Valentines Day is a day to express your love, and to celebrate the Spirit of love.

The word for today is - Love !!

Read John 3:16,For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Now thats Love, He gave His one and only Son for us ! Understand this, He gave His Son to restore us back to Himself ! God loved you before you loved Him,its in the word, read 1 John 4:19,We love him, because he first loved us. Wow ! True love is, God’s agape love! Jesus told us that we have 2 great commandments as believers, Love God first and love your neighbor. We are the children of God,read 1 John 4:6-8,We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error. Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. Now ask yourself, have you been treating others with respect and dignity? God loves us so much that He layed down His life for us, read 1 John 3:16-18,Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth. This is God's word, do this! Now read John 15:12-14,This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. God has commanded us to abideth in Love, read 1 Corinthians 13:13,And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity. Now, the word also tells us to Love our enemies and pray for them, read Matthew 5:43-48,Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. God's word says, be a blessingto others, always speak in Love and truth. So, the word of God says, if you love God and hate anyone, your a liar. Read 1 John 4:20-21,If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.This is a command to love one another. Do you not know that God has something against some people. Some people may say, what? Read Revelation 2:4-5,Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent. Understand that the light of God will be removed, you will be walking in a cloud of grayness. Grayness is,of a color that is a mixture or blend of black and white. In other words,repent for walking around with hate in your heart. Read 1 John 4:8,He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.Our first submission should be unto the Lord,read Matthew 22:37-40, Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. God never forces anyone to follow Him nor does He want us to be forced to follow or yield to another human being. If we obey the word of God, we will find that we have favor with the people in our lives and God. He wants us to lovingly submit to Him and to each other.
