The message for the beloved children of God -Spiritually grounded for 2014!

To the children of God, have you asked the Holy Spirit to lead and guide you in 2014? Understand we can not walk this journey called life, without the help of the Holy Spirit. Why? Because from the begining of time God created the first two people, he had a very special relationship with them, Adam and Eve.They lived in a beautiful garden-like paradise called Eden. A special tree in Eden that had fruit was there, but God said not to eat from this tree that was called “the tree of the knowledge of good and evil”. He sayed, you are free to eat anything else, but something took place a separation came. An angel who rebelled against God showed up. He had disguised himself and visited Eve in the Garden. God sits back and watches this scenario unfold. He allowed Satan himself to be able to roam in this garden in the form of a serpent, God knowing full well that Satan would try and tempt them to disobey His word. Satan suggested to Eve that God made the rule about the tree because he didn’t want them to have god-like knowledge and power. As we all know, Eve eventually fell for Satan’s lies and deception. Eve took Satan’s advice, and she ate the forbidden fruit nothing happened, she then turns to Adam and convinces him to do the same thing.The Bible tells us that their eyes were “opened” and they “knew” that they were naked. Not only did Adam first sin corrupt his own heart, it corrupted all who came after Him! Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: not only did Adam and Eve open themselves up to physical death as a result of this one transgression, but they have now also suffered a direct spiritual death since they lost their direct spiritual connection to God the Father. This means that every person since Adam and Eve, including you and me, is born Spiritually Dead. People who are spiritually dead tend not to value the things that God values. Whenever a person is presented with the choice of obeying God or disobeying him, he usually prefers to disobey. Sometimes people will do what is right, but even then it is often only because doing so benefits him or her in some way. But God has made a way for us to be restore back to Himself, by His one and only Son Jesus Christ. Read John 6:40,And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. Confess that Jesus Christ is the only way to God. He is the only One who can bring us back to God. Christ died on the Cross, was buried, and rose again from the grave, paying the penalty for our sins and bridging the gap between God and man. Read Romans 5:11-12, And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement. Heavenly Father, my prayer today is for me and your beloved children to be rooted and grounded in your word. Being strong spiritually, means that we are walking upright with you Lord. Thank you Lord for loving us that we are not separated from you, by the blood of Jesus Christ. Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !
