The word for today is - Time !

 

Jesus says, the time has come, what did He mean? By this He meant ,I will pour out my Spirit on the believers. Read John 7:39,(But this spoke he of the Spirit, whom they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Spirit was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)He was talking about the Holy Ghost being sent down to His people from heaven. Jesus was not yet glorified. Jesus had not yet ascended to heaven,to the glory and honor that awaited him there. It was a part of the arrangement in the work of redemption that the influences of the Holy Spirit should descend after the death of Jesus. We have so much to be thankful for, we can live now inorder to face tomorrow, because He lives in us, read John 20:22,And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and said unto them, Receive you the Holy Spirit. Thank you for the  breath of life. He made us new again, in order to be properly qualified for the work to which he had called us to do. Thank you for your word. Amen !
