The word for today is - Humble !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Humble !

The bible is clear about being humble and true to one another. It is only in being humble that we realize just how much we need God and one another. We must lay down our pride and ask the Lord to help us learn His ways. Those who are to proud believe they don't need God in their lives, well your wrong! Let us turn away from pride, and walk into the light. When Jesus spoke He was humble and always true to His word. Some people may be asking why should people be meek and humble? During his ministry, Jesus spoke about the importance of being humble, He said take my yoke upon you and learn from me. Jesus is saying, I AM gentle and humble, read Matthew 11:29-30, Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. One who is truly meek and humble does not belittle or neglect the good qualities of others in order to obtain glory and honor and recognition for himself or herself. Never make fun of God's people or His elect ! One of the most dangerous things you could do is speak bad or put your hands on a true man or woman of God!  The word of God says, touch not my anointed ones, read Psalm 105:15,Saying, Touch not my anointed, and do my prophets no harm. God has called them, they belong to Him and God regarded them as his own. The word of God tells us to be more like Him. Jesus humbled himself to the will of his Father.Jesus Christ is the ultimate example of a person being humble. He humbled Himself and became obedient to death, read Philippians 2:7-8,But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wow! Let us pick up the cross and follow Him,If we seek to please men rather than God, we fail. If we take up our cross and follow Him daily we will have peace with one another, read Mark 8:34, And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. Do you hear Him calling you? Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !
