The word for today is - Battle !

The word for today is - Battle !

Do you not know that a Distraction is,mental turmoil? The act of distracting is drawing someone's attention away from something. This is a drawing apart; separation, derangement of the mind. This is the act of Satan, going after your mind. Let's look at Jahaziel prophesies after the Spirit of God comes upon him.  In 2 Chronicles 20, And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the Lord unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's. If, Jehoshaphat had tried to fight this battle, he would have lost it. God told him, "for the battle is not yours but the Lord's". There are some battles that are not ours to fight . We'll never win ! We'll lose some battles because they are not ours to fight.  We have to turn them over to the Lord. A powerful example of someone strong in the Lord’s power is Michael, the archangel, read in Jude 9. Michael, likely the most powerful of all of God’s angels, did not rebuke Satan in his own power but said, “The Lord rebuke you!” When it came to his conflict with Satan, Michael rebuked Satan in Jesus's name and authority, not his own. It is only through our relationship with Jesus Christ that believers have any authority over Satan and his demons. It is only in His Name  ( Jesus ) that our rebuke has any power. There is somethings our Father is showing us, it's about learning , His power and His authority over everything that is . Psalm 119:71,  It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes. Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - World !

Good morning,
The word for today is - World !

The word of God says ,We are in this world ,but not of the world. God has provided a way of escape . It's clear that knowing Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior is the way to escape the world’s corruption. Let's look at this first the world is not the same as the earth , Genesis 1:1 In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth. The ruler of the world is Satan read 1 John 5:19 ,And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness. Some people may ask a question ? "How can believers be in the world, but not of the world?" By the simple definition that the word world refers to a world system ruled by Satan. The word tells us that the believers are no longer of the world. People of the world will know that there is something “different” about us. How? Our way of living, it should be pure and clean, both in heart and conversation. We are the temple of the Holy Ghost, the Spirit of God dwells in us (the believers). It's in the word 1 Corinthians 3:16, Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?  Let's look at John 15:18-19, If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you ( this is Jesus talking) . If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: ( the people of the world would love you) but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world ( Who did it? Not you. But, Jesus did it !),therefore the world hateth you. Do you see it's not us (the believe) who they hate, it's the God in us ! We are no longer ruled by sin, nor are we bound by the principles of the world. The believers are simply in the world physically, but not of it (spiritual), not part of its values read John 17:14-15. As believers, we are set apart from the world. This is the meaning of being holy and living a holy, righteous life. We are not to engage in the sinful activities the world promotes, nor are we to retain the insipid, corrupt mind that the world creates. We are not to be conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of our minds. Read Romans 12.  This is a daily activity and commitment.  Thank you God for  your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Cross !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Cross !

The gospel is the message of the cross. We are to "submit to the power of the cross". We are to have "faith in the cross". We are to place ourself on the cross." Do you not know that "the cross is divine."  Let's first look at what took place at the cross, the place of the crucifixion , Jesus gave His life as ransom for many ,Matthew 20:28; Mark 10:45; I Timothy 2:6.  Let's look at what took place last, from the cross Jesus said, "It is finished" and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost, John 19:30. Then we see the first day of the week comes Mary Magdalene early morning, she sees the stone taken away from the (tomb) sepulchre. She runs and tells the disciple, they have taken away the Lord's body, and we know not where they have laid him.. They forgot the words Jesus told them, He said that he must rise again from the dead. Look at this Mary weeping, Woman why weepest thou? whom seekest thou? This is Jesus talking to her. Jesus calls out  her name Mary ,she turned  to Him. He tells her touch me not, for I  am not yet ascended to my Father. He then the same day came and stood in the midst of the disciples and said unto them,Peace be unto you. He then did the same thing after eight days again. Why because of Thomas, he was not there the first time Jesus came. Jesus says to Thomas because you have seen me you believed , he said blessed are they that have not seen and yet have believed.  That s the key, you must believe the word of God! Thank you God for your word. Amen!

The word for today is - Message !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Message !

Matthew 17:20, And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.The mustard-seed is the smallest of all seeds.Jesus is saying to us, Because of your little faith (unbelief).  Let's read chapter Luke 7, the widow mother her only son that was dead, the Lord saw her , he had compassion on her and said unto her, Weep not. He said to the Young man, I say unto thee. Arise. He that was dead sat up and began to speak. Mark 9:23 , Jesus said unto him, "'If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth."Do you not see the key ? (It's that we must believe in our heart), read John 11:40, Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God ? Read this chapter 11,you will see the dead come forth, Jesus cried out Lazarus come forth. He had to call Him by name or all that was dead would come forth. Things are done by faith.  Do you not know, what's in you. According to the Bible, a person's heart reveals his or her true nature and motivation. In Jeremiah 17:10, the Bible says that God "searches the heart."  Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Promise,Plan and purpose !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Promise,Plan and purpose !

In Philippians 4:19 it  says, But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. This is a promise by God, to supply all your needs only, not your wants. Amen ! There is something we must do, what is that? Ask ! Read Matthew 7:7,Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:Ye have not, because ye ask not. God promises to give us wisdom if we just ask Him in prayer, believing that He will give it. James 1:5, “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God,that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him".  God’s plan for life is revealed in the Book of Genesis. God does have a great plan for our lifes! Jeremiah 29:11,  For I know the thoughts  (plans) that  I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. This is the plan to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future’” .  Remember that God's ultimate purpose for all of us is that He would be glorified . Read 1 Corinthians 10:31, Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God. We have to get to a place in God to know, that we know everything is working out for our good. Let's read, Philippians 1:6, Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Process !

The word for today is - Process !

First, let me say Happy Thanksgiving. This is the Day that the Lord Has Made; Let Us Rejoice and Be Glad in It. Psalms 118:24. Let's look at the process  going on in our (life) walk. The process is to have the fruits of the Spirit, Galatians 5, But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. The word is telling us to walk what way? Let's look at Galatians 5,This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. You must know that you know that your in the will of God. Amen ! The grief process at the onset is difficult, but as time passes we'll begin again to look for reasons to hope, then grief turns to hope. Look in John 10 it says, "And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; nor shall anyone snatch them out of My hand." Let's look at the healing process. In most of the healing stories of the Gospels, Jesus asks people to believe that he can heal them. In the word Jesus tells,  the people that he healed, “your faith has made you (whole ) well." Ephesians 5, See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise. Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Make the decision to let God be God. But it helps immensely when we realized there is somebody  more qualified than Jesus ,who is in charge of our life. It certainly isn't easy, and it certainly doesn't happen overnight.  Read John 3:16, "whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." 2 Corinthians 5:7, where Paul says, “ For we walk by faith, not by sight.” So we are to live by faith in God, not in our way of thinking. Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Give !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Give !

When we give ourselves to God, we are simply saying that we are going to do all that God expects us to do.The more that we seek God, the more that we will learn who he is and why we are here. You love God with all your heart, by loving Him will all of your emotions. You love God with all your Soul ,by loving Him with all of your powers at your desposal.
You love God with all your mind, by using your brain!  We have to give something back to Him, ( sometime with Him). Amen! Let's first look at Genesis 2:7, And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. Did you get that? That's some time with mankind, He didn't speak, He formed man from the ground. The first thing is He gave us Life. The Creator, he gives( life) being to all creatures and things. Genesis 1:26-27,And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. Now, let's look at the words (in our image) ,would you say God is talking to someone?  Okay, He says in our image? He's telling us something. What image is that? Let's read Genesis chapter 1 and chapter 2. Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Heart !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Heart !

Let's look at the heart. The word "heart"  (appears) in the King James Bible 830 times. What does the bible say in Mark 12:30,"And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy HEART, and with all thy SOUL, and with all thy  MIND, and with all thy  STRENGTH : this is the first commandment.   Jesus tells us in John 14:6, "I am the way, the Truth, and the Life, no man cometh unto the Father but by Me."  He is feeling something ( love ) for us, He is telling us the only way to the Father. Are you really listening to what is being said. Let's look at the widow woman's offering in Luke 21, the widow woman gave more to the temple by giving two coins. Why? Because of what was in her heart (she gave all that she had). Philippians 4:6-7, Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.  And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. We have to ask God to do something in us, that only He can do. What is it? Read, Psalm 51:10,Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. Let's look at Proverbs 23:7, For as he thinketh in his heart, so [is] he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart [is] not with thee. God is telling us to love Him with your whole heart. Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Lying !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Lying !

Let us first give a definition as to what a lie is according to Webster’s dictionary:To make a false statement in order to evade the truth. To make a statement that one knows is false, especially with the intent to deceive. Also, knowing your giving a wrong impression, a false image. The word says in James 3:14,  But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, do not be arrogant and so lie against the truth. It is certainly true that if we knowingly tell someone that we are going to do something while at the same time knowing that we have no intentions of following through on our promise or commitment, then, we are guilty of lying , there was intent to deceive that person. God always keep His Word. God still keeps His Word today and is faithful to keep every promise,He isn't like man. That is why He is reliable and we can trust Him always. Thank you God for your word is true. We are called to be like Him. Romans 13:13 tells us we are to walk "honestly." We are not to walk in  "rioting and drunkenness". 1 Corinthians 3:3 tells us that "envying, strife and division"  this is a sign of a carnal mind. Galatians 5:20 lists strife as one of the works of the flesh. Are we walking in the Spirit or in flesh? Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Day !

 Good morning,
The word for today is - Day !

This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it,  Psalms 118:24. No matter what's going on in your life, at this very moment  praise God for His new day.The Lord did not grant us another day on earth to worry about what's going to happen next. He gave it to us to rejoice and be glad in it. We don't have to be filled with fear. We have to know that God is with us,He will get us through what ever we have to face. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change and though the mountains slip into the heart of the sea; though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains quake at its swelling pride. The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our stronghold, Psalm 46:1-3,7. This is the day we have to be thankful for.  We all have days when the last thing we want to do is rejoice. Days when our situation is out of control,  and we are feeling overwhelmed with things. We are to ask the Lord for help, to help us regain our joy back. Matthew 11:28,  Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Your are to be in Christ and Christ in you.  Matthew 6:21, For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Focus!

Good morning,
The word for today is - Focus!

When it comes to spiritual growth, most of us know it requires focus, dedication, devotion, and sustained effort. The word tells us in Matthew 6:24,No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.God gives us away out. Move forward.  Philippians 3:13, 14, "Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. We need to get in a place with God, to say that neither height nor death nor angles nor demons, anything or anyone "can separate me from the love of Christ. Why do we go to the house of God?  To worship the Lord . And what?  Focus on Him.   When we get sidetracked and think about everything and everybody around us, that is, losing focus.  Our everyday walk can be off., if everything we're doing  is for people and nothing for Christ then this is losing focus.  Some people are doing to many things at one time that's not good. Why do we need to stay focused? God has a plan for our life. It's a perfect plan. So,  if God has a perfect plan for us, we need to ask ourself , "am I fulfilling God's perfect plan?"  If not ,are you getting off track? Are you for getting the things behind you and going forward? The bible says, "He whom the son sets free is free indeed."  Let's look  in the Scriptures, Jesus stated, “Who hath ears to hear, let him hear… in Romans 10:17 which states, “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.” We have to have time for God everyday. Why look at Isaiah 5:13,14 which says, “Therefore my people are gone into captivity, (why?) because they have no knowledge... therefore hell has Enlarged  herself, and opened her mouth without measure:...” why? because man rejected knowledge hell enlarged herself   The word says study, 2 Timothy 2:15, Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - First !

Good morning,
The word for today is -  First !

The word says "put God first" in our lives. But what does that really mean? It means I would be reading the word everyday. I would be praying, asking God for understanding. Let's look at Matthew 7, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it shall be opened. Do you not know that  Jesus spent a lot of time praying. He prayed for hours at a time, especially at difficult times. He when to the Father , (Our Father who art in Heaven), read Matthew 6:9-13, this is "The Lord's Prayer" and is the most popular prayer in all of history. Ask yourself if you are doing everything you can to discern God's will. Ask yourself the really hard question, is this what I want to believe, or is this what the Bible says?  Matthew 6:33, But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.Peter brought up the subject of rewards to Jesus. We have left our families and our houses and our jobs all behind and have followed you. What shall be our reward? "Verily I say unto you”, which means, “Now listen carefully and mark my words". HIs word is true,God rewards the believers with eternal life.  Jesus speaks of every one who has forsaken all that he has for Christ’s sake, and for the sake of the furtherance of the Kingdom of Christ. We must understand this verse with spiritual eyes. Who are these who have forsaken all that they have? These are the saints who have put Christ first in their lives, and who have placed all other things and other people who enter their lives in second priority to Christ. God is always first nothing or anyone comes before Him. Amen! Thank you Jesus for your word. Amen!

The word for today is - Ashamed !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Ashamed !

What does the bible say about being ashamed of God?"...whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of Me and of My Words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of Man be ashamed, when He cometh in the glory of His Father with the holy angels," Mark 8:38. If you listen carefully, Jesus will plainly speak to you with direction and guidance. Some things that are said are easier to accept than others. But, like Peter, we want to correct God’s plans if it is something that we do not agree with or want to hear. ,  Just like us sometimes, failed to understand having confessed Jesus as being Christ did not give him the authority to correct Jesus or his mission for us. No wonder Jesus stopped and turned to his disciples and rebuked Peter. “Get behind me, Satan!” Why confess that Jesus is Christ if you won’t listen to him and be ashamed of him? The bible says, "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jews first, and also to the Gentile. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith" Roman 1:16-17. Are we walking by what the word says or what mankind is telling us? Do you not know the power is in the word of God ?  I say to you, that if two or three of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them by my Father who is in heaven.""For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them."Matthew 18. Think carefully about  this question. Who do people say I am? ”But what about you?” he asked, “Who do you say I am?”Peter answered, “You are the Christ". The same question is for us today? Who do you say He is ? Do you not know ,"The thief comes not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I have come so that they may have life and have it more abundantly,"John 10:10. This is talking about your way of thinking and talking ( your mind).  Thank you for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Say !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Say !

Let's look at everyday life. Many people come into our presents and say many things. We have all heard the expression, "you are what you eat", but it's also true to say "you are what you think."  My question to you today is this, what does God's Word Say? It says meditate on it day and night. This is talking about the word of God ( the Bible ). Some people may say,  ( I ) or they just don't have time to read the word of God everyday.  We have to take time out for Him ( Jesus ). Amen ! Think about this , if Jesus didn't have time for us! Where would we be today ?  Only God knows. Sometimes our problems are too big to handle. We need to know what the word says to us and for us. Christ  promises that He will give us rest from our problems. Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest ,Matthew 11:28. Let's look at Psalm 82:3-4: "Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed. Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked."No matter what decision may come before you, no matter how conflicted you may be, no matter how unfair a situation may be, don’t let your desires, or your emotions guide your behavior. Go to the Lord in prayer.  Through prayer and searching the Scriptures, ( seek ) what does God’s Word say about it?  He loves it when His children come to Him for answers.   In Jeremiah 33:3, He says to call unto Him, and He will show you great and mighty things.  In II Chronicles 16:9, God says His eyes run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is turned totally to Him.  In Isaiah 65:24, God says that He will answer before we even finish calling  Him. Do you not know the Divine power of God? Look at the beginning of time He speaks: God said, what?  Let there be light and there was light. Thank you God for your word.  Amen !

The word for today is - Thanks !

Good morning,
The word for today is -  Thanks !

Psalm 100:4:"Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise: be thankful unto Him, and bless His name." We are commanded first of all to enter His gates with thanksgiving. We are to have an attitude of thankfulness before we even come before God.  Thank you God for waking us up this morning and starting our day. Amen ! 1Thessalonians 5:18 says,  In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. What’s the will of God concerning you? That in everything we give thanks. We can always find something to be thankful for. God is telling us that we should be grateful that we have breath in our body, and His brand new mercy everyday. This is well pleasing in his sight (God).  Now lets look at this verse it does not say to give thanks for everything, but in everything. That is why we need to give thanks to Him, to worship Him  in the midst of our trial. We need to worship and not worry. He is with us no matter what is going on. Isaiah 41:10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. It is not because of anything that we have done but because of His love and mercy. Acts 10:34 tells us that God is no respecter of persons. What He does for one He can do for others.Time is the greatest opportunity of your life. Don’t waste a minute of it.Thank God for this day.  Thank you Jesus for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Discernment !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Discernment !

The Bible is under attack from all sides. Satan knows that it tells the truth about him, and the victory that Jesus had at the cross, and what will happen in the future. If you believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, then stand on every word. For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart, Hebrews 4:12. God has placed a lot of importance upon His words. Matthew 24:35 reads, "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my Words shall not pass away." It is important that we judge things properly, or discern. Discernment by outward appearances, out of ignorance, can be a problem. Consider our lack of discernment, read  John 7 . He tells us, You must not judge by the appearance of things but by the reality! It is a very bad  when we don't care if our prayers and ministry are effective.  Clearly, we need to learn to judge properly before we act. We need discernment. Our prayers and ministry would be effective,if we willing to ask, willing to wait, willing to listen, we might gain discernment, so that we could  know, and not have to waver. We might achieve real faith. We would see past the surface, into reality. The word says If any of you lack wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given unto him, read James chapter 1. Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Sorry ( repent) !

The word for today is - Sorry ( repent) !

The word "repent," which signifies God's desire and demand of men. The word therefore signifies a changing of the mind. Paul's words are still true, "God commands all men everywhere to repent" ,Acts 17:30. Our Lord is not slack in his promise to return, he is longsuffering. His patience provides time and opportunity for us to repent of our sins and turn to Him. Do you not know God sees all, and knows all things. When people are not able to see you, you must know that God does. He is a forgiving God. Will God give us a second chance? Yes !  He is a God of a second chance, it is important that you forgive yourself and others. So many people live in the shadows of their past because they simply can’t forgive themselves. If you don’t forgive yourself, you will live in shame and doubt for the rest of your life.  When others condemn you or when you feel unforgiven, you need to embrace what  Paul wrote; ‘...there is therefore no condemnation (false guilt) to those who are in Christ Jesus. The word tells us, don’t be discouraged! God is moving on our behalf.I know that this is difficult to understand, but God’s grace is always there for you when you ask for His forgiveness. Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is -Day !

Good morning,
The word for today is -Day !

Let's look at Psalm 118:24,This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. This is telling us ,the first thing we should do when we wake up,is give the Lord thanks.  He didn't have to do. It also tells us to rejoice in it, ( make a sweet sound  or walk with a smile ) from your lips. Amen!  What does Psalms 118:24 mean to you?  Think about it. This is short and true. No matter what is going on in your life, at this very moment  praise God for His new day. Thank you God for this day. Amen !

The word for today is - Humble !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Humble !

Love is not arrogant. This refers to pride as something deep within the inner mankind, his heart. Love does not boast, looking at what we have and what we want others to see, hear, and acknowledge his or her accomplishments. This is not of God, this is of yourself. Love is not rude. Rudeness is a wrong view of oneself. You think of yourself more highly than you ought to think . It's far better to humble yourself than to get to the point where God must humble you. God had to humble some people in the Bible read 1 Samuel 16. Read 1 Peter 5, Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time. In Matthew 11:29 , Jesus says, "Take my yoke upon you and learn of me, for I am meek and lowly in heart (gentle and humble)." He goes on to say that "ye shall find rest unto your souls" by doing this. When we are really humble, we do not need to worry. We trust God with everything, now and in the future. He knows how to be content. He trusts and obeys the Lord. He does not love anything in this world too much, because he loves the Lord. A humble individual does things without regard to personal gain. It is nice when you apologize or admit you made a mistake. God can tell the difference between true humility and the pretense of humility.  Read Colossians 2. True humility focuses upon God, not upon impressing other people with self-imposed rules to make others believe that you are humble.Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Victory !

Good morning,
The word for today is  - Victory !

The word tells us fear not. Philippians 4:13, I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. Let's look at Deuteronomy 20:4,For the LORD your God is he that goeth with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you. Let's look at Paul,he endured hardship because, as he said, all who will live godly in Christ Jesus "shall suffer persecution." He endured all these things. James 1:12-14, Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man, But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. This is telling us that  if anyone who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.The Lord Himself endured great suffering. He endured the hatred of the people He came to save. He endured the agony of Gethsemane. He endured the cross of Calvary for our sins. He learned obedience through His sufferings.  But He chose to be obedient and to endure.
Let's look at the word in, 2 Corinthians 12:9-10,  And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong. "Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Mind !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Mind !

Let's look in Ephesians 6 concerning Spiritual Warfare. This is a battle for life and the destiny of your eternal soul. We are in a spiritual battle that makes military conflicts pale in comparison. I simply want to remind you of the spiritual conflict that we are in and that a major element in this war is the battle for your mind. In Ephesians chapter 6, tells us be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand firm against the devil. If you do not have your armor on, you will lose the battle. Understand that you will be attacked. Let's look at who will be attacking you by the word of God,1 Peter 5:8, Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour. Spiritual warfare is real, and a major element in it is the battle for your mind. God wants you to know the truth and live accordingly. Our adversary, (Satan) wants you to believe lies. Look in Genesis 3, And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die. In the beginning there has been a battle for the mind with Satan . Battle for the mind continuing throughout the time of Moses in which was to keep fighting with the children of Israel because they kept believing lies and would not believe God. Matthew  7:15 "Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep's' clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits."   Look in  Romans, "be not conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind..."  Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is Plan !

Good morning,
The word for today is Plan !

God said in His word, I know the plans I have for you. The Lord created the heavens and the earth, and all that is in them. God made you for a reason, he also decided when you would be born and how long you would live. He planned the days of your life in advance, choosing the exact time of your birth and death . The providence of God is working to bring about His original plan for creation. An all-wise, all-powerful God must have a plan, so it should be no surprise that the Bible speaks of a divine plan. God’s sovereignty reaches every individual lives. But God is God alone, and there are no “accidents” in the universe. Many people think that Moses went up on Mount Sinai and came down with the Ten Commandments, two pieces of stone written on by the finger of God. While that is true, that is not all that he came down with ; go and read through, Exodus 19. God’s plan includes a reward for those who trust in Him.  He has a plan for our lives, which includes our happiness and His glory both in this world and in the world to come.Thank you God for your word. Amen ! Follow Me!!!

The word for today is - Order !

Good morning,
The word for today is -  Order !

The first thing we must do is in 1 Corinthians 14:40  “Let all things be done decently and in order” ( in the right manner). Let’s understand what "decently and in order" means. Paul was not referring to absolute control by a pastor. He was referring to the moving of the Holy Spirit in our midst. Without confusion, discord.  Paul says, the order is determined by the Holy Spirit not man!  God does not require the offering of unmeaningful words. Yet, this has been a device of mankind. Mankind is to always have order. Anyone that does not have order in them is out of order (out of the will of God). We should seek to build up others always. We should ask the Father to forgive us for anything we have said or done that is out of the will of God. Amen !  For God is not a God of disorder but of peace. God said in His word , I am present with you in spirit,  and delight to see how orderly you are.1 Corinthians 14:33, For God is not [the author] of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.  2 Chronicles 7:14, If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. Only then ! Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Rely!

Good morning,
The word for today is - Rely!
We are told to be careful how we walk, not as unwise men, but as wise. Let's look at Ephesians 5:15, 16 , See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise (carefully). Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Faith needs to be build on God's Word. We cannot rely on others,  we can only rely on God's Word to know the truth! The word from God says the truth sets you free, your free from everything that people say and think.   You have to get to a place in God to know want the word says. Amen ! Does he speak and then not act? No!  Does he promise and not fulfill?" No!  We can trust God's Word. It is the only source that will never lie to us. Proverbs 3:5-6 ,"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths."The word is telling us, the Spirit of truth, comes ( the Holy Spirit) he will guide you into all truth." The word says in  2 Timothy 2:15, "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."   God is in control, He is not surprised by anything, He is going to take care of his children. Everyone needs a bit of encouragement from time to time. Thankfully we have the Bible as our ultimate source of encouraging words! We need to take time out to read the word, and ask the Holy Spirit for understanding. The word says in Matthew 7:7, Ask, and it shall be given you, seek and ye shall find, knock and it shall be opened unto you. The word is clear read the Bible it says everyone that asketh receiveth.  Are you asking ? Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - still !

Good morning,
The word for today is - still !

Be still and know that I am God!  Psalm 46:10. This does not say know God , but to know that He is God is significant because just knowing that He is God should instill peace in our hearts.  Also, knowing that He is God means that we also know that He is in control and that He loves us,and He extends His grace and mercy.  As Paul says, His grace is sufficient. Knowing that He is God, takes the pressure off of our shoulders to be in control and allows God to take over.  The word from God tells us, do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but it's the Lords'. You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you, Read , 2 Chronicles 20. He does not want us to be intimidated by the terror tactics of the enemy. The word says for us to resist the devil, to raise the shield of faith. Don’t run, don’t hide, don’t cower in fear. Confront the enemy!  Position yourselves and stand still, does not mean, “Stand still and do nothing!” It means don’t worry, don’t fret, just put your trust in the Lord. Walk with your head up. The word tells us to set your mind on the things that are above, not on things on the earth. Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Faithful !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Faithful !

We must remember that the Bible wasn't written to us, but for us. Let's first look at God's faithfulness. God's faithfulness is something that will always prove true. The Bible tells us that, God is Faithful, True, and Unchanging. God is full of compassion and gracious, slow to anger and plenteous in mercy and truth. It's in the word, Exodus 34.6, The Lord God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth.. In Psalm 33:4,  For the word of the LORD is right and  all his works are done in truth. He is faithful in all he does. Jeremiah 10.10, But the Lord is the true God, he is the living God,
and an everlasting King.  He is the One ‘Who cannot lie".  In  Psalm 143:1 , Hear my prayer, O Lord, give ear to my supplications; in thy faithfulness answer me, and in thy righteousness. This prayer is asking the Father for something, listen to my cry for mercy, in your faithfulness and righteousness come to my relief. ( Help )! This is a awesome prayer. Amen !  Let's look at the story of the woman that had confidence that she would be healed if she could just touch Jesus' clothing. This was a  woman who had been suffering for twelve years. She had endured much under many physicians, and had spent all that she had and she was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse (no better). Read it; The woman who touched Jesus’ Garment ,Mark 5:21-34 . She had heard about Jesus, and came up behind him in the crowd and touched his garment, for she said, "If I may touch  but his clothes, I shall be whole (well)."Jesus turned , immediately, about in the crowd and said", "Who touched my clothes?" The woman came in fearing and trembling, she  came and fell down before him, and told him all (the-whole )truth. Jesus tells her thy (your) faith has made you whole (well). She was healed not because Jesus wanted to heal her,  but rather because she had faith in Him.   Where is your faith ? Is your faith in God or man ? The word tells us in Titus 3:5, Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost. Let's look at  Ephesians 2:8, For by grace are ye saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God .  Do you see that it's a gift from your Father. Do you want it ? John 1:12, But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name. Thank you God for your gift. Amen !

The word for today is - Evil !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Evil !

Let's look at Romans 12:17 , Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. Amen ! God is telling us, For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not. Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another. The word from God says but overcome evil with good. Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: We are not to think like the world. Read  Proverbs chapter 24. Do not say, "I'll do to him as he has done to me; I'll pay that man back for what he did." God says to love your enemies. But I tell you who hear me: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you read in Luke 6. Anyone who claims to be in the light but hates his brother is still in darkness. Whoever loves his brother lives in the light, and there is nothing in him to make him stumble read 1 John 2. The word from God is  ,A new command I give you: Love one another, as I have loved you, in John 13.  So you must love one another, . Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Glory !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Glory !

1 Corinthians 10:31,Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God. In everything give thanks to God.  Let's look at the glory in John 17:16-17,They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. We are not of this world, we are His disciples we have a great work to do for the glory of God. Christ does not pray that we might be rich and great in the world, but that we might be kept, strengthened, and brought safe to Him. This is awesome, He is saying a prayer for us the believers. The Glory of God is with us ! Philippians 2:11, And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. It is to the glory of God the Father, to confess that Jesus Christ is Lord; for it is his will, that all men should honour the Son as they honour the Father, read John 5. Thank you God for your word, your word is true. Amen !

The word for today is - Think !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Think !
Choose words carefully, ( he that refraineth his lips is wise) Proverbs 10, and refuse to bad mouth others , James 3. Finally, in some cases, the best thing to say is nothing at all. As it's said in Proverbs 17:28, "Even a fool when he holdeth his peace, is counted wise.."  What circumstances lead you to say things that later, you wish you had said differently? While you’re talking, consider what you’re saying and keep a close watch on the reactions. The Bible maintains that gossip does not serve a useful purpose. The word from God says, 'Love thy neighbor as thyself , Mark 12.  Jesus' Golden Rule is, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." We should not say or do anything unless we can answer "Yes" to the question, "Would I want that said or done to me?" No!  Should we fail to do good things for others. No ! There is no place for hatred, holding a grudge or getting even in the life of a believer.  Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you . This is the word from God. Thank you God for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Change !

The word for today is - Change !
Forgive me my mother called  .  So, lets look at the word for today, change. The word from God says, God change not. The Bible teaches that God is eternal. (God is eternal and does not change). The Bible describes God as unchangeable.  In Psalm 90," From everlasting to everlasting , thou art God."  Amen !  The question is for some people, "Does God change His mind?"No !  In James 1 it tells us, “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.” In Numbers 23 it's clear, “God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should change His mind. Does He speak and then not act? No! Does He promise and not fulfill?” No! God does not change His mind. These verses assert that God is unchanging and unchangeable. God does not regret His decisions, but He is saddened by some of what man sometimes does in response to His decisions. God does not change His mind but rather acts consistently with His Word in response to our actions. when the Bible speaks of God changing His mind, it must be understood that the circumstance or situation has changed, not God. So when Exodus 32:14 and 1 Samuel 15:11-29  talk about God changing His mind, it is simply describing a change of dispensation, and outward dealings, toward man. If anything changes it must change for the better or the worse, because a change that makes no difference is not a change. If you change something to please mankind  that's for the worse, but if you do something which is a change for the better that is good. It says in  Romans 12:2,  And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect  will of God. Let's look at Galatians 1:10, For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? No! For if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ. Thank you God for your word. Amen !
