The word for today is - Opportunity !

 

We have the opportunity of prayer everyday freely, so we should take advantage of the opportunity to pray! Amen? In prayer we find strength, peace, comfort, joy, love, and oneness with God in prayer. Don’t let your life be a (if) I had prayed more things would be different. Let it be a life filled with God's plan, because you took advantage of the opportunity to pray. The word of God says,let everything that has breath Praise the Lord, read Psalm 150:1-6,Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord. Sometimes we miss opportunities when we disobey God and do things without His direction, that is being disobedience to the word of God.You have to understand that Jesus prayed for all believers to be "one" just as He and His Father are one, read John 17:20-22,Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one. Lets look at Ephesians 5:5-11,For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. Be not ye therefore partakers with them. For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. We have to walk by the Spirit of God (light). You have to understand that every opportunitie that we have here on earth, we should be walking in Love. We must answer to God, not only for what we do maliciously, but for what we do heedlessly.The word of God tells us to love one another, pray for one another, forgive one another, and help one another. Now lets read Exodus 22:21,You shall neither wrong a stranger, nor oppress him: for you were strangers in the land of Egypt. We don't know who is a stranger to God or a believer. So, anyone who willfully, knowingly rejects Jesus Christ as the Savior will not have the opportunity to live forever with our Heavenly Father. A member who is not making opportunity to use his or her spiritual abilities to serve, is not a good steward of God's blessings.We should always be working for the Lord every opportunity that comes our way to speak about the gospel of the Kingdom of God.
