Good morning, To the beloved children of God,

In honor of Black History Month, known also as African-American History Month in America. Everyday we will have a study on History and God's love. Did you know this first? We owe the celebration of Black History Month, and more importantly, the study of black history, to Dr. Carter G. Woodson. Born to parents who were former slaves, he spent his childhood working in the Kentucky coal mines and enrolled in high school at age twenty. He graduated within two years and later went on to earn a Ph.D. from Harvard. The scholar was disturbed to find in his studies that history books largely ignored the black American population-and when blacks did figure into the picture, it was generally in ways that reflected the inferior social position they were assigned at the time. Woodson, always one to act on his ambitions, decided to take on the challenge of writing black Americans into the nation's history. He established the Association for the Study of Negro Life and History (now called the Association for the Study of Afro-American Life and History) in 1915, and a year later founded the widely respected Journal of Negro History. In 1926, he launched Negro History Week as an initiative to bring national attention to the contributions of black people throughout American history.

Everyone makes mistakes and sometimes the available options we have for necessary resources are not always there. However the Bible provides very clear instructions for life that helps to keep us from experiencing unnecessary problems everyday. So, in whatever situation we find ourselves in, we must trust His (God's) Word. We are simply warned and instructed to "Watch and Pray,"during these perilous times daily. The Bible gives us many warning signs so we will know when we are getting close to the end.The bible warns us, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty.The instructions for your life is to obey God's word and believe in Him. Read 2 Timothy4:1-4,I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. We must worship Him in spirit and truth.The only way God will accept our worship is to follow His directions in the Bible. We must let the Holy Spirit do His job! The Holy Spirit will lead and guide you, if you move aside, let Him in today! The Lord's pattern for our life is in the Word of God. Jesus said, Come just as you are ! The teaching of Jesus can lead you to a fulfilling spiritual life and give you hope for eternal life. Keep hold of His instructions; do not let go; guard her, for she is your life. Understand, God always keeps His Word and promises, everything will workout for your good, He has a divine plan for your life. Read Joshua 1:8, This book of the law shall not depart out of your mouth; but you shall meditate therein day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall have good success.We need to meditate on the word day and night. Heavenly Father, speak to us Lord. We need a word from you Lord, without your instructions we would be lost. Thank you Lord for your love and your word. Amen !
