The word for today is - Knowledge !

 

If your lacking Knowledge,come to me said the Lord,read  Job 28:12-16,But where shall wisdom be found? and where is the place of understanding?Man knoweth not the price thereof; neither is it found in the land of the living.The depth saith, It is not in me: and the sea saith, It is not with me. It cannot be gotten for gold, neither shall silver be weighed for the price thereof.It cannot be valued with the gold of Ophir, with the precious onyx, or the sapphire. God’s desire is for all to know Him, to appreciate Him, and to have a relationship with Him. Many times in Scripture, knowledge carries the idea of a deeper appreciation of something or someone.The word of God says,many people are destroyed because they refused to learn, or have rejected knowledge.Read Hosea 4:6,My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because you have rejected knowledge, I will also reject you, that you shall be no priest to me: because you have forgotten the law of your God, I will also forget your children.The Bible is clear that the knowledge of God is the most valuable knowledge a human being can possess.Human knowledge, apart from God is foolish,Why? Because, the knowledge man possesses,it puffs up man, but the knowledge of God builds up others read 1 Corinthians 8:1-2,Now as touching things offered unto idols, we know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffeth up, but charity edifieth.And if any man think that he knoweth any thing, he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know. We need to seek the knowledge of God daily, we need to gain insight into how to serve him and others.What is your desire? We should have a heart like David,one thing have I ( David) desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in His temple.Read  Psalm 27:1-3,The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.We are His people in Him we trust, read Psalm 79:13, So we thy people and sheep of thy pasture will give thee thanks for ever: we will shew forth thy praise to all generations.Father, we praise your Holy Name. Thank you for your word. Amen !
