Read 1 Samuel 16:7, But the Lord said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart. They emphasize that “The Lord does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” The Bible teaches that God created us and that he knows each of us intimately. Read 1 Peter 3:3-4, Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.There will be times when you feel unloved or not good enough because you base your opinion on your outward appearance.Understand that you are precious in God's eye sight. God loves you and he wants you to live in faith and obedience to this will. Heavenly Father, thank you Lord for loving us. Thank you Lord for showing us your love for us in that while we were still sinners, Jesus Christ died for us. For you have giving us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control. For your love Lord is unconditionally.Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !
