The message to the beloved Children of God - Celebrate Black History Month together !

Good morning, to the Beloved Children of God !
In honor of Black History Month, known also as African-American History Month in America. Everyday we will have a study on Black History and God's love. We Celebrate the women and men that was called for a purpose!
The celebration came about when the former son of a slave and University of Chicago and Harvard-trained historian and author, Carter G. Woodson, sponsored a national Negro History week in 1926, choosing the second week of February to coincide with the birthdays of Abraham Lincoln and Frederick Douglass. The week, which became a month for Black History Month. In 1976, it has been on the February calendar ever since, inspiring schools, arts institutions and communities nationwide to organize local celebrations, establish history clubs and host performances, events and lectures. And we give thanks to Carter G. Woodson.
Nelson Mandela: Nelson Mandela is one of the world's most revered statesmen, who led the struggle to replace the apartheid regime of South Africa with a multi-racial democracy. Jailed for 27 years, he emerged to become the country's first black president and to play a leading role in the drive for peace in other spheres of conflict. Conducting his own defence in the Rivonia court room, Mr Mandela used the stand to convey his beliefs about democracy, freedom and equality. "I have cherished the ideal of a democratic and free society in which all persons live together in harmony and with equal opportunities," he said."It is an ideal which I hope to live for and to achieve. But if needs be, it is an ideal for which I am prepared to die." In the winter of 1964 he was sentenced to life in prison. On the 11th February 1990, Nelson Mandela was release from Robben Island Prison after 27 years. He won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1993. His charisma, self-deprecating sense of humour and lack of bitterness over his harsh treatment, as well as his amazing life story, partly explain his extraordinary global appeal. Since stepping down as president in 1999, Mr Mandela has become South Africa's highest-profile ambassador, campaigning against HIV/Aids and helping to secure his country's right to host the 2010 football World Cup. Mr Mandela was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2001, he was also involved in peace negotiations in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Burundi and other countries in Africa and elsewhere. With the passing of Nelson Mandela on December 5, 2013, the impact of his life and political work was recognized by not just the people of South Africa and the African continent but oppressed and struggling peoples throughout the world. People of African descent outside of Africa, particularly in the United States, cherished the legacy of Mandela and saw within him much that was reflective and inspirational to the African American people’s movement for genuine equality and self-determination.
W.E.B. Du Bois: W.E.B. Du Bois, known as arguably one of the most intelligent individuals to ever live, W.E.B. Du Bois was instrumental in bringing along the process of human rights for African-American's. In a time when the despotic and abundant prejudice and bigotry towards African-Americans was not only tolerated, it was with reason and law. Du Bois was the first African-American to earn a PH.D from Harvard University. He was also the founding member of what we know today to be the NAACP (National Association for the Advancement of Colored People).
Jane Bolin: Jane Bolin was the first black woman to become judge in the United States (1932). She was also the first black woman to earn a law degree from Yale, the first black woman to pass the New York State bar exam and the first to join the city's law department. Bolin worked to end segregation in child placement facilities and the assignment of probation officers based on race. She also helped create a racially integrated treatment center for delinquent boys.
Dr. Ralph Johnson Bunche: Dr. Ralph Johnson Bunche received the 1950 Nobel Peace Prize for his mediation efforts in Palestine during the 1940s, he was also the first African-American to receive the honor. He also received the Medal of Freedom from President John F. Kennedy. He was also directly involved in the building of the United Nations. Bunch was also a prominent advocate of the civil rights movement, he participated in the March on Washington, and was present during Dr. Martin Luther King's "I Have A Dream" speech. He also attended the Selma to Montgomery march that led to the to the passage of the Voting Rights Act of 1965.
The message to the beloved Children of God - Celebrate Black History Month together !
Let us always take time to celebrate our diversity and freedom in which we live in the United States of America. And pray that the world at large can appreciate one another and live in peace and love with one another. Read 1 Corinthians 10:15-17, I speak as to wise men; judge ye what I say. The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ? For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread. Understand we are one in the body of Christ Jesus. There is one and only one body, one true spirit, one true Lord, one true faith, one true baptism, God is the Father of all, all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven. Read Ephesians 4:1-6,I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism,One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. If you cannot understand this message today, ask the Lord to give you some understanding. Read Philippians 2:1-2, If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies, Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Heavenly Father, help us to grow by your word. Holy Spirit, lead and guide us to seek for the Kingdom of God first. For it is written in Mark 11:24-25, Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !
