A message for the weekend-The Power of Praise !

Good morning, To the beloved Children of God
A message for the weekend-The Power of Praise !
It is easy to praise God when the sun is shining bright, when our children are in school and doing well, when everything is going great at work and home right ? Let's sing this old hymn we're in this together," Great is Thy faithfulness,"O God my Father, There is no shadow of turning with Thee; Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not. As Thou hast been Thou forever wilt be. " Great is Thy Faithfulness !" "Great is Thy faithfulness!" Morning by morning new mercies I see; All I have needed Thy hand hath provided. " Great is Thy faithfulness," Lord, unto me. Wow I'll stop there, that's very powerful, something to meditate on this morning and weekend. But, when the storms of Life are raging the last thing some people feel like doing is praising God right ? Yet, this is the very time (NOW) when we need to lift up our hands and every voice to Him in praise. Jesus even warned us that trouble would find us in this life. And the word also tells us that Jesus has already overcame the world. In John 16:33, These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. There is hope and help in Christ Jesus, we walk by faith, not by sight. Amen ! We'll experience some kind of pressure in this world, but we're not crushed, nor defeated. We may not understand at times and don't know what to do yet, but giving in or quitting isn't an option. Children of God the Lord will never forsake us. In Isaiah 43:1-2, But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. This is a promise, even when we cannot see or feel it right now, God is working everything out for our good. One of the most powerful things you have is a sound from within you. Something powerful happens in the spirit realm (world) when you cry out Abba ( Heavenly Father).Praise is inherent in each and every one of us. It is something we were created to do.The four powerful things about the power of praise it gives us access to God, in Psalms 100:1-5, A Psalm of praise. Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands. Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.  Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations. The power of praise will change your way of thinking, it's personal with God, and it defeats the enemy. It's in 2 Chronicles 20:21, And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the LORD, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the LORD; for his mercy endureth for ever. The power in praise, how it brings heaven down into the circumstances of earth. When God invades the atmosphere, mountains move, yokes break, chains fall off and light overtakes darkness. When we choose to listen and learn from God's Word, He will teach us to do His will. The first thing we need is understanding, He is good, He has all power in His hand, the Spirit will lead us into all righteousness and truth ( Knowledge) . Heavenly Father, we come before you at the throne of grace, we're trusting you with this battle (COVID -19). For we know that as we pray and praise your Holy Name in the midst of the storm of life, our faith is in you. Lord, we will give you praise at all times. We thank and praise your Holy Name forever.

Two Scriptures to Meditate on this week:
John 3:16, For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Galatians 2:20,I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
