The word for today is - Need !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Need !

We need to grow, many Scriptures describe the need to grow and mature Spiritually. Why, because some people fall and others don't know Him. Some people are at a stand still in their walk, then other people believe anything that sounds good, and some people are true to them self, others cause strife because of ignorance or become stumblingblocks to others. Read 1 Corinthians 10:12, Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall. The Scriptures teaches that growth in the Spiritual things is always needed in us, we can not do it without the help of the Holy Spirit. We are children in Christ! Read Ephesians 4:14-15, That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ. This means that you will not believe everything a person says, it has to line up with the word of God. We need the true gospel of Jesus Christ, the word tells us that man can not live on bread alone. Read Matthew 4:4, But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. You have to understand that a child will fall while learning to walk many times, and thats the same thing with people, if they don't know the word. Read Matthew 16:24,Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. If you are a true disciple you will continue in the word (study). Read John 8:31-32, Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. Wow,Do you want to be free? Read Luke 14:26, If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. Do you understand, no one comes before God. Jesus is quite clear from this statement that a disciple of his must not value any other relationship higher than their relationship with him. If any other human relationship takes preeminence over God, than that person is not a true disciple. Jesus says, that they are, “not worthy of me (Him).” Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !
