Good morning,  The word for today is - Storms !

 

We can not control everything around us, but God is in control of everything! Maybe you’re going through one of life’s storms and you just can not understand why. God doesn’t expect you to understand it all. But, He wants you to trust in His goodness and greatness and believe that He can cause something good to happen out of a bad situation. Understand this, the storms of life can make us bitter or better.The storms of life are beyond our understanding. If we do not know our real purpose in life; our reason for existing, life is very meaningless.Yet,God created each of us with a special purpose in mind.Having trouble in this life is not the issue, how we react to it is the real issue.What we face in this world will either break us or make us strong. There are only two motivating factors in life: fear or faith. When the storms of life come you must speak the word of God to the storm,read Jeremiah 20:11, But the Lord is with me as a mighty terrible one: therefore my persecutors shall stumble, and they shall not prevail: they shall be greatly ashamed; for they shall not prosper: their everlasting confusion shall never be forgotten. Walk by faith,not fear! Understand that the Lord is with thy,read Romans 8:31,What shall we then say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? In other words nothing can overtake you, Amen ! It can come and will come, declares the Lord,but it will not stay read Jeremiah 1:19,And they shall fight against you; but they shall not prevail against you; for I am with you, says the Lord, to deliver you. The Lord says, everything is going to be alright. we must believe in God's word. We must trust Him, just as Daniel did. Daniel was put in a lions den,when taken up out of the den, no wounds made by the lions, Why? Because he believed in God and His word, he served and worshipped him in the storm. Read Ephesians 1:11-12,In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.Can you worship Him in your storm? Read Proverbs 16:4,The Lord hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil. In the end, God will give you peace and joy, He knows the end and the beginning, Even what’s going to happen in the future to come. God is omniscient or all-knowing, He sees every move we make, He knows the innermost thoughts of our hearts and He even knows what we are going to say before we say it or do it.We can have confidence in Him and in His promises, not only for peace in this life, but an eternity of joy in the life to come.Thank you Lord for your word.
