The word for today is - People!

Good morning,
The word for today is - People!

Let's first look at the beginning in Genesis 1:1, In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. This verse says that he created everything that exists.Okay! When Jesus got angry at the moneychangers in the temple or the self-serving Pharisees it was because they were exploiting religion instead of using it to bring people closer to God. Jesus taught the truth but they refused to listen. The Bible states that leaders are accountable for leading God's people in the right direction. They are accountable for warning others when they are going the wrong way.Sometimes people who are living in a way that is contrary to God's plan need someone to warn them about the consequences of their choices. God holds teachers, leaders and believers who knows the true word accountable for the ways in which they lead God's people. The Bible warns people in James 3:1, My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation. Do you not know that teachers are leaders of God's people? Do you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly? Read in Ezekiel 33:8-9, "When I say unto the wicked, 'O wicked man, thou shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked (speak out to dissuade him) from his ways, that wicked man shall die in his  iniquity (sin); but his blood will I (Lord) require at thine hand. This means the Lord will hold you accountable for his blood.  In verse 9, Nevertheless,if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity(sin); but thou hast delivered thy soul. We need to tell God's people what the word says, We need to be able to tell other people what ( the word or Spirit) is telling us.What we need to do is reintroduce people to Jesus, his story, his life and his teachings. Not by forcing people to agree with us, but by giving them adequate examples and reasons to believe in Christ.Thank you God for your word. Amen !
