                                            Anna Mae Bullock: aka-Tina Turner
Tina Turner was born Anna Mae Bullock on November 26, 1939, in Nutbush, Tennessee. Her parents, Floyd and Zelma Bullock, were poor sharecroppers, who, early in her life, split up and left Turner and her sister to be raised by their grandmother. When her grandmother died in the early 1950s, Turner moved to St. Louis, Missouri, to be with her mother. Barely in her teens, Turner quickly immersed herself in St. Louis's R&B scene, spending much of her time at Club Manhattan. It was there, in 1956, that she met rock-and-roll pioneer Ike Turner, whose band the Kings of Rhythm was a fixture at the club. It wasn't long before Turner was performing with the group, and she quickly became the highlight of their show. With their popularity growing, Ike and Tina were married in Tijuana, Mexico, in 1962. Tina and Ike's marriage was in shambles. In 1976, the couple separated both personally and professionally, and in 1978, they were officially divorced, with Tina citing Ike's physically abusive behavior, frequent infidelities and increasing drug and alcohol use. In 1983, however, Turner's solo career finally began to take off when she recorded a remake of Al Green,"Let's Stay Together." The following year, she exploded back into the record industry when her much-anticipated solo album, Private Dancer, was released to overwhelming critical and popular success, and she moved forward. Though she is now semi-retired, Tina Turner does make rare appearances and recordings. Her story today in 2013, it was announced that Turner, at the age of 73, was engaged to marry her longtime partner, German record executive Erwin Bach. The couple has been living together in Switzerland since 1995. In July of 2013, the couple got married in Zurich, Switzerland, only months after Turner gained her Swiss citizenship in the spring. Tina Turner and Erwin Bach are as in love now as they were the day they met.
The message to the beloved Children of God - Love is Powerful !
I was at work two days ago, when I heard this, What's love have to do with it _ ? God's Love is unconditional ! Understand that God is our, heavenly Father, and He loves us. He knows that we will mess up sometimes, he will come for his lost sheep. If you are a parent you know that your love is unconditional for your children, we all have family that we love. Understand it is not God's will for His children to perish. Read 2 Peter 3:1-10, This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance: That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour: Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. The first thing we need to look at in order to arrive at a proper biblical understanding of what this verse is saying, is to ask ourselves to whom is it written. This will go a long way to finding out just who it is that God does not want to perish, and will leave the reader without room for doubt or uncertainty as to who it is Peter is referring to by his use of the word ‘us’. Open your Bibles and take a look at 2 Peter 3, read verse 9 and then go back to verse 1 and you will quickly discover to whom the letter has been specifically written and who is being spoken about in verse 9. In this kind of love, not that we have loved God first, but that he loved and loves us first, that He sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Read Matthew 18:13-14, And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray. Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish. We are the sheep the (believers). Love is the key to everything, that unlocked the way to the Father. Read 1 John 4:18-20, There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. We love him, because he first loved us. If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? I was read a special section in Dr. Charles Stanley's February issue that touch my heart about love. It was speaking about Partners in God's Kingdom. The message was talking about Love in the body of Christ. It was very clear to me that whether single or married, black or white, man or woman, we're all one (THE BELIEVERS) in Christ Jesus. It is very clear that being single or being married don't define a good life. What define us is that we are believers in Christ Jesus. We have been bound together by God. Paul reminded us all, we have been created through Him and for Him. Read Colossians 1:16-17, For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. We should love one another because we are brothers and sisters (believers) in the body of Christ. We are the church, we are One in Christ Jesus, one mind, one spirit, and one Lord. Understand that God's love is free to everyone that believes that Jesus is the Christ. For, Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has become a child of God and thou shalt be saved. Heavenly Father, we come before you today with open hearts and minds to hear from you Lord. We are your beloved children, and we will follow your command, to love one another. For it is written in John 13:33-34, Little children, yet a little while I am with you. Ye shall seek me: and as I said unto the Jews, Whither I go, ye cannot come; so now I say to you. A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. Let us your sheep come to the knowledge of the truth, if we do not know the truth we will be lost. Sheep have an instinctive tendency to wander. If the shepherd did not go out and seek this lost creature, it would not have found its way back on its own. That is called true love. Let us come to the mercy-seat seeking reconciliation with him. Children of God read the story in Ezekiel 34:11-16. Thank you Lord for your word and your love for us (Your Beloved Children). Amen !
