The word for today is - Pain !

The word for today is - Pain !
Lets consider what Paul said in 2 Corinthians 12:8-9, For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Paul was speaking of a “thorn in his flesh” that was troubling him. Is their something troubling you? We don’t know what it was, but it seemed to have been painful for Paul. He recognized that God’s grace was being given to him so he could endure. God will give His children the grace to bear pain. You have to understand that our Heavenly Father is always working things out for our good. The word of God is saying to us, my grace is enough; it's all you need, my word! Certainly, grief and sorrow are natural emotions that we all experience when we lose someone or something and it is not wrong. But, God is the answer and has the answer to the problem. When people are happy, you can tell by the sparkle in their eyes, a smile and their attitude. And,you can also tell when a person is sad or in pain, by looking at a person's face or by the way they act.  Especially when you know a person, you will see the sorrow in their heart. Lets read Revelation 21:4, And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. Its okay to tell  the person or people to give it to Jesus, He will bring you through it. The Lord said, I will give you rest, read Matthew 11:28-30,Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Lets get understanding, Jesus died on the cross, not only to give us eternal life, but He also died to take our grief and sorrows. Jesus Christ, on the cross bore all of our iniquities, pain, sickness and sorrow. The word tells us that He was wounded for our transgressions.  Read Isaiah 53:4-6,Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.The word tells us that He did it for you and me the children of God. Read 1 Peter 4:12-19,Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified. But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters.Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf. For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear? Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator. Lord we thank you for all that you have done for us.  Read 1John 3:16,Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. So, get this, your pain is a small thing, when you start thinking about the pain that Jesus took for you and I ! Now read John 16:33, this is the Lord speaking,These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. Wow, that is powerful! Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !
