The word for today is - Fair !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Fair !

How many times have you heard someone say that life is unfair? In the book of  James, he reminds the believers to be swift to hear, slow to speak and slow to wrath. Jesus never said, life would be easy, but he did promise to discipline us, to refine us, to love us and to restore us back to Himself!  Jesus said, we will face difficulties in this world, so the time has come, read John 16:32-33, Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is now come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me. These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. When we look at life we can truly say that we are blessed people. When we think about fair and unfair think about the other nations that are not free to speak out, who can not praise God freely is that fair__? Let us do our best to be fair, we should do our best to treat people right, even when others may do harm to you or treat you badly, it is important to treat people with love, and respect, read Luke 6:27-28, But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you. God has commanded us to do things by His word, we should always do good for others regardless of how they treat you! Let us speak in love and truth, read Luke 6:45, A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh. James reminds us the believers to be swift to hear, slow to speak and slow to wrath. Well when we start thinking about life being unfair just think about Jesus, was it fair that He died for us_? When we are going through just think about Jesus Christ who has suffered first, for us! The good news is that He died for you and me (the believers), in order for us to have life again. There is nothing we can do on our own to guarantee our salvation, He payed the price for us! God is holy and perfect and we are not, read Romans 3:23-26,For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. Salvation is a gift from God, not something we can earn by our own efforts, salvation comes through the sacrificial death and resurrection of Jesus, His blood, read Mark 10:24-27, And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God! It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. And they were astonished out of measure, saying among themselves, Who then can be saved? And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible. We are saved by the grace of God, who laid down His life for us,read John 10:18,No man takes it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father. Jesus is telling us no one can take my life, I am willing to humble myself and become obedient to my Father's will. Read 2 Chronicles 7:14, If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. Our Lord and Savior is saying, I the Lord has done this freely and voluntarily. I the Lord was crucified, and slain for a purpose!  Heavenly Father, let us get a deeper understanding of your love for us. Let us grow into the men and women of God for your purpose. Let us grow spiritually, by the fruit of the Spirit. Let us not be proud, arrogant, self-righteous or self-sufficient. Let us humble ourselves to your will, just like Jesus. Let us serve only you, the One and True God ! Let us be truly committed to you! Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !
