims that you will grow in faith the more we read and meditate upon the word of God. The Lord spoke these words in Joshua 1:8, This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. Joshua was instructed to meditate day and night, and we are instructed to do the same. You see we can not walk around speaking some other gospel, there is only one true gospel and that is the gospel of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The word tells us let the word of God dwell in you, read Colossians 3:16,Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. Do you see the key word? The word is in your heart! To have the word of God indwelling richly in us requires more, involve careful study, thoughtful consideration, prayer in the spirit, speaking and sharing the word with others, helping others to know the truth of the living God. Study to acquire knowledge of the doctrines of the Bible. We need to take advantage of the opportunities the Lord has given us for meditation in His word, a practice that has the power to transform us and make us a blessing to others if we understand its value and learn its secrets. Its a free gift, do you want it? Wisdom is another benefit of meditating on God's word, it is something that man cannot take away from you, because it did not come from man, it came from God. So,lets look at a particular application of meditating on God's word and its benefits: the Lord Jesus being tempted by the Devil in the wilderness. After His baptism, at which time the Father spoke from heaven and the Holy Spirit descended on Him in the form of a dove, Jesus was led by the Spirit into the desert, where he fasted for forty days and nights. What He was doing during that time the Bible doesn't say directly, but there are strong indications that He was meditating on the word of God, even a particular portion of Scripture. Read Deuteronomy 8:3,And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD doth man live. Lord search our hearts, if their is anything that is not like you remove it! We need more of you and less of ourself. Read Matthew 7:8,For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Knock the door will open for you! Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Covenant !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Covenant !

When we read the Old Testament of the Bible, we see that after sin entered into the world, the blood sacrifice of animals for the atonement of sins was shed. But the blood of the animals still couldn't do the trick. The Israelites were still unfaithful to God as evidenced by their awhoring after other gods. So,a better sacrifice was needed. Lets look at God's covenants with man first. So, what does this mean? It means that God has an agreement with man.The agreement is, His word is true, His word is faithful and justice. If God said it, its done! Read Hebrews 6:18,That by two immutable things, in that it was impossible for God to lie, we might have strong encouragement, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us. God's word tells us that God is not like man He can not lie, why because He did not come from man. Read Numbers 23:19,God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: has he said, and shall he not do it? or has he spoken, and shall he not make it good? God made unilateral arrangement with mankind through His Son, Jesus Christ. Read John 3:16, For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. You see this is the grace of God, that is giving to us and for us. Read Ephesians 2:8-9, For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. We are clearly taught from God's Word that works are not essential to our salvation. Read Titus 3:5, it says, Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost. As a matter of fact, the Bible is speaking of Eternal Security when it tells us that God cannot lie, this was a promised before the world began, read Titus 1:1-4,Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God's elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness; In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began; But hath in due times manifested his word through preaching, which is committed unto me according to the commandment of God our Saviour; To Titus, mine own son after the common faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour. The animal sacrifices of the Old Testament were only a picture of the ultimate sacrifice. When Jesus Christ went to the cross almost 2,000 years ago, He was the ultimate sacrifice. The animal sacrifices of the Old Testament was a picture figure, of the true sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Their blood was only a figure of the blood of Jesus that would be shed thousands of years later on a cross outside the city of Jeruselem. The blood of animals had to be shed over and over but the blood of Jesus was shed only one time. Its done ! Read Hebrews 7:27, Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people's: for this he did once, when he offered up himself. For you and I, the believers! Now read Hebrews 9:15,And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. Did you get that? The believers are under the new covenant by the shedding of the blood of Jesus. Lord, we thank you for your one and only Son Jesus! Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Authority !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Authority !

“Authority” means “the right to command and enforce obedience.” When we accept Jesus Christ as our “Lord,” this means that He has become our “boss” or “authority” over our whole life. Read Luke 6:45-46, A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh. And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? In addition, the Bible becomes the source of authoritative instruction for our life read 2 Timothy 3:16-17, All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. Since submission to authority is basic to a believers life, it is important that we understand that all authority is a God-given institution, and all types of authority are related. Christ is the highest source of authority that we must answer to read Matthew 28:18,And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. We have authority from people in this world that we must also submit to, first the word of God,read Acts 5:29,Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men. The leadership of the church, its in Hebrews 13:17,Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you. Our parents have authority over us, its in the word read Ephesians 6:1-3, Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise; That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth. Also the law of God for the land, read Romans 13:1-2, Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. Also the authority of a man, read 1 Corinthians 11:3, But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God. Authority must be understood by every believer since it is the entire basis of our relationship with Christ. When people deal with Scripture, they are dealing with God himself, the creator of the universe, the one who has all power in heaven and earth, and who knows all things. You are dealing with the one whose opinions count, whose word is automatically truth because he knows everything, and because he does not lie. God himself is a rock and a strong  foundation, and his words are faithful and true. Therefore, anyone who does not approach the scripture with fear of the Lord, either does not know Scriptures or does not know who the Lord is. The firm foundation of God’s Word must be the anchor for our soul, our hope is in Him. My hope is built on Jesus’ blood and righteousness. It is on this solid Rock that I anchor my soul and hold fast until the storms of life are passed. Build on the word, it will stand forever.Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Possible !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Possible !

Lets start with Jesus talking to his disciples, Matthew 19:24-30, And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved? But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible. Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore? And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life. But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first. The benefits and blessings from our mouth is a major key to receiving what God has provided for us by his grace. We should realise that in Proverbs 18:21, it says, Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.   The Bible has much to say on this subject, especially in the Book of Proverbs ( Proverbs 10:19, 20, 31, 32; 12:18, 22; 14:23, 33; 15:1, 4, 28). Jesus said, "But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it on the day of judgment. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned." So, you need to confess the Word of God, this means to say the same thing that God's Word says over your life. In saying the word yourself, you identify with the truth of God's Word, that all things are possible with God. Read Luke 18:27, And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God. Sometimes it is difficult to speak consistently with what the Bible says because our minds are not sufficiently renewed. We still have doubt in our souls. We must reprogram our subconscious minds to accept God's principles and God's promises without doubt. You have to get understanding first, if God said it, its done. Something has to take place in us, our way of thinking. Read Romans 12:2, And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. When we are in Christ and we have the promise of God, we have the right to speak about everything God has promised as if it existed even before our natural senses are conscious of it. It is our faith that gives substance to this confession of things not seen. For example, if we have believed God for anything, we can talk about it before we see it. We should realise that God has already "given us all things that pertain to life and godliness." Read Romans 4:17, (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were. Most people normally walk by sight for their eyes show them the way. But, believers are told to walk by faith and not by sight,Spiritually speaking! In 2 Corinthians 5:7, Paul tells us that as believers, we walk by faith, not by sight. So, with God all things are possible! Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Vain !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Vain !

The question is, do you know that your living is not in vain? Read Deuteronomy 28:1-10, And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God. Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field. Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep.Blessed shall be thy basket and thy store. Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out. The LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways. The LORD shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all that thou settest thine hand unto; and he shall bless thee in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee. The LORD shall establish thee an holy people unto himself,as he hath sworn unto thee,if thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy God,and walk in his ways. And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the LORD; and they shall be afraid of thee. People shall see that the Lord is with thy! We need strong people to do the will of God. You and I know that a nation is only as strong as the people that make up that nation. So, people need to be strong in the Lord, we also know that a church is only as strong as the members and leader who make up the church. The bible says, in Psalm 1:1-6,Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish. As you know from your Bible history, Solomon was a great king and he was the son of King David. The thing which probably characterized his administration was the fact that he was the one selected to build the temple in the Old Testament. Solomon was a man who understood building. He understood what was involved in building. For instance, Solomon would surely understand that building is hard work. It's not an easy thing to build. If you have a construction project there is hard work involved,so we need the help of the God (his Spirit) in everything that we put our hands to do. Thats in the Spirit of love. Lets read 1 Corinthians 15:58, Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. It's hard work to build a business. Businessmen know it is hard work, and it takes long hours. It takes financial sacrifice, it takes extensive training, if you are going to build a good business. If it takes all that time and effort to build a business, we should not think for a minute that somehow marriage and family are just going to automatically work and it won't take a lot of work. So, if you are going to build anything ,it is important to have a good general contractor to build it. Do you have the best contractor building for you or in you. You have to understand that, unless Jesus Christ is the general contractor in your life everything will fall. If you have a God-oriented foundation, if you get your convictions and values and standards and directions from what God has revealed in the Bible, then you will have a proper authority in your family or your business. You see it takes oneness, God must be the first and final authority upon which the home is built ! The work of the Lord is obedience to his holy word; every believer in Christ is a workman of God. He that works not, to bring glory to God and good to man, is not acknowledged as a servant of Christ; and if he be not a servant, he is not a son; and if he is not a son, then he is not an heir of the kingdom. And he must not only work, but abound in that work, then you will know that your living is not in vain ! Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Way !

Good morning,
The word for today is -  Way !

While Jesus was on earth there was much confusion about who He was. Some thought He was a wise man or a great prophet. Others thought He was a madman. Still others couldn't decide or didn't care. Jesus Christ confronted His followers with the most important issue or question they would ever face, the time has come for them either to believe or deny His teachings. The question Jesus ask was, who do you say that I AM ? Jesus said,in John 10:30,  "I and my Father are one." Wow, so are you ready to know God? Are you ready to be saved from your sins? Are you ready to repent, that means to make a change? Making a change from the world's ways of living and to follow Jesus wherever he may lead you. Christ died for you, He was buried, and He rose again on the third day,for you, do you believe that? In the book of Romans chapter 10:9-10,it says,That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Are you looking for away out, of darkness. The word tells us that it is time to repent and run to Jesus. Read Mark 1:14-15,Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel. Did you get that? Jesus said, the time is fulfilled,God is on His way back. In John 14:5-6, Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Read that again, Jesus says, He is the only way to the Father. Now lets look at 1 Timothy 2:5-6,For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time. The time is at hand, the time is now!  The word of God tells to seek God first, read Isaiah 55:6-7,Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. The word says, you are lose, you need to return to God. He is waiting for you, many people assume there are many paths to God and that each religion represents an aspect of truth. Not true !  Jesus says, I am the way , the only way into heaven. There is no other way to the Father. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Work !

The word for today is - Work !

The question is," what is your job?" From the very beginning of time in the Bible in Genesis 2 we learn that work was part of God's creative plan. Read Genesis 2:15,And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. So, work is a good and positive part of our daily activity. Not working because we can't be bothered with people is not an option. The ones that are not working and can, are to busy in other things that are not good. The word from God says, that some people are not busy in good things, but they are busybodies in everything that is not like Him. It is the word of God read it for yourself. The Bible tells us," the one who is unwilling to work shall not eat,” read 2 Thessalonians 3:10-12, For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat. For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies. Now them that are such we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread. Lets look at Ecclesiastes 9:10,Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest. So, there is work for you to do. Read Colossians 3:23-24, And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ. So, as you work, you are not working for man, you are working as to the Lord. Get this, you are not a servant to man, it is Christ we are serving. We are called to work hard at everything because our ultimate reward is in Heaven not on Earth. For it is God's will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish men. Live as free men, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as servants of God. Now read,Psalm 1:1-6, Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. So, are your ways righteous or ungodly in your walk and your way of talking. Do you know, that this is a command of God's, to walk to the counsel of the word from God. If, you choose to walk in the ways of the ungodly then you will fall. Read Hebrews 13:5,Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. In others words, (NIV),Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said,“Never will I leave you;never will I forsake you.” The word is saying, it is good to work, but some employers may expect employees to work long hours which may lead to the employee spending long hours at work instead of focusing on serving God. And the word says, in Luke 9:25,For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away? Thank you Lord for your word.Amen !
