The word for today is - Prayer- part two !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Prayer- part two !

Lets look at prayer part-two,some people come to the Lord in prayer for answers.  I believe that an answer is many times closer than we think, but because we want it to be our way, done right now. We do not see it far off, God knows an easier and better way of answering our prayer than what we expect. We have to find out if it is God’s will first. Many claim if someone who is sick is not healed, it is God’s will. God wanted to use the sickness in order to witness to other sick people. Let's look at  the Lord’s prayer, we pray “Let your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.” In Heaven there is no sickness so therefore it must be God’s will that His kingdom, which includes healing, will come to us.Our aim should be to encourage faith, instead of condemning it. Jesus never condemned this way. He pointed out the disciples’ lack of faith, but also helped them strengthening their own faith. We have to choose to endure in prayer and not give up, even though it may take a while. Understand this,God is always on time..Endurance is maybe one of the most important things when it comes to receiving answers to prayer. Can you wait of the Lord for the answer?  You see we live in an instant world .We have instant food, instant coffee, and a microwave in order to cook fast. We have fast cars and planes in order to travel fast and efficient. We are trained to expect everything to be done in a hurry, as little time as possible. But this is not how praying works. The answer can be delay. If it does, it is important not to give up, but instead continue to pray. This is what faith is; to not see the answer yet but not give up before you have received the answer. Abraham stands out as an example of a man in the Bible who had endurance. He believed and trusted God, even though the promise delayed several years before it came to pass read Hebrews 11:8-13, By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went. By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise: For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God. Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised. Therefore sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable. These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. One reason why an answer can delay can be because of resistance in the spiritual realm, as Daniel experienced  read Daniel chapter 10:1-21. Jesus once told a parable about a widow who did not give up. Jesus says, that men should always pray, and not to give up. Read Luke 18:1-8.Then Jesus told his disciples this parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up. He said: "In a certain town there was a judge who neither feared God nor cared about men. And there was a widow in that town who kept coming to him with the plea, `Grant me justice against my adversary.'"For some time he refused. But finally he said to himself, `Even though I don't fear God or care about men, yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will see that she gets justice, so that she won't eventually wear me out with her coming!' "And the Lord said, "Listen to what the unjust judge says. And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?" The Spirit of God is calling for prayer! We need to know how to enter into God's presence now. We must learn how to communion with God.  We know that God is a Spirit, so with must go into the Spiritual realm. Your Spirit ( YOUR HEART) must be right before you enter into the presence of God.Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !
