The word for today is - Harvest !

Good evening,
The word for today is - Harvest !
What time is it? Its harvest time, the fall season is surely the harvest time of the year, read Matthew 13:30-32,Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers,Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them:but gather the wheat into my barn.Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field:Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof. Now read Matthew 9:37-38,Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest. Anyone that has been generous to the poor, God will repay you for your good deeds, read Proverbs 19:16-17, He that keepeth the commandment keepeth his own soul; but he that despiseth his ways shall die.He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the Lord; and that which he hath given will he pay him again. The Bible says that the harvest is ready but the laborers are few. God plants seeds of His Word into us and with the watering of His Spirit, those seeds begin to grow, in us. As we grow in God we become His laborers. A laborer is one who goes forth in God and works in the earth doing good for others and speaking about the good news to people who don't know Him. Let us grow into the wisdom and knowledge of God, read James 1:4-6, But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Battle !

Good evening,
The word for today is - Battle !
The bible says, Hold your peace or be quiet, God will fight for you ! Sometimes it is better to be silent, for some people it would be very wise! God said, He will fight all of your battles, not some, but all! Understand this, God has a plan in everything that He dose. Ask yourself, can I trust Him__? The bible says, though he slay us, we must still trust Him, read Job 13:15, Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him. Can we trust Him like Job did? No matter what is occurring in your life never give up, never give in, because the battle is not yours it is the Lord's ! We must endure all that He allows, endure into the end. Let us learn that Gods ways are far beyond our human understanding. We must unreservedly cling to the assurance that whatever He allows in our lives is for a purpose. Better yet, His word says, it is for our good, read Romans 8:28, And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. We are called for a purpose! The enemy who roams this earth seeking to kill, steal and destroy will use every effort to make you doubt that God cares about your difficult situation. The word of God promises us that we will have peace despite our situation and that he has a plan to give us a future with hope. Jesus has paid the price for our victory in every circumstance. There is never a battle that can defeat us ( the believers). The truth is that the enemy cannot steal the purpose and plan for which God sent his only Son to redeem us! Nothing can overcome us (the believers) when your life is in Christ Jesus.Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Direct !

Good evening,
The word for today is - Direct !

When we submit to God, in all our ways and acknowledge him, then He will direct our paths, read Proverbs 3:5-6, Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Understand that submitting to God and His word is the key part of following His will. So, when we pray we should be asking the Lord to direct our foot steps in His word. Amen ! Let us get some understanding of the spiritual mind set and the flesh mind set. Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires.Read Romans 8:5-8,For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.Understand that the Lord will light the way and direct us in all our ways, all we need to do is trust Him.We must get to know the voice of God.Why? Because man has turned away from God, but He is waiting for man to be restore back to Himself. We must learn to listen in order to grow in Him.The word of God says it is good to wait quietly, read Lamentations 3:26-28,It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord. It is good for a man that he bear the yoke in his youth. He sitteth alone and keepeth silence, because he hath borne it upon him.We all need a Savior! Why? Because,we simply cannot be good enough to earn our own salvation, we need help daily! We did not earn our Salvation nor could we, but “by His grace”, we are saved! God extended grace to us based on the “redemption that is in Christ Jesus.”Amen ! No person could pay the penalty,Jesus died for us paying the ransom price for our sins, with His blood. He came to save us,read Luke 19:10,For the Son of man came to seek and to save that which was lost. He is the Light of the world, follow Him! Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is -Plainly !

Good evening
The word for today is -Plainly !

The first question is do you believe the word of God? If God said it, it's true, read 1 John 4:1, Beloved, believe not every spirit, but test the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. In other words, do not believe everyone to be a man or woman sent by God. Understand that everyone is not under the influences of the Holy Spirit. When God spoke to His disciples, He was very clear, my word is truth and life! Read Mark 4:34,But without a parable he spoke not unto them: and when they were alone, he expounded all things to his disciples. Jesus said a time is coming when I will no longer use parables for the people, read John 16:25,These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time comes, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall show you plainly of the Father. Jesus is saying, I won't use examples to speak to you. Rather, I will speak to you about the Father in plain words. Understand this Jesus was preparing them (His disciples),fully to understand the nature of his kingdom. He want his disciples to be able to instruct others; with the true knowledge of the word of God. Every true minister of the Gospel has the Spirit, and the gifts of the Spirit, of God. Heavenly Father we thank you for your Spirit that dwells within us ( the believers). Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

Good evening,
The word for today is - Careful!
Read Philippians 4:5-8,Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. No matter what the circumstance may be, we must know the fact that God is always faithful to his word, He will help us through.God has called us into His glory for a purpose, read 1 Peter 5:10, But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. We must get understanding of the power of God, He will and can strength you when things are going bad for a season. The time has come for the people of God to move forward, the season is changing, its harvest time,God has appointed you for a time as this, read Luke 10:1-2, After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come. Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest. You have been called by God to grow and do a good work, read Revelation 22:11-12,He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for this weekend is - Apply !

I'm so sorry, but my computer is in the shop, for about two weeks. I will be sending the word out in the evening everyday! Nothing just happens!

The word for this weekend is - Apply !

Let us start with the word of God, read John 1:1,In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Now understand this, if anyone listens to the word but does not apply it , that person is very foolish, read 2 Timothy 3:16-17, All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. There isn't a day that goes by when there isn't an opportunity for the renewing of our minds. As long as we live here on this earth, there are going to be things which would go against the principles that God's Word gives us. And the problem is, the world is very subtle in the way it attempts to mold us, but God has giving us away out. What are you focusing on? It should be on God and His word. One way to begin to renew our minds is to spend time focusing on God each day, by read His word daily. Read the Bible and study what you read, ask the Holy Spirit in prayer to lead you, pray about what you read and ask for strength to understand and obey.God promised to answer our prayers and give us everything we need and more, read Mark 11:24, Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. What are you seeking for? What are you applying to your life? Is it the word of God or is it the things of this world? The word of God says, if you seek His face you will find Him, read Matthew 7:7-11, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? We change our attitude and actions to conform to God’s character when we apply the word (Bible) to our lives . Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Forgiveness !
The word of God is very clear , it says to forgive one another just as Christ forgave you, read Ephesians 4:32,And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you. So, let us search our hearts and do what god has commanded us to do! I know that it is very hard sometimes, but God has commanded us to love everyone. The command is to love one another, read John 13:34-35,A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another. Let us get some understanding from the word of God. The word of God says, if anyone says, that they love God, but hates his brother or sister is a liar. God would not command us to do what we cannot do. Lets look a little deeper, the bible says, if anyone choose to be ignorant, let him be ignorant, read 1 Corinthians 14:37, If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord. God is so awesome that he told us the golden rule for life, whatever you wish that others would do to you, is what you should do also to them, read Matthew 7:12, Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets. Jesus instructed us to love our enemies, He was creating a new standard for us. But, He did not stop there, He said to pray for them also. Read Matthew 5:44-45, But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. Jesus is using an illustration of the sun rising and the rain falling on both the good and the evil, Jesus shows God’s undiscriminating love to all people. Jesus taught that His followers must demonstrate love to all kinds of people. No matter what people say about you or their faith, nationality, or personality and your enemies included. If you love your enemies and “pray for those who persecute you,” you then truly reveal that Jesus is Lord of your life. Heavenly Father help us to lay aside our self, and be more like you. Let us walk in true Love. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Law !

The word "law"has a great variety of significations; it means, commonly, in the Bible. By His death on the cross, Jesus paid the price for our sins. The Bible says:"But God shows his love for us, in that, while we were yet sinners,Christ died for us."Jesus gives new life by His Spirit, which sets people free and brings them into God’s kingdom. One of the Pharisees asked Jesus a question,“teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”But the Pharisees, when they heard that he had silenced the Sadducees, gathered themselves together. One of them, a lawyer, asked him a question, testing him, read Matthew 22:34-40, But when the Pharisees had heard that he had put the Sadducees to silence, they were gathered together. Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying, Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen ! The word for today is - Walking !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Walking !

So, do you agree that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior? The bible says, Jesus is the only way to the Father in heaven, read John 14:6, Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Do you agree with that? The bible is very clear, two people can only walk together if they agree to do so, read Amos 3:3, Can two walk together, except they be agreed? Do you walk by faith, believing the word of God ? Now get this, walking by faith is spiritual and not physical. Most people normally walk by sight for our eyes show us the way, but believers are told to walk by faith and not by sight! So, whose report will you believe? Will you believe the report of the devil or the report of the Lord? You have a free will to choose, life or death? Read Deuteronomy 30:15-18, See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil; In that I command thee this day to love the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the Lord thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it. But if thine heart turn away, so that thou wilt not hear, but shalt be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them; I denounce unto you this day, that ye shall surely perish, and that ye shall not prolong your days upon the land, whither thou passest over Jordan to go to possess it. Do you not know that your faith walk will be tested? Do you know the story of the King Nebuchadnezzar, he was told that three men didn't worship the image he had set before them. Furious with rage, Nebuchadnezzar summoned them, bring them to me. They were brought before the King Nebuchadnezzar, He said to them, “Is it true, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, that you do not serve my gods or worship the image of gold I have set up?" Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego replied to him, “King Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to defend ourselves before you in this matter. If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and he will deliver us." Wow, what kind of faith is this? Its called walking faith! Think about that, are you walking in this kind of faith? King Nebuchadnezzar was angry, He ordered the furnace to be heated seven times hotter than usual and commanded some of the strongest soldiers in his army to tie up Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego and throw them into the blazing furnace. But the King Nebuchadnezzar looked into the blazing furnace, he asked a question? “Weren’t there three men that we tied up and threw into the fire?” His advisers said, Yes! Then the King said,“Look! I see four men walking around in the fire. The King called them out, come to me, they came out. Read Daniel 3:26-28, Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, ye servants of the most high God, come forth, and come hither. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, came forth of the midst of the fire. And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king's counsellors, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them. Then Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king's word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God. When anything rises up in your life and challenges God’s Word and His promises you can hold on to the Word of God and believe and exercise your faith. The word of God promises the believers life after death. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Answer !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Answer !
If you are looking for an answer from someone, you much speak to the person right? Now speaking comes in many ways from God. Let us ask the Lord this morning to enlarge our way of thinking. Heavenly Father, we need a word from you today. It's important not to get bogged down with how God speaks. The important thing is to expect God to speak and be ready to hear Him speak in unexpected ways. He has many ways of speaking and He doesn't always speak in the way that we expect Him to ! So many people think that God always say, Yes, this is not true. The word of God says, God knows what is best for us, so sometimes the answer may be No!  Let us look at King David, he heard the Lord's "no" and quietly accepted it without resentment. That's awfully hard to do sometimes right? But we find in David's final recorded words a life-sized portrait of a man after God's own heart."God said to me," David stood up and told his people hear what I have to say, God told me no!  Read 1 Chronicles 28:1-4,And David assembled all the princes of Israel, the princes of the tribes, and the captains of the companies that ministered to the king by course, and the captains over the thousands, and captains over the hundreds, and the stewards over all the substance and possession of the king, and of his sons, with the officers, and with the mighty men, and with all the valiant men, unto Jerusalem. Then David the king stood up upon his feet, and said, Hear me, my brethren, and my people: As for me, I had in mine heart to build an house of rest for the ark of the covenant of the Lord, and for the footstool of our God, and had made ready for the building: But God said unto me, Thou shalt not build an house for my name, because thou hast been a man of war, and hast shed blood.Howbeit the Lord God of Israel chose me before all the house of my father to be king over Israel for ever: for he hath chosen Judah to be the ruler; and of the house of Judah, the house of my father; and among the sons of my father he liked me to make me king over all Israel. David was surrounded by limitless riches, yet all that wealth never captured his heart. David praised God with a grateful heart. David was not held hostage by materialism. He said, in effect, "Lord, everything we have is Yours Lord, all these beautiful elements we offer for your temple, the place where we live, the throne room, all of it is Yours Lord, everything." To David, God owned it all. Ask yourself can you still praise Him if the answer is No? Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Season !

Good morning, the word for today is - Season !

Let us take a look at the season about to change. We are going into the fall, what do you think about that? We do not know what God is doing in this season (fall) to come, but we do know it is something working for our good. The word of God says, For everything there is a season, what season is it for you? The word of God says, everything has appointed time and season by God. Let us understand that all things that have been, are, or shall be, were foreordained by God, and he has determined the time and season. We must agree with Solomon, who is the author of the book  Ecclesiastes, read Ecclesiastes 3:1-2,To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted. Let us move forward, this is saying that God arranges even the smallest details of our surroundings. Let us get some understanding, we are not in control of everything that is going on in our lives. You see man has a plan for his life, but God has another plan, read Proverbs 19:20-21,Hear counsel, and receive instruction, that thou mayest be wise in thy latter end. There are many devices in a man's heart; nevertheless the counsel of the Lord, that shall stand. We can see that we have no control of the day we are born. We have no control of who we are born to. We have no control over our gender. We have no control over the way we look, when we are born. All of these things are destined of God.We have no control over who would be with us in 2012. All of these things are determined by God. We do not have control of the time of our death either! Do we have a free will? Yes, we do, but God is the one who has number our days. God has set us apart and appointed you for the right season, read Jeremiah 1:10, See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant. God has fixed everything by his seasons, so we should be always ready, read  Job 14:5 ,Seeing his days are determined, the number of his months are with you, you have appointed his bounds that he cannot pass. In other words, God changes time and seasons, not man. The word of God says, I knew you, before you were born, I formed you in your mother's womb. In other words the Lord is saying, I knew you, before you were in the womb, and I knew the season and day you would be born, read Jeremiah 1:5, Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; and before you came forth out of the womb I sanctified you, and I ordained you a prophet unto the nations. The Bible says that we will reap in our “due season",you will find success in due time, at your appointed season. Let us trust Him and stay the course. We are going into a new season, are you looking forward to something greater and bigger then you ??? Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for the weekend is - Reveal !

Good morning,
The word for the weekend is - Reveal !

God will reveal somethings to you for appointed time! Do you not know the story of Daniel? Well, God gave Daniel a vision and He revealed something to Daniel for the right appointed time. You see there was a king named Nebuchadnezzar, he had dreams, but there was a dream that troubled Him. So, he had summoned all the wise men that he believed that could tell him the interpretation of the dream. The king said," tell me the meaning of this dream". The Chaldean's answered the king and said, “There is not a man on earth who can meet the king's demand, for no great and powerful king has asked such a thing of any magician or enchanter or Chaldean. The thing that the king asks is difficult, and no one can show it to the king. The king was very angry and very furious, so he commanded that they all be put to death. But Daniel ask a question  to Arioch, the captain of the king's guard. Tell me, “Why is the decree of the king so urgent?” So, Daniel went in and requested the king to appoint him a time, that he might show the interpretation to the king. Wow, think about that? If Daniel was wrong He would be killed also, but Daniel seeking the mercy from the God of heaven concerning this mystery and God revealed everything to Daniel, read Daniel 2:17-24, Then Daniel went to his house, and made the thing known to Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, his companions:That they would desire mercies of the God of heaven concerning this secret; that Daniel and his fellows should not perish with the rest of the wise men of Babylon. Then was the secret revealed unto Daniel in a night vision. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven.Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his:And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:He revealeth the deep and secret things: he North what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him. I thank thee, and praise thee, O thou God of my fathers, who hast given me wisdom and might, and hast made known unto me now what we desired of thee: for thou hast now made known unto us the king's matter. Therefore Daniel went in unto Arioch, whom the king had ordained to destroy the wise men of Babylon: he went and said thus unto him; Destroy not the wise men of Babylon: bring me in before the king, and I will shew unto the king the interpretation. Arioch brought in Daniel before the king, “I have found among the exiles from Judah a man who will make known to the king the interpretation.” The king says," to Daniel can you tell me its interpretation?” Daniel answered the king and said, “No wise men, enchanters, magicians, or astrologers can show to the king the mystery that the king has asked, but there is a God in heaven who reveals mysteries, and he has made known to King Nebuchadnezzar what will be in the latter days. And then King Nebuchadnezzar fell upon his face and paid homage to Daniel, and commanded that an offering and incense be offered up to him. The king answered and said to Daniel, “Truly, your God is God of gods and Lord of kings, and a revealer of mysteries, for you have been able to reveal this mystery.” Read it for yourself, Daniel chapter two! Daniel spoke everything in truth, by the revealing of the Holy Ghost. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Truth !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Truth !

The word of God says, speak the truth in love, read Ephesians 4:15-16, But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love. Some people may be thinking what is the truth? Good question, the truth is found in God's Word, read John 14:6,Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. So,if you speak the truth in love, you need to make sure that what you are saying to someone is biblical. God's people have a responsibility to speak the truth, even when others don't want to hear the truth. The bible tells us not to deceive one another. It is not good to make a statement that one knows is false, especially with the intent to deceive someone else, read Proverbs 14:5,A faithful witness will not lie: but a false witness will utter lies. Also do you not know the six things that the Lord hates? Read Proverbs 6:16-19,These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren. The Bible says that the truth is very important to God and for us!  Let us be careful to speak what is right to everyone. Remember that speaking and living the truth will help those around us come to know the Truth.Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - People!

Good morning,
The word for today is - People!

The word of God is very clear, it say, " It is greater to give than to receive, " read Acts 20:35,  I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive. The word of God says, give and it will be given back to you, read Luke 6:38,Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. The bible also warns us not to give in order to be seen or heard, God is not please with this, read Matthew 6:1-4, Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven. Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly. We have been told my the word of God to  bear one another's burdens, this is the law of Christ, read Galatians 6:1-4,Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself. But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another. A man run to Jesus and knelt before him and asked him, “Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?” Jesus made it very clear, follow me lay aside everything that you have and give it to the poor. This is Jesus talking to a rich man, read Mark 10:17-22, And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life? And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God.Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother. And he answered and said unto him, Master, all these have I observed from my youth. Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me. And he was sad at that saying, and went away grieved: for he had great possessions. He went away sad, because he had great wealth, he was one who owned a lot of property. Check this out,He had made an idol of his wealth, he turn away from God. He loved his wealth more than God. How crazy is that? This is very clear that the rich man loved the treasures of this world. Let us get some understanding about the rich man, he walked away, he was ashamed and confounded. You see he had not arrived to perfection yet, his heart was not right, he chose to enjoy the things of this world. He could not depart from his possessions. Jesus said to his disciples,"I tell you the truth, it is very difficult or hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven."Anyone that makes fun of the poor or turn away from them, insults God, Proverbs 14:31,He that oppresseth the poor reproacheth his Maker: but he that honoureth him hath mercy on the poor. Let us put our faith in Jesus Christ and his righteousness ! Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Change !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Change !

Let us get a understanding of God's word, His word will never ever change. The Bible describes God as unchangeable, eternal, immutable always existing. Whatever he reveals of himself it is eternal . All his attributes are eternal, as they flow from his infinite nature who’s essence is also eternal, unchangeable. Read Malachi 3:6, For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed. Let us get to a place in God to trust His word, Jesus said in His word, I tell you before Abraham was, I am. In other words Jesus says, I AM the past, the present, and the future, He is not limited to anything or anyone! Do you not know or heard the story of Moses talking to God? Moses is saying to God, “Suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them, The God of your fathers has sent me to you, and they ask me, What is his name? Then what shall I tell them?” Jesus says, you tell them I AM send me to you, my name change not, from generation to generation. Read Exodus 3:13-15, And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them? And God said unto Moses, I Am That I Am: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I Am hath sent me unto you. And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, the Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations. In other words there is none like Him, He is the true and living God, there was no God's before Him and there is no God's after Him, read Isaiah 43:10, Ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. Life is full of changes. The only certainty about life is that everything changes. Nothing stays the same. If things are going real well for you right now, that is good, but be aware of changes they come with and for a purpose. Now, if things are going bad for you right now think about this, at least you know that things always change and therefore they just might start getting better for you. People are changing daily, for the good or bad. You see times have changed, but God has not. Those who are growing in the knowledge of the Lord are being transformed into the image of Jesus Christ. Let us understand that if your not changing for the better, then you are changing for the worse. The point is that no one is staying the same. Every person is heading in some direction. The question for you today is what direction are you head? The word of God says, follow Me! Read 1 Corinthians 11:1-2,  Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ. Now I praise you, brethren, that ye remember me in all things, and keep the ordinances, as I delivered them to you. Heavenly Father, let us grow into the image of your Son Jesus. Let us lay aside anything that is not like you. We need your Spirit daily! The Spirit of true love and meekness, help us Holy Spirit, we need you!  Thank you Lord for your word.Amen !

The word for today is - Gospel !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Gospel !

Do we truly understand the gospel? The word of God says, heaven and earth will pass away, but His word is forever more! The word of God says, my word will not fail, my word will not disappear it is forever, read Matthew 24:35, Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. The Gospel is a message of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. The word of God says the Gospel is also considered a mystery according to Ephesians 6:19-20,And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel, For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak. Colossians says that the Gospel is the truth, read chapter,1:5-6, For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel:Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth. And also in Colossians it says that it brings hope , read chapter 1:verse 23-24,If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister; Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body's sake, which is the church. Sharing the Gospel with people is very important how can you hear the gospel without a messenger?  They that hear the Gospel and decide to believe it are definitely saved and they that hear the Gospel and decide to reject it are damned. There isn't a person in the world who has not violated what he knows to be right or wrong. The bible says, every person comes up short, read Romans 3:23-24,For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. Every person has earned condemnation for himself, but the grace of God saved us. Paul states that everyone will be judged by the gospel, whether they have heard the law or not, read Romans 2:12-16,For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;(For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified. For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;) In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel. I encourage you to seek who God is today, the Good News of Jesus Christ! Jesus is the only hope for the whole world.Jesus loves us so much, upon the cross He gave His life as an atoning sacrifice for the whole world.God is just, He does not hold people responsible for the truth they do not have, read Romans 4:15,Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression. Also read Acts 17:30,And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent. Jesus said there is only one way, and that way is not a religion. Jesus said that He is the only way to the Father. Jesus said, Narrow is the gate and way that leads to eternal life, read Matthew 7:14,Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. Every knee will bow to Jesus ,read Philippians 2:10-11,That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. God's word is divine! Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Book !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Book !

The greatest book of all is the Bible, it is divine ! It is the living water that everyone needs. The word of God says, Anyone who believes in me may come and drink from me. Jesus is saying, anyone that acknowledges me as the Messiah, and trusts in me for salvation can drink, read John 7:38,He that believes on me, as the scripture has said, out of his heart shall flow rivers of living water. In other words you will be giving life to someone else when you speak the true word of God. Not by your spirit, but by the spirit (God's spirit) that dwells within you. The Bible is more than a book detailing men's thoughts about what God is like. It is God's communication to mankind or us the believers. His words are transmitted to us through its pages. The bible is a living book!  For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart. (Hebrews 4:12). In what way is the Bible alive? It's the word of the Living God. It should and will speak to your heart. Like a surgeon's scalpel, it cuts through the facade to speak to the inner you. It gets down to the real heart of issues. The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show to His bond-servants, the things which must shortly take place; and He sent and communicated it by His angel to His bond-servant John,  who bore witness to the word of God and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, even to all that he saw.  Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of the prophecy, and heed the things which are written in it; for the time is near. (Revelation 1:1-3).To Direct  our life: Thy word is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path (Psalm 119:105). Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now I keep Thy word (Psalm 119:67). My question for you today is, are you thirsty for the water of Life ? Do you have a thirst for this water? The bible says that we should have a thirst for it. This water is everlasting, read John 4:14,But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. The word of God says, Come it is freely giving, read Revelation 22:17,And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for the weekend is - Appointed !

The word for the weekend is - Appointed !

What did Jesus tell His disciples? He told them, you didn't choose me, but I chose you. I have appointed you for a purpose! Read John 15:16, You have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that you should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever you shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it to you. Let us get some understanding of God's appointed time, it is always on time.We need to learn how to wait on His timing,God is never too early or too late, he is always on time! We need to be like Abraham, he was a great man who waited patiently intil God started to move in his life. We must wait and trust God also! We must trust God at His word regardless of the things we see or think? Understand this, God’s plans are not like our plans, read Isaiah 55:8, For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says the Lord. God said nothing is impossible for Him ! Let us learn some  principals first, how to wait on God's timing. God will fulfill every  promise He has spoken! He will grant your request, but only in its appointed time. Therefore keep in mind the principals we learned and wait for that appointed time in faith patiently. Most people seek God's guidance only in a certain area; but the Bible promises divine guidance to those who in all thy ways acknowledge Him. That means in all areas of our life. We need to acknowledge Him, in the good times and the bad times. What does it mean to acknowledge God? It means to seek Him out, consider His ways first and apply Scriptural principles by which we can base our decisions on.This is the knowledge of God.What did Jesus tell us to do? He said to remain in Him,read John 15:7,If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, you shall ask what you will, and it shall be done unto you. Jesus said to abide in Him (the living water), and let the Scriptures (the written word) abide in us! The word tells us, that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the powers of darkness (Satan) working in other people. Read Ephesians 6:12,For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in heavenly places. We are not fighting with people,we are fighting in the spiritual realm, against the rulers of the darkness of this world. The spiritual realm is as real as the natural realm. We are fighting daily, so put on the full or whole armor of God. So that we can stand firm in the battle field. We (the believers) have the power of God dwelling with in us, read Hebrews 4:12-13,For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do. Satan does not want us to move forward in our assignment, but God has a appointed time for us to move forward! Let us trust in Him, read Proverbs 3:5-6,Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Do you truly trust Him__? God wants us to trust Him! Heavenly Father, let us reach out in faith believing for something that does exist in us, receiving and reaching for something that you have already made available to us in the Spiritual realm and bringing it into our natural realm. We give you all the praise and honor in Jesus Name! Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Fair !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Fair !

How many times have you heard someone say that life is unfair? In the book of  James, he reminds the believers to be swift to hear, slow to speak and slow to wrath. Jesus never said, life would be easy, but he did promise to discipline us, to refine us, to love us and to restore us back to Himself!  Jesus said, we will face difficulties in this world, so the time has come, read John 16:32-33, Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is now come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me. These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. When we look at life we can truly say that we are blessed people. When we think about fair and unfair think about the other nations that are not free to speak out, who can not praise God freely is that fair__? Let us do our best to be fair, we should do our best to treat people right, even when others may do harm to you or treat you badly, it is important to treat people with love, and respect, read Luke 6:27-28, But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you. God has commanded us to do things by His word, we should always do good for others regardless of how they treat you! Let us speak in love and truth, read Luke 6:45, A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh. James reminds us the believers to be swift to hear, slow to speak and slow to wrath. Well when we start thinking about life being unfair just think about Jesus, was it fair that He died for us_? When we are going through just think about Jesus Christ who has suffered first, for us! The good news is that He died for you and me (the believers), in order for us to have life again. There is nothing we can do on our own to guarantee our salvation, He payed the price for us! God is holy and perfect and we are not, read Romans 3:23-26,For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. Salvation is a gift from God, not something we can earn by our own efforts, salvation comes through the sacrificial death and resurrection of Jesus, His blood, read Mark 10:24-27, And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God! It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. And they were astonished out of measure, saying among themselves, Who then can be saved? And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible. We are saved by the grace of God, who laid down His life for us,read John 10:18,No man takes it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father. Jesus is telling us no one can take my life, I am willing to humble myself and become obedient to my Father's will. Read 2 Chronicles 7:14, If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. Our Lord and Savior is saying, I the Lord has done this freely and voluntarily. I the Lord was crucified, and slain for a purpose!  Heavenly Father, let us get a deeper understanding of your love for us. Let us grow into the men and women of God for your purpose. Let us grow spiritually, by the fruit of the Spirit. Let us not be proud, arrogant, self-righteous or self-sufficient. Let us humble ourselves to your will, just like Jesus. Let us serve only you, the One and True God ! Let us be truly committed to you! Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Persecution !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Persecution !

Anyone who wants or desire to live a godly live will be persecuted, read 2 Timothy 3:12-13,Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. It has nothing to do with you being rich or poor. Let us read about the rich man who died and the poor man (Lazarus) who died also, but God had a plan, read Luke 16:19-31,There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house: For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead. Jesus tells us clearly, the world hates all of the Disciples of Jesus Christ. He also says, remember what I told you "A servant is not greater than his master",read John 15:18-20, If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. Remember the word that I said unto you,The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. The way of the world is to hate the person or people who has speaking bad about you, but the word of God tells us to pray for those who persecute us,read Matthew 5:43-45, Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. The word of God warns us to keep watching and praying, read Luke 21:36,Watch therefore, and pray always, that you may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.You have been chosen by God for a good work, stay alert at all times ! Read Ephesians 2:10,For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. The word of God says, Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven ,read Matthew 7:21-23,Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Let us pray to Our Heavenly Father, for His power to overcome persecution, and to learn how to love one another. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - World!

Good morning,
The word for today is - World!

Do you not know that, the earth is the Lord's? Now read Psalm 24:1,The earth is the Lord's, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. It is God who has giving breath to all people, and life to everything that lives. Without Him there is nothing that is! This is what the Lord says about the earth, read Isaiah 66:1, Thus says the Lord, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that you build unto me? and where is the place of my rest? Understand that the whole world belongs to God,He is the Creator of the earth, read 1 Corinthians 10:26,For the earth is the Lord's, and the fullness thereof. Do you not know that God has chosen you above all the people that are on the face of the earth for a good work, read Deuteronomy 7:6,For you are a holy people unto the Lord your God: the Lord your God has chosen you to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth. You are a royal people ( the believers), you are called by God, read 1 Peter 2:9-10, But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own; that you should show forth the praises of him who has called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:Who in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: who had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy. We are a blessed people, we are called by God for a purpose, read Ephesians 2:10,For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. God designed us to make a difference here on earth. God told Jeremiah "Before I made you in your mother's womb, I chose you. Before you were born, I set you apart for a special work", read Jeremiah 1:5, Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. Let us walk by the Spirit of God,read Psalm 1:1-6,  Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish."It is He who saved us and chose us for His holy work, not because we deserved it but because that was His plan,"read 2 Timothy 1:9-10,Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel. God redeemed us to do a good work for the kingdom, you have a special assignment. You have a purpose, and a work to fulfill here on earth. God wants to use you to make a difference in His world. He wants to work through you.Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Faithfulness !

Good morning,
The word for today is -  Faithfulness !

First and foremost, let us remember that the Bible wasn't written to us, but for us! However, God's faithfulness is something that will always prove true, read Psalm 33:4, For the word of the Lord is right; and all his works are done in truth.Understand this, He is infinitely wise, and can make no mistakes! God is true to His word, God is faithful to do what he says, read 2 Thessalonians 3:3, But the Lord is faithful, who shall establish you, and keep you from evil. So let us walk by faith not by sight! Understand that the God we serve is faithful and just, He has called us into fellowship with his Son Jesus Christ. He has made a way out for us, it is His new mercy daily that keeps us, read Lamentations 3:22-23, It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. God's word is forever more,God said my word will not past away, read Matthew 24:35, Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. How awesome is that? Think about every promise he has spoken to you, every blessing is promised to us His children will come to past. God is not like man, He can not lie, read Numbers 23:19,God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? God's word is a living word, a word that always workout for our good, His children. So, since God cannot lie we can count on Him to do exactly what He promised. God is not like man who loses interest in people,God is true to his word, He acts for the good of others! God never loses interest in us,He is immutable, He never changes His mind. Some people may be asking, Why? Because, God sees the best in us and He wants the best for us! God wants us to seek Him first, to believe in Him and trust Him, He is our only true source ! God’s faithfulness is part of His essence, it affects everything He says and everything He does. God’s faithfulness is unlimited. He will fulfill His Word whether we are faithful to Him or not. The Apostle Paul said, “If we are faithless, He remains faithful; for He cannot deny Himself "read 2 Timothy 2:12-13, If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us: If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself. How great is your faithfulness? Are we denying others, laying other people aside to please someone else? Are we faithful to do what is right in the eye sight of others and God ? The word of God says, Do to others whatever you would like them to do to you, read Matthew 7:12,Therefore all things whatsoever you would that men should do to you, do you even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets. In other words put yourself in the place of the other person, and ask yourself what would you expect from them? Read Luke 16:10-12,He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much. If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches? And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man's, who shall give you that which is your own? Wow! Heavenly Father, we thank you for your faithfulness to your word. We thank you for your new mercy and grace today and forever more! Where would we be without you? We need your help holy spirit ,we cannot be faithful by our own strength, but by your power Lord. Let us learn to be faithful over the small things in live and the large things. Let us be faithful in all that we say and do. Let us be faithful and true to you and one another! Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Approach!

The word for today is -  Approach!

Some people don't know how to approach the word of God, just come to Him and speak,Heavenly Father,I believe in you, I need you! Then you should get a bible, pick up the word of God and open the book of life. The word of God is a living word, it will speak to your heart. Here are some principles to guide you,so how do we approach the Bible so that we don’t get discouraged or led astray? We must pray or ask God first to give us wisdom before we approach His Word. We must be patient in reading the Scripture, and we must be willing or open to learn. You see the Holy Spirit is willing ,but the flesh is not, read Romans 8:7,Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.We must submit to God, read James 4:7,Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. When the Scripture is speaking, it is speaking to your Spiritual man.You do know that God is a Spirit, right? So, anything that comes from God is spiritual ! We should also try to learn from others who have journeyed through the Scriptures before us.This is why God has ordained preachers and teachers. We need others to help teach us also; otherwise why would he give some people with the gift of teaching and preaching? God doesn’t make mistakes, even down to the littlest details, we need one another. We need to remember that the Scripture is the final authority, it is the word of God. If somebody says anything that contradicts Scripture, the Scripture is right and they are wrong! This is why it is important to always give Scripture references when making Biblical claims and assertions. We need daily meals so our body has its needed energy and we need Spiritually food, we need our Spiritual food which is the Word of God daily also! We must read it and think upon it regularly, just like eating physical food. What ever the Holy Spirit will reveal to us, it is for us to grow in the knowledge and understanding of His word. Let us approach His word freely ! Jesus has made a way for us to enter into the throne of grace, read Hebrews 4:16,Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. Let us approach the throne of grace freely and boldly! The Holy Scriptures are the word of God! Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Doubt !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Doubt !

The bible speaks about a double minded person, it says do not be double minded, read James 1:6-8,But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. So many people are walking around with doubt in their hearts and mind. Let us define the word doubt first, it means, a  lack of certainty that often leads to irresolution or  uncertain and  a lack of trust. The word of God is clear, you must believe in Him. You can not walk around trusting the word of man. God said in His word, where is your faith?  Think about that for a second? Jesus is asking His disciples a question you and me? You are a disciple of Jesus Christ if you believe in Him, read Luke 8:25, And he said unto them, Where is your faith? And they being afraid wondered, saying one to another, What manner of man is this! for he commands even the winds and water, and they obey him. So, why is it so hard for mankind to trust and obey God's word? Do you not know the story of Jesus walking on water? Jesus told the disciples to get into a boat and go on ahead of him to the other side of a lake. After he had told them to go, He went up on a mountainside by himself to pray. Later that night, he was there alone, and the boat was already a distance from land, buffeted by the waves because the wind was against it. The disciples didn't know what to do, just like us sometimes. The word of God says, I the Lord will never leave you or forsake you, I AM always with you, read Deuteronomy 31:8,And the Lord, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed. So,Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake (water). When the disciples saw him walking on the lake (water), they were terrified. “It’s a ghost,” they said, and cried out in fear. Jesus said,It is I, don’t be afraid. Jesus is saying to His disciples, why have you not exercise your faith? The disciples were looking for more faith, but the word of God says, If you have faith the size of a mustard seed ,nothing will be impossible for you."Do you not know that a mustard seed is the smallest seed you can plant in the ground? The one disciple name Peter says,Lord,if it’s you“tell me to come to you on the water.Jesus replied “Come,”he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out,“Lord, save me!”Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him.“You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt"? Get understanding, that if you take you eye's off of the Lord you will sink also! Let us be strong and courageous by the word of God and trust Him, read Proverbs 3:5-6,Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. The word of God says, we walk by faith not by sight! Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !

The word for today is - Humble !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Humble !

The bible is clear about being humble and true to one another. It is only in being humble that we realize just how much we need God and one another. We must lay down our pride and ask the Lord to help us learn His ways. Those who are to proud believe they don't need God in their lives, well your wrong! Let us turn away from pride, and walk into the light. When Jesus spoke He was humble and always true to His word. Some people may be asking why should people be meek and humble? During his ministry, Jesus spoke about the importance of being humble, He said take my yoke upon you and learn from me. Jesus is saying, I AM gentle and humble, read Matthew 11:29-30, Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. One who is truly meek and humble does not belittle or neglect the good qualities of others in order to obtain glory and honor and recognition for himself or herself. Never make fun of God's people or His elect ! One of the most dangerous things you could do is speak bad or put your hands on a true man or woman of God!  The word of God says, touch not my anointed ones, read Psalm 105:15,Saying, Touch not my anointed, and do my prophets no harm. God has called them, they belong to Him and God regarded them as his own. The word of God tells us to be more like Him. Jesus humbled himself to the will of his Father.Jesus Christ is the ultimate example of a person being humble. He humbled Himself and became obedient to death, read Philippians 2:7-8,But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wow! Let us pick up the cross and follow Him,If we seek to please men rather than God, we fail. If we take up our cross and follow Him daily we will have peace with one another, read Mark 8:34, And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. Do you hear Him calling you? Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !
