In the beginning He chose us, but some people will turn away from Him. Read John 6:70,Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil? Jesus is saying,one of you have the spirit of the devil, one of you will betray me (is of the evil one). We have to get a greater understanding of the word of God. The word of God says,You did not choose me, but I chose you for a purpose. I the Lord elect you, I the Lord set you apart from the beginning of time with a purpose in mind. Read John 15:16,You have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that you should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever you shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it to you. I the Lord appointed or ordained you to do my will at appointed time. So, you wil be successful in your work for the Lord. The word of God says, to move forward, you can do it, you were sent forth by God,read Luke 10:2,Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few: pray you therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth laborers into his harvest. You Heavenly Father is with thy! Read John15:5,I am the vine, you are the branches: He that abides in me, and I in him, the same brings forth much fruit: for without me you can do nothing. In other words, if you separate yourself from Christ you will fail. If you think that you can do anything without Christ in your life your wrong! If your unwillingly to seek him, and get strength from him your going to fall.This means the word is not rooted in your heart, your not convinced that the word of God is truth. Unwillingly means,not willing; hesitant or loath: unwilling to face facts.Also not will to learn the truth. Read Matthew 13:19-21,When any one hears the word of the kingdom, and understands it not, then comes the wicked one, and catches away that which was sown in his heart. This is he who received seed by the way side.But he that received the seed in stony places, the same is he that hears the word, and immediately with joy receives it;Yet has he not root in himself, but endures for a while: for when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he is offended. Lets look at when Jesus called the twelve disciples together,he gave them power and authority first. He sent them out two by two and gave them authority over evil spirits. Jesus sent out the twelve disciples with instructions, to teach all nations. The Jews thought it was that life under the Messiah would be confined to their own nation.This is not true! Read Matthew 28:19,Go you therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. You see its about God's timing.The disciples are told to go everywhere and teach and preach the gospel.The twelve disciples had been instructed by God, to speak about the kingdom of God, read Mark 16:15,And he said unto them, Go you into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Can you say,Yes and move forward?  I declare it is so! Read Matthew 5:37,But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these comes from evil. Now lets read Romans 10:15,And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! We are commissioned by God,to preach and teach the gospel to the people and the nations. And always speak in truth and love, by the Spirit of God.Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

Do you not know that the bible is the greatest benefit that we have?  The bible is God's message inorder for us to live, read 2 Timothy 3:16,All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.You see the bible is clear,it says if you do it God's way you will have eternal live, but if you reject Him you will indeed die in your sins.. God gives us the way inorder for us to be restore back to Himself. Inspiration means the bible is the record words from God to us. The Bible brings us benefits, lets look at the first one in forgiveness, read Matthew 6:14-15,For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses..We have to forgive one another first, before our Heavenly Father can forgive us. Amen ! The word of God tells us, what to do and what not to do, lets read Romans 12:17-21,Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good. Now lets read 1 John 5:12-13,He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. Did you get that? In Him is eternal life, without Him you have no life after death. The word of God says, be doers of the word of God, read James 1:22-27,But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain. Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world. Our Father in heaven, we thank you for your instructions for righteousness. We have been give a free gift from God, read 1 Peter 4:10, As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. So, If we have the right attitude and sincerely seeking to do God's will, the Holy Spirit will guide us.Thats the benefit of God's word. Thank you for your word. Amen !

Lets look at this from our Father's view, we are the children of God,and our Heavenly Father is give us instruction.Read Proverbs 13:1-2,A wise son heareth his father's instruction: but a scorner heareth not rebuke. A man shall eat good by the fruit of his mouth: but the soul of the transgressors shall eat violence. You have to choose to hear the instruction and speak the truth you see the truth is the word of God. Read Proverbs 4:4-7,He taught me also, and said unto me, Let thine heart retain my words: keep my commandments, and live. Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth. Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee.Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. When you pray ask the Lord for a greater understanding of His word.The word of God tells us to get wisdom,read Proverbs 1:4-7,To give subtilty to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion. A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:To understand a proverb, and the interpretation; the words of the wise, and their dark sayings.The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.We have to get understanding first before we can speak out, when we get that, we will then and only then speak the truth with Love.Lets look at Proverbs 11:1-3,A false balance is abomination to the Lord: but a just weight is his delight. When pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly is wisdom. The integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them. You see some people have to much pride. When will speak the truth in Love, it should help the person who is listening, but this is not always true, read Proverbs 10:11-13,The mouth of a righteous man is a well of life: but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked. Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth all sins. In the lips of him that hath understanding wisdom is found: but a rod is for the back of him that is void of understanding. You may ask why? Because everyone don't want the truth to be told, read Proverbs 12:17-18,He that speaketh truth sheweth forth righteousness: but a false witness deceit.There is that speaketh like the piercings of a sword: but the tongue of the wise is health. The question is this, do you recognize who I AM? What does recognize mean,be fully aware or cognizant of something or someone. Lets look at Matthew 16:11-17, How is it that ye do not understand that I spake it not to you concerning bread, that ye should beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees? Then understood they how that he bade them not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am? And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. You must recognize Jesus Christ first inorder to be a blessed people. Then, we must recognize , who we are in Christ. Many people  have been robbed from their victory through being ignorance of what God’s Word has to say about us. For instance, many believers are struggling with trying to please God. You see some people fail to understand that righteousness from God, comes through faith in Christ. This is not something that we have to work for. Its not by works ! All you have to do is believe in Him,read Romans 5:1-2,Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. It says through Him we stand before God, by the Spirit. Read 2 Corinthians 5:7,(For we walk by faith, not by sight:). We have to get understanding of who we truely are, read 2 Corinthians 5:17,Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. God foreordained us before the foundation of the world that those who are in Christ Jesus would be before Him holy and without blame,  God has already chosen us. We are righteous, not because of what we’ve done, but because of what Jesus has done for us. We are already accepted by the blood, It’s through His blood that we have redemption. We are sealed by the blood of Christ Jesus. If we seek to be more like Him, to be led by the Spirit, to avoid destruction, move out of the way and let the Holy Spirit lead you. Read Galatians 5:25-26,If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another. We have to ask the Holy Spirit to help us everyday, we need to be more humble. Read 1 Peter 5:5-7,Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble. Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. Lets walk in Love for one another.  Lets start this weekend by encouraging every people we talk to. We can give them some, Good News,Psalm 46:1,God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. This morning I  (Sheila) encourage you to spend some quiet time with God. Why? Because we think that we have to start talking right away. This is not true, it's all right to say nothing. You see it is very important to come into the presents of God , in oneness. This means your Spirit, body, mind, and emotions need to be unified. When, we are listening for the sound or voice of God, everything must be pull together within us. You see sometimes our bodies are kneeling, in prayer, but our minds are somewhere else. We might be experiencing all kinds of emotions, but you may need to put yourself in a good position first. We need to get our hearts right first. Read Romans 15:5-6,Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be like minded one toward another according to Christ Jesus:That you may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Heavenly Father, we need to hear from you, speak to our hearts! Read Romans 14:19,Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things with which one may edify another. In other words choose to specialize encouraging words, read 1 Thessalonians 4:18,Wherefore comfort one another with these words..It is very wise to speak the word of God with love. Read Ecclesiastes 10:12,The words of a wise man's mouth are gracious; but the lips of a fool will swallow him up. Paul,wrote that everything we say should build up the one who is listening. Father we, need more of you and less of ourselves. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

 No matter who we are,we have a special purpose for being here on earth.There is something that needs to be done on this earth that can only be done by you.If we do not know our real purpose in life,our reason for existing,is very meaningless. Yet, God created each of us with a special purpose in mind. God said in His word I the Lord formed you and knew you before you was in your mother's womb read Jeremiah 1:5-7,Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.Then said I, Ah, Lord God! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child.But the Lord said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak. There is a purpose for you still being here! The bible says in 2 Timothy 3:16-17,All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. You see this is the will of God for your life. Until you have fully committed yourself to God, you will never be able to discern what His perfect will is for your life. Lets read John 17:20-23,Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me. You must believe the word of God, or you will worry about everything thats going on in this world.When the storms of life come, as they are bound to do, you have to know for yourself that your Heavenly Father will overcome the problem. The Bible tells us that God wants to sanctify us and transform us into the express image of His Son Jesus Christ. He wants to make us into a better and more holy people, both on the inside and the outside.People have not spent enough quality time in the Word of God to learn exactly what it is that God wants to change from the inside out. Its the mind that needs to be transform! If you will spend some good, quality time really studying and meditating on the word of God then you will know the will of God for your life. Do you not know that your set apart for a special purpose? Read Romans 12:2,And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Lord forgive us for being so fools in our walk here on earth. Your word says do not love anything of this world, read 1 John 2:15,Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

Lets read 1 Corinthians 14:33,For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints. This means we should have peace within,no matter what is going on around us daily.No matter what is going on in your life do your best to stay organized, by staying focuse first, on the word of God, ask yourself what would Jesus do? Read Colossians 3:17,And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.The word of God says, do everything in decently and in order, read 1 Corinthians 14:38-40,But if any man be ignorant, let him be ignorant. Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues.Let all things be done decently and in order. So, we have to be very careful how we speak to people daily, how we look at people, and how we help people. Read Acts 20:28,Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. We have to let the Holy Spirit lead us. Read Luke 16:1-13,And he said also unto his disciples, There was a certain rich man, which had a steward; and the same was accused unto him that he had wasted his goods. And he called him, and said unto him, How is it that I hear this of thee? give an account of thy stewardship; for thou mayest be no longer steward. Then the steward said within himself, What shall I do? for my lord taketh away from me the stewardship: I cannot dig; to beg I am ashamed.I am resolved what to do, that, when I am put out of the stewardship, they may receive me into their houses. So he called every one of his lord's debtors unto him, and said unto the first, How much owest thou unto my lord? And he said, An hundred measures of oil. And he said unto him, Take thy bill, and sit down quickly, and write fifty. Then said he to another, And how much owest thou? And he said, An hundred measures of wheat. So, in other words are you a servant of God or man? Are you doing the will of God, or the will of the world? Do what is right, because he requires and commands it, and we do it with a desire to honor him. If anyone is looking for honor from man, he or she is very fools, if you have not been faithful to God. You must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect. Ask yourself the question? Are you ready? Is everything organized in your house? Read Matthew 24:44-51,Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of, And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Thank you Lord for giving us another day to get right with you. Do you not know that you have a way out from Satan's lies? You don't have to fear anything of this world, the bible says, fear not! Fear is the opposite of trust, many people don't overcome fear, but be overcome by fear, we also have no need to be afraid. We know that Satan attempts to have power over our minds. Satan tries to discourage the believers. He tries to keep us from believing God's word. He is our opponent. Satan is referred to, as the deceiver, as the accuser,  the father of lies, the murderer,  the adversary. We have to read the word of God everyday,we cannot afford to be ignorant to God's word. Why? Because, Satan is in the business of trying to deceive us everyday. We have people walking around everyday deceiving others all the time, this is a spirit of darkness (Satan) that lives within, its not the Spirit of God, the Spirit of God is truth. He ( Satan) is at work trying to make something look like the truth but it’s a lie; it’s a deception.There is only one way to overcome this fear or lie, its by trusting in the word of God.Read 1 Peter 5:7-9,Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. You have to put on the whole armour of God and fight, your in Spiritual warfare.Read Ephesians 6:10-12, "Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. "Paul is talking here about being strong in the Lord and knowing how to wrestle against principalities and powers. He’s talking about prayer, as a believer you are not to be fearful, you are to trust in the Lord and the power of His might,His word. So,some people may ask the question, how do I overcome this fear? Good question, this is a serious question, by the word of God.We don’t have to let our feelings or thoughts or Satan’s lies dictate what is true. God’s word is truer than anything we feel, think or see. Satan tries to cloud our thinking,he tries to make us think that God is depriving us from something or someone. And this is not true! It is God who created us and loves us,there is no greater love then this, read John 15:13,Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.This is showing us the extent of his love that he gave himself up for us.Man did not take His life (Jesus), He laid it down, thats true Love. In dealing with Satan’s lies, you have to know the truth.We have the freedom to tap into the Spiritual realm, and speak to our Heavenly Father.We are not to waver in our faith, no matter how strongly we are attacked. Our ultimate defense is the assurance we have of our salvation, an assurance that no spiritual force can take away, we can trust the word of God. The word says, God is a Spirit,read John 4:21-24,Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. Also,read Numbers 23:19,God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: has he said, and shall he not do it? or has he spoken, and shall he not make it good? Everything that we need comes from God, read Isaiah 55:10-11, For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. God wants you as His warriors to pray out in the Spiritual realm , using the weapons He has given you  freely, from the position you have in the Spirit, and defeat the enemy.Read James 4:7,Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. You have freedom in the Spiritual realm, you can go in and out freely. Do you not know who you are? Your a strong warrior, in battle. It is a command to pray to the Father in order to overcome the devil. Read Psalms 1:1-6,Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish. Read that again! So,the one who submit to the word of God and meditate day and night on the word of God, is Blessed.Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

What did Jesus mean when He said,"deny yourself and take up your cross"? Why? Because, we need God's word for the struggle against the challenges and temptations that will come everyday or our daily walk in life.  Read Romans 6:1-4,What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. We have to remember and speak the gospel everyday over  ourselves. A person who wants to find ultimate pleasure must find it in God, and to do so, he must deny himself and follow Christ. Only Jesus could redeem us by paying the judicial penalty for our sin's and liberating us from its penalty. And we say , thank you Lord. The word of God tells us, that we have to deny ourselves and let the Holy Spirit lead us. Lets read Matthew 16:25-27, For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works. The question is who are you following? Read Luke 9:23,And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. Its a daily walk, now get this, if you don't, take up the cross,read  Matthew 10:36-38,And a man's foes shall be they of his own household. He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. If you love anyone more then Jesus, you are very foolish, no one comes before,The great I AM! The Spirit is saying move,move by faith. If you have little faith move, if you have big faith move. You have to move on the promise of God's word,God never made a promise that He didn't intend to keep. God gave us a promise, that He will fulfill every promise of His word. The word says, God cannot lie or He is not a liar, read  Numbers 23:19,God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: has he said, and shall he not do it? or has he spoken, and shall he not make it good? If God said it, all you need to do is move forward, walk it out. Some people have to get understanding to know that , I (God) chosen you, you didn't choose Him, read  John 15:16,You have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that you should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever you shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it to you. Wow, this verse is powerful, you are appointed or elect by God. Read Isaiah 43:1-7, But now thus saith the Lord that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. For I am the Lord thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee. Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee: therefore will I give men for thee, and people for thy life. Fear not: for I am with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west; I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth; Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him. This is the Lord talking to us, read 2 Timothy 3:16-17,All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. We have to move in our faith, read Psalm 119:1-5, Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the Lord. Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart. They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways. Thou hast commanded us to keep thy precepts diligently. O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes! Do you understand that God has giving us a command to keep His statutes. Do you not know that your faith is trusting the word of God, read Psalm 5:11-12,But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee. For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield. The word tells us to rejoice in the things of God. Why, because we have an inheritance in the Kingdom of God, read 1 Corinthians 6:9-10,Know you not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. This is the word of God. We have been called to move by faith, are you moving? Or are you sitting down of your faith?Also,read Ephesians 1:11-12, In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.Thank you Lord for your word. The word for today is - Vision !

The only standard that God has given to us is that His word does not change and it is totally reliable.Lets look at Proverbs 29:18,Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he. So how can one determine that they had a vision and the vision came from God.You have to know the word of God first, the vision must line up with the word from God. Read Habakkuk 2:2-4,And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.This means you have to believe in the vision, and wait for God's timing. Get understanding of the vision by spending time with God in prayer, and in reading His word.Then how can one interpret the vision? By spend time in God's word, for you have to let the Holy Spirit lead you. With our new nature comes an intense desire for Christ and the things of God, as we pursue an intimate relationship with Christ . The Lord guides and instructs us in our daily walk from His written word. God did in fact, revealed himself to men in the Old Testament in dreams, visions, and in other ways. During the Old Testament times the people did not have the written word of God, therefore God directed them through the prophet's who recorded what God told them. And that has become the living word today. Read 2 Peter 1:21,For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. We have an open door today, a way in that is giving to us by Christ Jesus, His Spirit that dwells within us. With our new nature comes an intense desire for Christ and the things of God. We can fully appreciate Jesus' statement,read John 8:30-32,As he spake these words, many believed on him.Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.Visions are literal events that will happen, the Holy Spirit will point somethings out to us. Wait for confirmation from God in other words, before taking action, because usually it's a call to pray about a situation, or to bring us closer to the Lord or to bring awareness about something. Its time to seek the Lord with all your heart. Lets read Hosea 10:12,Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the Lord, till he comes and rains righteousness upon you. Do you have a desire to draw nearer to God? How close do you really want to get to Him or know Him? The only desire you should have is the desire to do God's will, read James 4:8, Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. You can not serve God and Satan. Also, read Psalm 37:4, Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.We need a deeper hunger for God's word, read  Jeremiah 29:13,And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. We have to seek Him now, why because one day He will not be found. Read Isaiah 55:6-8,Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. There is a way which seems right unto a man. Man looks at it and sizes it up, saying, I believe this way is good for me: But God is telling us not to look at our ways,for many of those ways are actually the ways of death. If you want to draw closer to God, you are going to have to do so on His terms, not on your terms. Read Proverbs 29:5-6,A man that flattereth his neighbour spreadeth a net for his feet. In the transgression of an evil man there is a snare: but the righteous doth sing and rejoice.Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

When you make Jesus Lord over your life this means your past is behind you. You have to renew your mind ( your way of thinking), you are no longer of this world. You have been transform by the Spirit of God. Read Romans 12:2, And be not conformed to this world: but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. You can not walk around any longer being foolish, read Ephesians 5:17,Therefore be not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. In other words,get some understanding to know what the Lord's will is for your life. We have to move forward, the past things are behind us. How do we do that by reading the word of God, studying the word of God, and praying to our Father in Heaven for His will to be reveal to us, read Colossians 1:25-28,Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God; Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily. We have been restore back to our Heavenly Father. Some people are wise and some people are very foolish in this world, you have to choose to listen to the sound of God, read Matthew 7: 24-27,Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it. We have to build on a strong foundation, we have to go deeper into the word of God. You see, our God is not impressed with what we appear to be on the outside, but what is inside (your heart)of you. We are all very good at looking  good for Church and around the saints,and other people, but what is going on inside of you? God is interested in what we are like on the inside, but people of the world are interested from what they see first from the outside. He wishes to change us from the inside out, He wants to make us clean from the inside so that we would naturally be clean on the outside. If your heart is clean, then you will automatically be clean on the outside. Read Galatians 6:8,For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. We need your help Lord, we cannot do it ourselves, read 1 John 1:8, If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. The word of God also says, in John 8:44, You are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father you will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. The word of God says we need help, why because, Not one person is righteous. Read Romans 3:10,As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one. Lets pray to our Father in Heaven to renew in us a right Spirit, to seek Him with our whole heart for the knowledge of God in Christ Jesus. Read Philippians 4:6-7, Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. This is why we need to pray, we need the power of God to overcome somethings. Why because everyone that expresses themself in a very gracious and amiable manner is not always okay. Read Jeremiah 29:11-14, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.  Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. And I will be found of you, saith the Lord: and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places whither I have driven you, saith the Lord; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive. Are you mindful with the words you speak everyday?  Do you not know that you have the power to bring death to someone with you words, this means death to someone's Spirit or Life. Lets start with the power of words, read  Proverbs 18:20-21,A man's belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled. Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. The bible says,let no wrong or bad talk come out of your mouths about others, read Ephesians 4:29,Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. The word says, we are to build up one another. Read James 1:25-26,But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed. If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain. Ask youself are your words in vain? We have to understand God's words, we have been given liberty to speak the true word of God and nothing more. This is  why, we must pray for one another and confess our sins to the Father in order for us to grow, read James 5:16,Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. We have to get right with our Heavenly Father first, this is the will of God before we can help others.Read Matthew 6:9-13,After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. You see nothing is impossible for you  when you have faith in Christ Jesus. The power of prayer is not the result of the person praying, but its in the power of the one that your praying to.We all need the help of the Holy Spirit that dwells with in us, ( the believers)! The word for today is - News !

Everyone is asking the same question, have you heard the news? You see if you are a believer, this may be the time for you to speak about the Good News of Jesus Christ. When your talking to someone that says, the doctor or  Physician said, Im very sick. What do you say to that person? As a believer in Christ Jesus, you should say, the bible says something quite different. It says God can and will heal you, read Deuteronomy 7:15,And the Lord will take away from thee all sickness, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest, upon thee; but will lay them upon all them that hate thee.
Also,Jeremiah 30:17,For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the Lord; because they called thee an Outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom no man seeketh after.  You have to get understanding of, Who God is, and the power of God, He can and will restore you. We have to speak about the good news of Jesus Christ at all times, this is the hope that people are looking for.  Ask the person if you can have prayer with them right there. We have to make a stand for Jesus right now, stop walking away from problems face the problems head on. Read Philippians 4:6-7,Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. We have to get to a place in God that we can not start our day without prayer, this is the command of God.  Read 1 Thessalonians 5:17-19,Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. Quench not the Spirit. Lets look at Jesus, He spent a lot of time with our Father in prayer. So why do you believe everything that man says, when our Heavenly Father says something different, go to the Lord in Prayer. Read Matthew 7:7-11,Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? The word of God is everything that you are seeking for and everything that you need. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Service !

 

Its time for us to be more like Him ( Jesus). Lets look at  the "Last Supper," Jesus paused, girded Himself with a towel, took water, and washed His disciples' feet. He told them in John 13:13-16, Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am. If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet. For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you. Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him. Jesus was not binding the rite of "foot-washing," rather, He was showing that those who would be His disciples were to have a mind to serve others, with their needs, and do what they could to help them. Now read 1 Peter 4:10-11,As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. We are to serve one another at all times,as servants of the Lord. Read Ephesians 2:10, For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. You see showing is better then tell people anything. Let us read Galatians 5:13-14,For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. Serving others is an important matter to the Lord, and it should be also,for us. You see its in the spirit of love that we should help others. Father forgive us for not showing love for one another, forgive us for not helping our brother's and sister's in the time of need. We must learn how to share with others, read James 2:14-17,What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. Wow, read that again. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Longing !!

There have been almost two thousand years of people waiting for Jesus to come back or to return. Now that’s a lot of time, but the question is this do you have a desire or longing for Jesus Christ to return today?  You see our heart desire should be to seek the kingdom of God first! Read Matthew 6:25-34,Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. It is not for you the believers to worry about the return, but for the believers, to be doing the will of God intil He returns. So, the word says, keep your mind on the kingdom of God, and his righteousness first, you have to understand that everyone is not a believer of Jesus Christ and everyone have not heard about the kingdom of God. Lets read about Peter, he wrote the letter we call II Peter, he talked about scoffers who did not believe Jesus would return. Read II Peter chapter 3:1-10,This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance:That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour: Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.  Wow! You see generation after generation, about 67 generations in all, have expected that Jesus would come and then they have been disappointed.  Some leaders who were disappointed that Jesus did not come back in 1000 AD added the 33 years of Jesus’ life to make the prediction that Jesus would return in 1033. Wrong! Get understanding first, the word of God says, in the book of Luke chapter 12, Jesus taught his disciples, The last days began with the outpouring of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost, so Peter was talking about those in his time who mocked the Christians who believed Jesus would return. Thirty some years had passed since Jesus had ascended and promised to return and in those years, many who had been with Jesus had died. Most of these had believed Jesus would return before they died, but that did not happen. Scoffers mocked the church that continued to believe Jesus would return. It is going on still today, and that is sad. Some people may ask, what about all the signs Jesus said would warn us his coming was approaching? Read Matthew 24:4-14, And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. Do you understand that we have a command, given to us by God to preach the gospel of the kingdom of God. Jesus went on in his teaching to talk about persecution and the preaching of the gospel to all nations as preludes to his return. The church has been persecuted from the beginning of time. We need to be ready when he returns. Are you longing for Jesus? Read Philippians 3:13-14,Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Jesus said in Matthew 24:35-36, Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. Have you ever thought, about reaching out to the lost? You see this is our mission by God, if your a disciple of Christ. So, we must have the keys to unlock the door first, and you must have the right keys. So, there must be a key to reaching the lost in the word of God. And the key is to always speak to the lost in love and truth, that Jesus is the only way to our Father in Heaven. Read John 10:7-9,Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. Wow, now thats awesome to me, the word is saying the door will never be lock again to you, if you are a Child of the King. Now,lets look at the law of God, the Law is the God-given "key" to unlock the Door of salvation. Lets read Romans 3:19-20,Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. If we study how Jesus was teaching His disciple's, we will notice how different His approach was from that of our modern evangelism. Read Mark 10:15-21,Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein. And he took them up in his arms, put his hands upon them, and blessed them.,And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life? And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God. Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother. And he answered and said unto him, Master, all these have I observed from my youth. Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me. As you well know, the story of the prodigal son is one of the most familiar stories in the Bible.The older brother became angry, because His father had compassion for the lost son, who had return back home. Why? Because,the older brother, thought he had to work for his father’s approval and blessings, he was no less a slave than his younger brother. The young son realized his folly,he was Spiritually died, he said Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.The Father seen and heard a change in His son, it was Spiritual,because both sons were materialists, both sons loved money. The word for today is - Opportunity !

 

We have the opportunity of prayer everyday freely, so we should take advantage of the opportunity to pray! Amen? In prayer we find strength, peace, comfort, joy, love, and oneness with God in prayer. Don’t let your life be a (if) I had prayed more things would be different. Let it be a life filled with God's plan, because you took advantage of the opportunity to pray. The word of God says,let everything that has breath Praise the Lord, read Psalm 150:1-6,Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord. Sometimes we miss opportunities when we disobey God and do things without His direction, that is being disobedience to the word of God.You have to understand that Jesus prayed for all believers to be "one" just as He and His Father are one, read John 17:20-22,Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one. Lets look at Ephesians 5:5-11,For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. Be not ye therefore partakers with them. For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. We have to walk by the Spirit of God (light). You have to understand that every opportunitie that we have here on earth, we should be walking in Love. We must answer to God, not only for what we do maliciously, but for what we do heedlessly.The word of God tells us to love one another, pray for one another, forgive one another, and help one another. Now lets read Exodus 22:21,You shall neither wrong a stranger, nor oppress him: for you were strangers in the land of Egypt. We don't know who is a stranger to God or a believer. So, anyone who willfully, knowingly rejects Jesus Christ as the Savior will not have the opportunity to live forever with our Heavenly Father. A member who is not making opportunity to use his or her spiritual abilities to serve, is not a good steward of God's blessings.We should always be working for the Lord every opportunity that comes our way to speak about the gospel of the Kingdom of God. The word for today is - Authority !

 

I think, it's time to take a look at just how God views authority. When you are in relationship with God, he provides you with protection and favor. But as you belittle and criticize those people he has placed in authority over you, that protection and favor is lifted from you. The bottom line is that God expects you to respect him and his choices. He expects that you will respect the people he's placed in authority over you. Lets first look at the first part (us) , when you discover that God will only give you authority over others when you show that you can come under (His) authority yourself, perhaps things will look a little different to you. Second is this, set a example for the people around you, read Romans 12:9-13, Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good. Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another; Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord; Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality. You see we need to walk in love at all times, this is the will of God for us. Now read, Revelation 2:25-27,But that which ye have already hold fast till I come. And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father. Lets look at Jesus, read Matthew 21:23-27,And when he came into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came unto him as he was teaching, and said, By what authority do you these things? and who gave you this authority? And Jesus answered and said unto them, I also will ask you one thing, which if you tell me, I likewise will tell you by what authority I do these things.The baptism of John, from where was it? from heaven, or of men? And they reasoned among themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say unto us, Why did you not then believe him? But if we shall say, Of men; we fear the people; for all hold John as a prophet. And they answered Jesus, and said, We cannot tell. And he said unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things.God always wants us to show love, honor, and respect to others, Jesus says, My command is this love one another. Read John 15:12,This is my commandment, That you love one another, as I have loved you. Also read John 13:34-35,A new commandment I give unto you, That you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this shall all men know that you are my disciples, if you have love one to another. Do you have love for others?  Are you a disciple for Jesus? Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is -  Knowledge !

 

Lets start with the first key of wisdom, and that is to know that you need knowledge of God. The word tells us to fear no man, but to fear the Lord, and depart from evil. Read Proverbs 3:1- 14,My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments: For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee. Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil. It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones. Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine. My son, despise not the chastening of the Lord; neither be weary of his correction: For whom the Lord loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth. Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding. For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold.  Now ask yourself, do you need wisdom? The answer is Yes, we all need the wisdom of God inorder to live in God and with God. We all need the Knowledge of who our Heavenly Father is, the word says the people are destroyed from lack of knowledge. Some people have rejected the knowledge of the word of God. Read Hosea 4:6,My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because you have rejected knowledge, I will also reject you, that you shall be no priest to me: because you have forgotten the law of your God, I will also forget your children. The question is this, are you seeking knowledge of the Saviour? You have to get understanding that He is our rock. The word  of God tells us to trust in the Lord with all  your Heart, read 2 Samuel 22:3, The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence. We are saved by grace. From the beginning of time, God told Adam not to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, read Genesis 2:15-17, And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. You have to know for yourself if anything that looks good may not be good for you. That is why we need to pray, the people  are destroyed for lack of the knowledge from God, for the true knowledge of God is the life of the soul, true life, eternal life, as our Saviour saith, "This is life eternal, that they should know Thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom Thou has sent."  Wow! Read Proverbs 18:15,The heart of the prudent getteth knowledge; and the ear of the wise seeketh knowledge. Whats in your heart ? Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is -  Doers !

 

Lets look at Jesus talking to us, His word says, we must be doers of the word of God, read  James 1:21-25,Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls. But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed. So, we have to do something also, we need to deny self and walk by the Spirit of God. Read James 4:1-10,From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members? Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy? But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up. You see man is not humble, He is self seeking, If we know our weaknesses, then go to the Lord in prayer and cry out to Him for help. But get this if your playing with the devil your walking and thinking outside of the will of God for your life. Read 1 John 2:16, For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. The word "lust" is used here in the general sense of desire, or that which is the object of desire, we can find as much pleasure entering the soul through the eye gate also. Therefore be subject to God, cleanse your hands,and  purify your hearts. We need to be very careful,some people think to highly of themself, read Romans 12:3,For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. Some people want to please self first and everybody else comes somewhere down the line. You see the lust of the flesh, seeks gratification .The word says, for the believers, read Galatians 5:14-16,For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another. This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. We must be doers of God's word !

The question this morning is this, who are you? A time will come when God will reveal somethings to you, read 1 Peter 4:17-19,For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear? Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator. You see we don't know everything, but God does, He's everywhere at the same time. Read Deuteronomy 29:29,The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.The fact is that the revelation or revealing of God is a feature of God's interactions with men in general and Scripture in particular throughout time. We must grasp this fact, that God's purpose and plan is to reveal Himself first to us.He wants a relationship with us, He is calling us ! The Spirit is saying,  Come to me !  Before you can discover God's calling for you specifically, you must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Jesus offers salvation to every person, and he wants to have an intimate friendship with each of his followers, but God reveals a calling only to those who accept him as their Savior. Then, He will reveal everything else to us in His time . All we need to do is trust Him. Just wait on the Lord and His plan for your life. We must stay in His face, we must pray at all times, everyday! And thank Him for His grace, because we need it, everyday. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The Spirit is calling for prayer. The Lord has Instructed Us to Pray, read Matthew 26:41,Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. Obey the word of God, pray for one another! Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Beginning  !

 

Lets start with the beginning of time, read Genesis 1:26-31, And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so. And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day. When you read this verse, you should be thinking about the power thats within you. God says, He created you in His image first, in His likeness, Wow! So, do you not know that you have the power to move forward, you have dominion over all the earth.  It was giving to us from the beginning of time, read it again (let them have dominion ) not just him, but them , its not my words, it is the word of God.  You see from the beginning of time man was blessed, read  Psalm 1:1-6, Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish. Everything change because man did not obey God's word. The Lord gave man the authority over everything, but man chose to sin, he lost his proper position of authority over God's creation; he lost it in the Garden of Eden, and then it appears that he lost even more when God decided to flood the world because of man's wickedness. When man lost his original position on the earth, it caused all of creation to lose its proper position as well. You have to understand that the earth is the Lord's and the fulness of it, read  Psalm 24:1-5, The earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods. Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive the blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. The whole world belongs to God,the whole universe, He is the Creator of everything that is. Read Genesis 1:2, And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. Lets look in the book of Job, this is the Lord speaking to Job, chapter 38:1-4,Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said, Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge? Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou me. Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding. Let me make it plan, read (NIV), Then the Lord answered Job out of the storm. He said: “Who is this that darkens my counsel with words without knowledge? Brace yourself like a man; I will question you,and you shall answer me. “Where were you when I laid the earth’s foundation? Tell me, if you understand. Get this, the Lord is asking, Job who laid its cornerstone,  who did this do you know? Can you comprehend the vast expanses of the earth? Tell me, if you know all this, do you know the right path, do you know the way to the Father?  In other words  the Lord is asking Job, are you greater then, I AM? Job had the understanding of somethings ,but he had no understanding of this, what he is questioned about by God. That is why, we need to stay in God's presence. In Matthew chapter 5, Jesus in His teaching was saying,  blessed are those who mourn, who really seek after God. You must seek Him with all your heart. We need to hear from you Lord, how do we hear from God? In prayer! Jesus always prayed to the Father everyday. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !
