The word for today is- Peace!

Good morning,
The word for today is- Peace!

Many people are looking and asking when will things get better? Who do we turn to, you have to turn to the Lord, your hope is in Him. Can we look forward with hope, regardless of the world's circumstances? Yes, we can ! Who knows what the future holds? Only, God ! The word of God tells us to hold on, help is on the way. The word says, I am God, is anything to hard for me? No! Most often lack of peace results simply from the absence of God in ones live. As we get to know God and listen to what he says in the Bible, he brings about that peace of mind in our lives, that we need. You see we can not do it ourselves, we all need help from the Lord. The word of God say turn to me, read Isaiah 45:22, Look unto me, and be you saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else. No one can give you the peace that your looking for, its not in people or things, its in the Lord. You see its a free gift. Read John 14:27,Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. God will keep us in “perfect peace” if our minds are “stayed” on Him, read Isaiah 26:3,Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. The key word is, if you keep your mind on Him.  Peace of mind and the tranquility of spirit that accompanies it are only available when we have true peace with God through the sacrifice of Christ on the cross, in full payment for our sins. Those who attempt to find peace in worldly pursuits will find themselves sadly deceived. Read Isaiah 53:5, But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. When we keep our eyes focused on God, we have to remember his love for us and we have to realize that we truly have nothing to worry about. God has a wonderful plan for our lives, and part of that plan includes taking care of us. Thank you Lord. Read Galatians 6:8-9, For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !
