The word for today is - Peace!

Good morning,
The word for today is - Peace!

Do you have peace? Peace within us, is what we all strive for. Finding true peace only comes from one place, and that is with and in God. We will encounter hardships throughout our lives, and it is okay, you see God has giving us a way out. Whether we are believers or not, there will be times when we struggle to find peace and contentment. When that happens, you must turn to God, and pray for peace within yourself. He says in His word, my peace I give unto you, that is the Spirit of God within you.Read John 14:27,Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. He is telling us, nothing is to hard for me, Im within you, my Spirit. Read Isaiah 26:3,Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Do you trust Him? As long as you keep your mind on the Lord the bad can not overtake you, but once you take your mind off of Him ( Jesus), the devil can take control of your mind, but the Lord gives you strength to overcome the bad with His everlasting strength that will never run out. Our peace of mind can be greatly shaken, at those moments when the heat is turn on. No matter what happens in the world or in our own individual lives there is a place of peace. He says it is shaky ground to put our hope and faith in ourselves, or in other people, or in anything this world offers. Instead, he wants us to trust in him. He says, "Everyone who hears these words of mine, and acts upon them, may be compared to a wise man, who built his house upon the rock. God knows what will happen tomorrow, next week, next year, the next decade. He says, "I am God, and there is no one like me, declaring the end from the beginning."He knows what will happen in the future. More importantly, he knows what will occur in your life and will be there for you when it happens, if you've chosen to include him in your life. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !
