The message for the beloved Children of God is - Giving Yourself !

The message for the beloved Children of God is - Giving Yourself !

The Bible offers many principles to aid the process of making decisions that honor God daily. Let us begin with prayer giving God thanks for His Word and another day. The Word of God tells us to pray in everything. If's in 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” If we should pray in all situations, we should certainly pray in times of pain and unknown events on earth. As we pray, we should ask for wisdom like in James 1:5, If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. Jesus gave, we know from John 3:16, For God the Father so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son. Yet, God the Father was not the only giver; Jesus also gave. Jesus is a loving, giving Savior. Jesus gave the greatest thing anyone can give, Himself. One might debate if it was more a gift for the Father to give the Son it's in (John 3:16) or if it was more of a gift for the Son to give Himself. Jesus gave the greatest gift He could; He gave himself. There is a sense in which we do not even begin to give until we give ourselves to the Father and others. Grace to you and peace from God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen ! The key word here is grace. My question today is, do you have grace for others? The Apostle Paul used the word grace more than 100 times in his writings. Among all the other writers of the New Testament, it is only used 55 times. Paul was truly the Apostle of graceGod always directs us to be others-focused, and says, “Bear one another’s burdens.” Understand, bearing one another’s burdens, it so fulfills the law of Christ. For if anyone thinks himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself. Get this, it's a command to obey !  It's in John 13: 34-35, A new commandment I give unto you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this shall men know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another. Okay another question , Are you one of God's disciples ? Let him who is taught the word share in all good things. Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith. I don't know it you understand it's the will fighting ( Flesh and Spirit ). Jesus' example ought to be a comfort to us. Prayer was a way of life for Jesus, even when his human desires ran contrary to God's. We can pour out our honest desires to God, even when we know they conflict with his, even when we wish with all of our body and soul that God's will could be done in some other way. The Bible says Jesus Christ was in agony. We sense the intense conflict in Jesus' prayer, as his sweat contained great droplets of blood in Luke 22:44. Wow! Is your flesh fighting with your spirit ? Jesus asked, His Father to remove the cup of suffering. Then he surrendered, "Not my will, but yours be done." Heavenly Father, help us to get understanding of your plan and purpose for our lives. Let us seek your will daily by your word. Let us be crucified in our flesh daily, so we can do you will. Let us have unconditional love, it's love without any conditions for one another in the body of Christ Jesus. Let us learn to help others without expecting anything in return. Amen !

Two Scriptures to Meditate on this week:
John 3:16,For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Galatians 2:20, I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
