The word for today is - Deeper !

 

Its time to seek the Lord with all your heart. Lets read Hosea 10:12,Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the Lord, till he comes and rains righteousness upon you. Do you have a desire to draw nearer to God? How close do you really want to get to Him or know Him? The only desire you should have is the desire to do God's will, read James 4:8, Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. You can not serve God and Satan. Also, read Psalm 37:4, Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.We need a deeper hunger for God's word, read  Jeremiah 29:13,And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. We have to seek Him now, why because one day He will not be found. Read Isaiah 55:6-8,Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. There is a way which seems right unto a man. Man looks at it and sizes it up, saying, I believe this way is good for me: But God is telling us not to look at our ways,for many of those ways are actually the ways of death. If you want to draw closer to God, you are going to have to do so on His terms, not on your terms. Read Proverbs 29:5-6,A man that flattereth his neighbour spreadeth a net for his feet. In the transgression of an evil man there is a snare: but the righteous doth sing and rejoice.Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !
