Blessed is he or she who reads the word of God, read Revelation 1:1-3,The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw, Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.We read the bible to get directions from God, divine directions! God will lead you along a path that will fulfill His plans for your life in His word. He is the one who knows the direction you are to follow and He will lead you accordingly. Ask the Holy Spirit to lead and guide you to a greater understanding of the word of God, read James 1:5-6,If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. When we follow God's will and live according to His divine plan, our perspective shifts. Our vision expands and we begin to look at life not in terms of what we can do, but what God can do through us. We soon realize that nothing can distract, destroy, discourage, disappoint or defeat us when we follow God's direction.There are times in life when you honestly don't know what to do,but there is only one source of completely reliable guidance: God ! Ask God for His direction in your life. When He shows the path for you to follow, then trust Him and His plan with all your heart.Read the Bible it is more than a book detailing men's thoughts about what God is like. It is God's communication to mankind, His words are transmitted to us through its pages. Heavenly Father we thank you for your word. Amen !
