The word for today is - Giving !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Giving !

Do you know that giving is a command? Read Deuteronomy 15:7-11,If there be among you a poor man of one of thy brethren within any of thy gates in thy land which the Lord thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not harden thine heart, nor shut thine hand from thy poor brother: But thou shalt open thine hand wide unto him, and shalt surely lend him sufficient for his need, in that which he wanteth. Beware that there be not a thought in thy wicked heart, saying, The seventh year, the year of release, is at hand; and thine eye be evil against thy poor brother, and thou givest him nought; and he cry unto the Lord against thee, and it be sin unto thee. Thou shalt surely give him, and thine heart shall not be grieved when thou givest unto him: because that for this thing the Lord thy God shall bless thee in all thy works, and in all that thou puttest thine hand unto. For the poor shall never cease out of the land: therefore I command thee, saying, Thou shalt open thine hand wide unto thy brother, to thy poor, and to thy needy, in thy land. Now get understanding read Proverbs 29:6-7, In the transgression of an evil man there is a snare: but the righteous doth sing and rejoice. The righteous considereth the cause of the poor: but the wicked regardeth not to know it. So, the wise man does the right thing he or she gives their best, but the wicked man thinks of himself or herself more then others.  Read Acts 20:35, I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive. The word of God says, I the Lord has told you what to do. Are you listening to the word? The word says give from your heart. What is in your heart? According to the Bible, a person's heart reveals his true nature and motivation. Jesus pointed out when observing the widow woman's offering, the significance of the action was driven by her heart. Read Luke 21:1-4, And he looked up, and saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury. And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites. And he said, Of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all: For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had. She gave her best and her last, can you do that? Ask your self, would you give your last to help someone? Read 2 Corinthians 9:7, Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. So, are you a cheerful giver in, giving money, in giving help to others, in giving time to listen, in giving your last? Read Luke 12:34,For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. Father forgive us for not being obedience to your word.Thank you for your word. Amen !
