The word for today is - Forgiveness !

The word of God is very clear , it says to forgive one another just as Christ forgave you, read Ephesians 4:32,And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you. So, let us search our hearts and do what god has commanded us to do! I know that it is very hard sometimes, but God has commanded us to love everyone. The command is to love one another, read John 13:34-35,A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another. Let us get some understanding from the word of God. The word of God says, if anyone says, that they love God, but hates his brother or sister is a liar. God would not command us to do what we cannot do. Lets look a little deeper, the bible says, if anyone choose to be ignorant, let him be ignorant, read 1 Corinthians 14:37, If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord. God is so awesome that he told us the golden rule for life, whatever you wish that others would do to you, is what you should do also to them, read Matthew 7:12, Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets. Jesus instructed us to love our enemies, He was creating a new standard for us. But, He did not stop there, He said to pray for them also. Read Matthew 5:44-45, But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. Jesus is using an illustration of the sun rising and the rain falling on both the good and the evil, Jesus shows God’s undiscriminating love to all people. Jesus taught that His followers must demonstrate love to all kinds of people. No matter what people say about you or their faith, nationality, or personality and your enemies included. If you love your enemies and “pray for those who persecute you,” you then truly reveal that Jesus is Lord of your life. Heavenly Father help us to lay aside our self, and be more like you.
