The message for the beloved Children of God - Being Content !

Praise God for Another Day, " Holy Week"
The message for the beloved Children of God - Being Content !
When the author of Hebrews wanted to teach his readers about contentment. He reminds us what God had said in His Word. In Hebrews 13:5, Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, ‘I will never leave you nor forsake you.’  To the children of God the unnecessary fear is forgetfulness, an inability to remember and trust what the God of the universe has said and done for us. You will never be alone, it's God's Promise to His sheep. No matter how desperate and alone you maybe feeling, no matter how much opposition you're facing, no matter how precarious your circumstances become, He has spoken, "I will be with you always". His presence can calm any fear that you maybe facing today, tomorrow, next week, months or years later. Only, if you don’t forget that He’s there, He’s near, and He’s attentive. The word for content is the same word when Jesus spoke to the Apostle Paul in (NIV) 2 Corinthians 12:9–10, But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." "Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong". We're stronger because, "Our Lord and Savior Lives" so we can face tomorrow. It says in Philippians 4:11-12, Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. This word has two main meanings. The first has to do with being pleased and satisfied (feeling content)within self or making someone else feel happy and at peace within (contenting them). My question today is who is your Shepherd___ ? Let's read Palms 23,The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.  It speaks about God being our shepherd and all the wonderful things that he does for us, his sheep. When we say, "The Lord is my Shepherd," we acknowledge our dependence upon him, his ownership of us, and our personal relationship with him. Get understanding "The Lord is my shepherd;" if He's not a Shepherd to anyone else, he is a Shepherd to his Sheep; he cares for us, he watches over us, and he preserves us. The words are in the present tense, that's in the "NOW." Whatever the believers position maybe, he or she is under the pastoral care of Jehovah. Let us rejoice together, because He's with us at all times. Heavenly Father, we come before thy worshiping you Lord in spirit and truth. For you are worthy to be praise. We bow before you Jesus as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. For you Lord have all power, strength, ability and authority over everyone and everything. Amen !

Two Scriptures to Meditate on this week: " Holy Week"

Matthew 8:26-27, And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith?  Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm. But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him!

Mark 1:27, And they were all amazed, insomuch that they questioned among themselves, saying, What thing is this? what new doctrine is this? for with authority commandeth he even the unclean spirits, and they do obey him.
