The word for today is - Perseverance !

 

As a child growing up, the older people in your life would always say,"Never give up!"you can be anything you put your mind to. In the Bible there are many examples of those whose patience characterized their walk with God,Job whose "perseverance was rewarded " and Abraham,waited patiently and “received what was promised.” So when we face trials in life, understand that it is our faith that is being tested.The word of God says, count it as joy don't worry, read James 1:1-4,James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting.My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.If you have faith, all things are possible for you, Jesus said if a person believes in Him,its done read,Matthew 17:20,And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you shall say unto this mountain, Remove from here to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.Now get this, read 2 Thessalonians 3:13,But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing.Jesus is our model in all things, and He demonstrated patient endurance: “Who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” This world is filled with people that have not heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ, we have to share the good news with others. People are looking for something to hold on to. We have to share our faith, how can we keep our mouths closed? Lets keep oneness with Christ, serve Him with all of your heart, mind and Spirit. We are on earth, created for a purpose. God has prepared in us a good work, read Ephesians 2:9-12,Not of works, lest any man should boast.For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world. Are you sitting down of your faith? We have been ordained by God, not man, move forward. Our father in heaven we seek you for strength, read 1 Chronicles 16:10-11,Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the Lord.Seek the Lord and his strength, seek his face continually. Remain steadfast and unmoved in God read James 1:12,Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. He will give you perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Him.Thank you Lord for your word. Amen !
