The word for today is - Yesterday !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Yesterday !

Read Isaiah 43:18-21,"Remember ye not the former things", neither consider the things of old.Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. The beast of the field shall honour me, the dragons and the owls: because I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen. This people have I formed for myself; they shall shew forth my praise. So, you have to encourage yourself today, speak the word over yourself everyday. I cannot change what has already happened, I may have suffered deprivation in the past, but I have not been degraded or demeaned by it, Im moving forward to the higher calling which is in Christ Jesus. Read Philippians 3:13-14,Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. So, its better to concentrate on today. I thank you Lord for this day ! If you are living your life consumed by the past, you are wasting the greatest moments in your life. Stop thinking about the past, and start running the race that is before you. Time is of the essence, don’t waste your time playing around or thinking about yesterday, its a time to be born and a time to die. Use your time wise, rather than having people or other things controlling your life, you can go to the Lord in prayer for directions. You have to leave some of your experiences behind and start viewing things from a completely different perspective. The most efficient way to change your perspective and to discover insights that remained completely unknown is to trust God's word. We all face battles in this life with great opportunities to despair just as David did, but instead of self-pity or giving up, he did the brave thing, he chose to continue for the sake of all who would be adversely affected if he quit. Read 1 Samuel 30:6,And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the Lord his God. You see David, had already been anointed to be the next king of Israel. David was God’s chosen and anointed to lead all of Israel, yet he faced great disappointments, heartaches and problems, over an extended time. Its a choice to die in the past or live for today? Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !
