The word for today is - Thirsty !

We are all thirsty everyday or daily, so we all are looking for something to fulfill that thirst. The question is this, what are you drinking to fulfill that thirst? Is it spring water or living water? Are you thirsty for the Jesus __?The answer to this question should be Yes! Everyone is thirsty for something to meet their needs. Jesus spoke about us being thirsty for Him, if your thirsty come to Him, read John 7:37-39, In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.) Let us understand that this water that comes from Him is divine. In other words, there is none like it, you can not buy it from the store, it comes from God. We should have a spiritual thirst, why? Because, God blesses those who hunger and thirst for Him, read Matthew 5:6,Blessed are they who do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. The word of God says, anyone that is hungry, let Him come to Him,they shall be satisfied as a hungry man is when supplied with food, or a thirsty man when supplied with drink. In other words, you shall be satisfied ! The Bible says that we are prisoners of “the waterless pit, read Zechariah 9:11, As for thee also, by the blood of thy covenant I have sent forth thy prisoners out of the pit wherein is no water. How long do you think a person can live without drinking water? Not very long, you can live a long time without food, but not without water! So have you ever been really thirsty? So thirsty that you thought you were going to die?We all need the spiritual water that Jesus gives. Jesus is the Living Water! This is the water, that we all need, whether we are in Africa, India,China or the United States.Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !
