The message for the beloved children of God -What's in your Heart ?

We honor the Memory of Dr Martin Luther King Jr. today. Church services and tributes will be held across the United States, let us stand together, " No more shots fired on one another". As Dr. King explains, violence only leads to destruction: Every man must decide whether he will walk in the light of creative altruism or in the darkness of destructive selfishness.

What's in your heart? Examine yourselves, not others to see whether you are in the faith. Let us not worry about others, but know for yourself that your in the faith of God. Read 2 Corinthians 13:5,Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates? Consider your ways and God's ways, do your thoughts and intentions line up with God's will? The word of God says some people honour god with their lips, but not with there heart. Read Matthew 15:8-11,This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand: Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man. When people are ignorant of God's directions on how He is to be worshipped, they wander in spiritual darkness. When we follow the commandments of men instead of God's instructions, our worship becomes vain. Since the word of God is truth, when we worship God in truth, we worship Him according to His word. The only way God will accept our worship is to follow His directions by His Spirit (His Word). Read Proverbs 14:11-13,The house of the wicked shall be overthrown: but the tabernacle of the upright shall flourish. There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. Even in laughter the heart is sorrowful; and the end of that mirth is heaviness. The only way to worship Him, is both in Spirit and in Truth. Heavenly Father, I come before you at the throne of grace for your direction for my life. I come to you Lord in spirit and truth for self-examination. For there is no where I can go, where I can hide from you Lord. Let me be found faithful and true to you Lord. Thank you Lord for your word and your spirit that lives in me. Amen !
