The word for today is - Miracle !

Good morning,
The word for today is -  Miracle !

The most significant recorded miracle of all in the Bible is the virgin birth of Jesus Christ. His miracles are recorded in the first four books of the New Testament, turning water into wine, making blind people see, making deaf people hear and making lame people walk. Miracles in the Bible served two purposes. One is to show that the person performing the miracle is sent by God.The second reason is to create faith in those seeing the miracles. The same people who saw God part the Red Sea ,later doubted whether God was able to conquer the inhabitants of the Promised Land. The Lord has given different gifts (not all of them are miracles) to each individual member of the body of (believers) Christ, to be used to edify the whole body. We have different parts of a physical body, and we are given different abilities and serve different purposes in the body of (believers) Christ. Read Ephesians 4:11-12, it also explains, And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors; and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints for the work of the ministry for the edifying of the body of Christ. Are you working in your ministry? Read 1 Corinthians 12, the scripture says this: And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues. Does God perform miracles today? Yes ! God does still perform miracles, look in the mirror. You are created in the image of God, God sees you as a masterpiece; and when you look in the mirror say Psalm 139:14, I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well,  and smile.  The world focuses on the outward appearance, but God focuses on the inside of mankind ( the heart ).  Thank you God for your miracles in us. Amen !
