The word for today is - Increase !

Lets start with the book of Genesis 26:12-13,Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the Lord blessed him. And the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great. Did you understand that his wealth continued to grow until he became very wealthy.We must pay attention to the changes of the world, but let us get understanding of the word, it changes not ! The purpose of ministry is to speak about the good news of  Jesus Christ, its not for us to get wealthy. Read John 3:30 (KJV),He must increase, but I must decrease. Now read if  it( ISV), He must become more important, but I must become less important. We are called to do a good work, read Ephesians 2:8-10,For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.When we do what we are called  to do, then our work is done here on earth. John reminds us that the gospel is more important than anyone or anything. John says,He who is coming after me is mightier than I (John). John is speaking about the coming of Jesus Christ, we must decrease, inorder for Him to increase, more of Him and less of us. The Bible says, the one who is from above is greater then all, read John 3:31,He that comes from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaks of the earth: he that comes from heaven is above all. This verse is very clear, the one from heaven is divine (Jesus), and the one from earth (John) is made of the dust of the earth, a descended from Adam. Jesus came on a more important assignment then John. John spoke about the coming of the great I AM. Jesus spoke about everlasting life with God, if you believe. We need to increase our knowledge of the Bible daily. Father forgive us for not studying your word daily.The word of God says, you should meditate on the word day and night, read Joshua 1:8,This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. And that is the key to having a good life. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !
