The word for today is - Watch !

 

This Jesus giving us a warning! Jesus says, my word is truth! The word of God tells us to watch and pray always, read Luke 21:36,Watch therefore, and pray always, that you may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.We need to get understanding, for when the hour will come we have to be worthy to stand before him, some people are so wicked that they will be condemned by God. We are saved by the grace of God daily. God warnings us in His word, we can lie to one another, but you can not lie before God at the Judgment set. Christ tells his disciples to observe the signs of the times, which they might judge by.The word of God says,Take heed to yourselves, that ye be not overpowered by temptations, nor betrayed by your own corruptions. We cannot be safe, if we are carnally mind. We have to make the most of every opportunity to do good. The word says, when we want to do good evil is always present, evil lies close, read Romans 7:21,I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.Watch means to stay wide awake,why? Because the Spirit is will to obey but the flesh is weak, read Matthew 26:41, Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. We have to trust the word of God, because the devil is walking around looking for someone to devour, read 1 Peter 5:8-9,Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. Stand on the word of God , just watch and pray. You have the power from within to stand ,Read Psalm 44:5-8,Through thee will we push down our enemies:through thy name will we tread them under that rise up against us.For I will not trust in my bow,neither shall my sword save me.But thou hast saved us from our enemies, and hast put them to shame that hated us. In God we boast all the day long, and praise thy name for ever. Selah. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !
