The word for today is - Agreement !

 

When we say Amen, it should only be that we agree or we are in agreement with the word of God. It means that we believe all that we have read in the bible or heard from the bible are true. Some people say Amen simply from habit, and they do not even understand want is being said. The word says,If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself. This means if you wish to come after Me, you must turn from your selfish ways.Amen ! Read Matthew 16:24,Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. Amen ! A great multitude followed him, because they saw his miracles which he did on them that were diseased. The sixth chapter of the Gospel of John speaks of two great miracles ,the feeding of the 5,000 and Jesus’ walking on the water.You have to understand that the one that walks in the same way has Christ,is led by his (God's) Spirit. Read John 6:29-40,Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. They said therefore unto him, What sign shewest thou then, that we may see, and believe thee? what dost thou work? Our fathers did eat manna in the desert; as it is written, He gave them bread from heaven to eat.Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven.For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread.And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not.All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.The time is now, take up the cross. Amen ! Read John 13:1,Now before the feast of the passover, when Jesus knew that his hour had come that he should depart out of this world unto the Father, having loved his own who were in the world, he loved them unto the end. He loved, His disciples who were still in the world, but not of the world. Read John 15:19,If you were of the world, the world would love its own: but because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. You are chosen, out of darkness into the light,read 1 Peter 2:9-10,But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own; that you should show forth the praises of him who has called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:Who in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: who had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy. The world cannot stop the plan of God,you are chosen by God. Jesus says, in John 6:70, Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil? God has a plan for your life. Do you agree?Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !
