The word for today is - Depart !

Good morning,
The word for today is - Depart !

Let's read 1 John 2:15, Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. If any man ruling principle of his life is to gain the things of the world and enjoy that of the world it shows that his heart has never been renewed, and that he has no part with the children of God. If you give place to the love of the world, the love of God cannot dwell in you; and if you have not his love, you can have no peace. Do you have  three ruling inclinations of depraved nature; The lust of the flesh of the body: wrong desires of the heart,or the lust of the eye: the eyes are delighted with riches and rich possessions; this is the lust of covetousness, and the pride of life: a vain man craves the grandeur and pomp of a vain glorious life; this includes thirst after honour and applause. Men of God should live temperate, moderate lives, overcoming poverty and avoiding extreme wealth. Jesus always went about giving to the poor. He never stored up His wealth even though He apparently handled a lot of money, thus the need for a treasurer Judas ,read John 13:29.  He gave away the things He could have used on Himself, yet He never lacked as He went about ministering.  Can you do that? He should be our example today. The affection and lust for the things of this world do not portray the Spirit of Christ. Examining the conversation with the people you talk with everyday. Do they speak of God's kingdom, His righteousness, and His love; or does their conversation center on the things of this world and life ( cars, big homes, money)? That's the Spirit of the world. Do you walk in faith, or are you continually looking to other men for your needs to be supplied? Read 1 John 2:15-17,Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. Let's read Matthew 24:35"Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall never pass away( never depart away)!" The love of God shall never fail. Without constant watching and prayer, we cannot escape the world, or obtain victory over the god and prince of it (Satan),1Jn 2:18-23. Also read Revelation 20:1-5, And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years. And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season. And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Our Father, with His almighty power, will keep the devil from deceiving mankind.Thank you God for your word. Amen !
