The word for today is - Believing!

Lets start with God's word, God's word is true. The word from God tells us that you must believe in His word first. Read John 3:16-18,For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. There are those who have faith but they are letting their faith slip away read 2 Timothy 2:18,Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some. If we don't want evil forces to overthrow our faith we need to know how to keep our faith strong. God's definition of faith takes precedence over man's definition of faith. There are all kinds of faith in the world, even the demons have faith. Read James 2:18-19,Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. But only the one true faith is the truth. So,If we want to know how God defines faith we will have to go to the Bible, it is the word of God. God sent His one and only Son, to save us, the believers. The word says, everyone did not and will not receive Him. Read John 6:64,But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him. Now, that is powerful, He knew from the beginning of time. Also,Read John 1:11-13,He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.The Son of God is born by the Spirit of God, and to the beievers we are of the same Spirit.You see there is only One true God, One true Spirit, One true faith, and One true baptism, it is not of water, but of the Spirit, its the baptism of the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of God. Read  Philippians 1:5-6, For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now; Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. You must believe in the true gospel. The word has giving us a warning, read Matthew 24:23-26, Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Behold, I have told you before. Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. This is not the Spirit of God,if it does not line up with the word from God don't follow it or them. The word of God brings joy and peace. Read Romans 15:13,Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.
